Fence-Sitting Christianity – Is the Word Truth or is Jesus a Liar?

April 3, 2008

The days of Elijah are with us. The time has come when Christianity is going to be judged for the religion it is, and the true church will no longer be able to remain with the fence-sitting institutional church, as it leans more and more toward liberalism, every day.

The gates of Hades will not prevail against the church of Jesus Christ, but they surely will prevail against that great harlot Babylon, mother of all religious systems. Today, her name is Romanism – the last of the empires shown to Daniel. His prophecy spanned a time in which we have seen the empires of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome come and go, each with its own governmental, religious and economic system, created to serve Satan and not God.  Everything about these empire-building systems of man has the stamp of man on them. Hence, they have the number of the beast, 666, stamped all over them.

Solomon was the king of Israel who mastered the role of fence-sitting, which eventually cost him the kingdom of Israel. The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold (1 Kings 10:14). Here God gives the foundational message to man who thinks he is able to build a house for Him made of hand-cut stones.

Solomon is the father of the religious institutional church’s hand-cut-stone-building-crew of today, which has not understood yet that Jesus is the Builder of the Temple, with the living stones being the only church-building plan the Lord had in mind for His church. Hades will prevail against all the stone structures built to house religion, but it will not prevail against the body of living stones, witnessing to the truth.

This message should tell a priesthood, with its bags packed and ready for the rapture, that the only rapture it will see is that of the true church witnessing to the truth, definitely not sitting on a fence with one foot in religion and the other in the Bible. There is no room for the truth of the Bible to be shared with the belief systems of Satan, which are based on the first lies of the Garden.

The truth has the power over land and sea, as had that angel of Revelation who was able to open or close the book of the mysteries of God given to the prophets, while having one foot on the sea and the other on the land. The church of truth, as long as it is holding the hand of Truth like Peter held the hand of Jesus, will be able to walk on water as well as on land, certainly spiritually, if not literally.

It is time for the entire church system to face the facts; it is decision time again, just as it was in the days of Elijah. Either it will declare the Word of God to be truth, or it will have no alternative but to declare Jesus to be a liar. Jesus, Himself, gives us no other option.

The act of partaking in communion with Him forms a covenant between the Bridegroom and His bride, which is the betrothal agreement between the Son of God and His creation of man. Satan hates this relationship of marriage between God and man, so much so that he tries to muddy it with the distortion and abomination of homosexuality.

He will permeate the church, the classroom and the government with this evil in his attempt to conquer a nation by using the gold system (business) to further his cause. Hence we see business, today, fully backing the homosexual political agenda aimed ultimately at having the Bible declared hate literature and God’s institution of marriage, as He intended it, completely destroyed.

Let men monkey as they will, but, nevertheless, the institution of marriage cannot, and will not, ever be changed from that which God put in place. Only man will become more and more depraved as he plays at gender-role-reversal, trying to dethrone the God Who created him.

Liberalism is the plague, which will destroy institutional Christianity, for liberalism is nothing but the separation of man from God, through a religious belief system. The first attack of liberalism by Satan came against Adam and Eve in the Garden of creation, when they were led by the lie into the pit of death.

Jesus declared Himself to be the way, the truth and the life. In communion, He emphasized the message, which the apostle John would later put to pen in his gospel. Jesus is the Word made flesh. Therefore, when He tells us to eat His flesh, He is telling us to live by the bread of life, the truth, and devour it into our beings, for it will also give the light of understanding and life. He always quoted the Scriptures, for they were written in the Spirit of prophecy. Likewise, the testimony of Jesus is given in the spirit of prophecy (see Revelation 19:10).

For Jesus to deny the truth of Scripture, He would have to lie and reject the very prophecy upon which He justified His claim for being the Son of God. He was prophecy fulfilled in the flesh; therefore the Scriptures must line up with Him, and He with them. He was Truth, and He declared the Scriptures to be faithful and true. Are you willing to be part of a man-made organization, which disputes this fact among its denominations and even within its own dividing walls? Does Jesus allow us to believe that a house divided against itself can stand?

Over ten thousand Christian leaders got together to celebrate a day honoring the theory of evolution, which is exactly that – nothing but a theory concocted by men. This group of leaders may well be Christians, but in no way are they a part of the church of Jesus Christ, which knows the voice of her Shepherd and Beloved, Who speaks only truth.

As Elijah said, in so many words, “Either get off the potty or do what you are there to do.” You will either accept the truth of Jesus or you will believe the lies of Satan; one leads to life and the other to death, but there can be no fence-sitting between the two. God declared this to be so to Adam and Eve. Satan said otherwise, like our religious sons of the beast say today when they deny the truth of God, declaring Scriptures to be confusing and contradictory.

What it is that such men do not understand about the tapestry of weaving within the Word, which intertwines prophecy to depict the truth in various ways and forms, with different prophetic messages being given for different times?

For example, in Matthew, Jesus rides a donkey, but He has a donkey and a colt loosed. The colt represents the latter-day revived apostolic church after it is healed and taken from the tomb of religion. In the beginning, when the church goes out from Jerusalem, the older vessel, the donkey, has the colt with it, representing a future reborn church. However, coming back to Jerusalem in the final days, about which Luke is writing prophetically for the latter-day church, Jesus is seen riding the colt, the younger branch and vessel of the early church, so to speak.

The child or the colt is always a part of the mother before it is born, but then it must come forth in its own right and stand on its own legs. There is no contradiction, only the prophecy for the same church, but for two different times. Those whose eyes are clouded by religion will not see this message through the eyes of understanding. Many of them have been blinded by the religion of the church of their choice.

When Elijah called to Israel asking how long the people would be of two opinions, his was the voice of the prophet who always feels like a loner in the wilderness and sea of religion. Yet, God assured Elijah that He had reserved seven thousand in Israel who had not bowed their knees to the god of religion.

This depicts prophetically the true church today, which is difficult to find in its captivity to Christianity, but, nevertheless, is there and must exit from the walls that bind it. This can be as painful a process as it was for the Israelites to come out of the slavery of Egypt. The fact remains that, just as the Land was at the end of the wilderness trek, the kingdom is at the end of the true church’s wilderness trek.

Never lose sight in this natural world of the treasures stored up in the kingdom of the spiritual world. One can become so bound by the natural that one actually loves the bondage of the world for the trinkets it has to offer. But on one’s death-bed, one will come to understand that the trinkets and the friendships of this world have been at enmity with the God Who created all things. These are the very things, which can take one straight to the snake pit. On the contrary, one who lies on his/her death-bed, knowing the truth of Jesus, is blessed beyond measure as he/she moves toward the glory and the treasures that are ahead.

What fools men are to believe the lies that separate them from God! It is that Spirit of life that was lost in the Garden of Eden, which needs to be restored to men’s lives. God has mercifully restored this to us with the promise of a one-time offer of the truth. When one is born again, one is reborn into truth and one’s eyes are opened like the eyes of a newborn babe, which looks around to see the world as it really is for the first time.

We must step away from the fence to come out of the darkness and into the light. Never again will the true church fence-sit concerning the truth, and never again will Jesus be called a liar by the sheep who know His voice. He, Who calls Himself the Truth, is that one-time Offer of life from God in a world full of death and deception.
