Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily, I say unto you, They have their reward (Matthew 6:5).
Jesus spoke these words about prayer and condemnation. He was placing a label on the priests of the synagogues, the religious Judaic system of His day in Israel, by calling them hypocrites, mainly because they were seeking praise from men more than they were seeking God.
What does this say about our government leaders and priests today, who endorse homosexuality, abortion, and other gods or idols in their daily actions, to then stand publicly in prayer to a God whose Word they ignore by replacing it with their own standard of morality, which is attached to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Are they not also hypocrites seeking political votes more than they are seeking God?
Jesus taught us how to pray, stating that the Father knows the things we need before we ask Him (see Matthew 6:8). The question then becomes, “Do we pray for what we want or for what we need?” Does God not provide that which we need? Would He give us something, which might harm us, as opposed to something, which we need?
God uses the empires of man, ruled by their father, the devil, so that evil will serve good. These are the kingdoms of men, which, beginning with Adam and Eve, man has chosen in rebellion to the kingdom of God. Man has always rejected God as his supreme Ruler, choosing the ruler of this world to rule over him. He describes this rebellion in the Law as the forbidden practice of having idols before Him. It is a message important enough to be included in the first of the Ten Commandments.
Judah never ceased wanting a king of this world to rule over her, so God granted her the desires of her heart. He gave her Babylon, all the way from Nebuchadnezzar to the present day, when the Revived Roman Empire is rising up as the last empire of the Babylonian system, which will take the form of a One World Order. Its father is the devil, just as he is the father of all of the kingdoms of this world, which do not have God as their supreme Ruler. God uses these empires to chastise and return His people to Him purified through suffering. If they do not learn and make the necessary changes during the process, they will go down with the devil to the pit of hell, the place of their choice.
Only America is the composite nation, which states that God shall have dominion from sea to sea, and in Him we shall trust. This is the homeland of spiritual Israel, which God designated for His church to rule in liberty and be His voice to government by the democratic process of the vote. This allows the people, who are submitted to God, to set policy instead of government, which is required to respond to the people.
The church should and must claim her God-given voice in the affairs of state, rejecting all religion in favor of truth. If we are a nation belonging to the Lord, we will worship in spirit and in truth and never in religion (see John 4:23).
But the Lord went on to teach us the manner in which to pray (see Matthew 6:9-15). Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Now, is Jesus saying it is just fine to have a moment of silent prayer to whoever your god might be? To the contrary, it is the name of God, the Father, not Allah, not Buddha and not some carved idol we are to address.
There is no room for the believer to leave the name of the one we address as an open-ended prayer to whomever it may concern, as do our political leaders, when praying within a public body. Believers pray only to God the Father, the Creator, who never told us to call Him Allah. He is the great “I AM” and His name is all-important and is to be hallowed. There is no ambiguity involved in prayer, when it comes to the only person who can answer prayer.
Thy kingdom come. My friends, nothing could be more governmental, political or narrow. There is but one government for which we are praying to come to earth, and it is the government of God, ruled by Jesus Christ and no other.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. This is a New World Order to come, which will replace the One World Order under the satanic ruler of the empires of the world, called the devil; it is heaven come to earth. So you can rest assured that Jesus is going to return, this time as King, Judge and the High Priest of the entire world, as opposed to the suffering little Lamb of God, who suffered before the political and religious leaders of His day for your and my sake. For this reason He taught us to pray for His kingdom to come, and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, so that peace could return to mankind.
Give us this day our daily bread. He is the provider of our daily bread, the manna from heaven. Jesus said He was the manna from above and that He also was truth. If He is going to feed us spiritually, we will receive nothing but truth, which is the foundation of His kingdom. There will be no religion in the coming kingdom.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. We are in debt to Jesus who has forgiven us of sin so that we might live. We must forgive others so that they too might live. It is not our place to cling to the debt, which Jesus has already assumed and paid.
It is incumbent upon us to see beyond sin and into the hearts of men. Only then can we, like the judiciary, offer perfect justice to another. The judiciary, if it were to function as our constitution determined it should, could never exist without the Word of God as its foundation. Solomon tried to be the perfect judge but even with all his God-given wisdom, he failed when he opened the door of his life and nation to religious idols.
And lead us not into temptation. Oh, the power of that wily serpent, the devil! The first woman, Eve, saw the forbidden tree was good for food, pleasant to the eye, and desirable to make one wise. She not only ate of it, herself, but she also offered it to her husband, who also ate. The problem was that the food was not fruit at all, but rather just the illusion that comes with the attractive appearance of the lure, so appealing to the eye and good to taste.
The only food that is fruitful is that which comes from above, the flesh of Jesus, which is the Word (truth) made flesh. The illusion is based on the lies of religion and not on truth. Don’t go there, don’t look, and don’t touch! The message to Eve from God was not to eat it lest ye die, but Satan twisted the message from God with a lie saying, Ye shall not surely die.
And thus, the sin of rebellion brought death to mankind, and we continue to this day to be duped by the religion that grew out of the lie. It has led to New Age spiritualism, which says that the power comes from within us to be like the Most High God.
But deliver us from evil. Is there another Savior? No, there is not one, but Jesus. Gurus can offer you no salvation whatsoever, for their cultism is cleverly wrapped in the trappings of the knowledge of good and evil. They believe that man’s goodness will ultimately produce heaven on earth, but such a lie comes straight from the pit of hell.
You can rest assured the 33 Chilean miners, trapped beneath the surface of the earth, prayed to God, and not to Gurus, to save them, for they knew that there was nothing good enough within them to raise them up without the hand of God working for them. Only Jesus could bring them up to the surface and back to life, through the work of the cross, and it is a very narrow way back, indeed.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. America, you were called to be the light of the coming kingdom on earth where God, not man, rules. Again, you have rejected God, just as Israel rejected Him before you. Now, like Israel, you will come under the judgment reserved for the nations, which God sees as nothing in His sight; in fact, He counts them as less than nothing and worthless (see Isaiah 40:17). At the same time the gates of hell will not prevail against an emerging church, which is making its exodus from the tomb of Christian religion to stand again on its apostolic foundation of truth.
How do we come to the Lord in prayer? Forget about doing so, if you want to remain in today’s evil culture and, at the same time, think that God will hear your prayers. The apostle Peter makes it pretty clear to us: For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile; let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil (1 Peter 3:10-12).
His kingdom is going to come and His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. You can get onto the Way to the kingdom opened to you and to me at the cross. The Way is narrow and only Jesus is the Way. Prayer to any other god is useless and unfruitful. Am I intolerant of other gods and religion? You can bet your life I am. The Way is as narrow as that capsule, which brought the 33 miners back from the depths of the pit to life on the surface.
Hell has no power to destroy that which God has redeemed on the narrow Way.
