Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

We look at Jerusalem today and see its plight. Multiculturalism has made it the tinderbox of the nations. It is a city full of cults with a cultic mosque, belonging to Islam, the enemy of Israel, lodged on the Temple Mount. Missiles besiege the city and the land, directed there on a regular basis.
For forty years Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, tried to warn Israel that Jerusalem’s doom was imminent, unless she were to forsake her whoring ways with the cults and idols of the nations; but she would not listen. Finally, the day of judgment came and the boom was lowered by God. Consider the words of Jeremiah who saw her desolation, which is with her to this day, though some would tell you prophecy has been fulfilled, and Israel is peacefully residing back in the Land, once again enjoying its lush vegetation and its fruitfulness.
How lonely sits the city that was full of people! How like a widow is she, who was great among the nations! The princess among the provinces has become a slave! She weeps bitterly in the night, her tears are on her cheeks; among all her lovers she has none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; they have become her enemies. Judah has gone into captivity, under affliction and hard servitude; she dwells among the nations, she finds no rest; all her persecutors overtake her in dire straits.
The roads to Zion mourn because no one comes to the set feasts. All her gates are desolate; her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness. Her adversaries have become the master, her enemies prosper; for the Lord has afflicted her because of the multitude of her transgressions. Her children have gone into captivity before the enemy. And from the daughter of Zion all her splendor has departed. Her princes have become like deer that find no pasture, that flee without strength before the pursuer. In the days of her affliction and roaming, Jerusalem remembers all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old. When her people fell into the hand of the enemy, with no one to help her, the adversaries saw her and mocked at her downfall (Lamentations 1:1-7).
Now, consider a nation over whom the Lord God ruled and His Word, the Bible, was established as the truth upon which the judicial system required witnesses to swear. People were free to worship as they so pleased, as long as they recognized the Law of this land was God’s Law and the Bible would be elementary for the basis of education, the judicial system and government. There were no other gods sharing in the position of the God who ruled over America as her Supreme Commander-in-chief. Other cultures had their own lands and were not any part of the American land of liberty. Cults produce controls, not liberty. Cults lead to government-down rule rather than grassroots-up rule of the people.
But, as with Jerusalem, the people who were blessed of God became fat, like the cows of Bashan, with the women reveling in their beauty. They began to fill the nation with beauty pageants of mindless women, strutting their pride and ignorance. They all had the same line, which declared their love for peace, but, beyond that, they had little or no understanding as ‘Miss Congenialities’. The men ogled them, allowing their lust to grow for stronger pornographic material, until they forgot about the God who had blessed them in this land.
While Americans live to be entertained, pursuing their sexual idols and enjoying their sports games and game shows, the cults are moving in and setting up shop right under their noses. But they, the people, are so consumed by entertainment that they have come to the point of no longer caring about the important things, such as their freedom and rights as a nation. And so, the cults have grown until even cities have been taken over by them, and mosques have sprung up in every neighborhood.
A Muslim was elected to the Office of the President, and very few knew it. He was extremely charismatic, hanging loose like a real guy, as one of the boys. Though registered at Columbia as a student, no one in his class claims to have known or have seen him there, according to his former class president. Man, is he not cool with a gift of the gab such that even the most hardened on the Right are ready to bow before him as the messiah? Elvis was dead, but America had a new king and it certainly would help that he was a black one. No one could use the racist label against him, although he has offered a racial ticket to the blacks to use against his opponents.
The prognosis for the ‘shining city on a hill’ is no better than that for the city of Jerusalem. Jeremiah looked spiritually into the future and caught a glimpse of the fading light of the shining city in America going out, just as it had gone out in Jerusalem. The cults are building their temples across the country as they purchase the land for Satan. The killing, whoring ways of the harlot have come to this nation. Yes, Virginia, there are aliens whose ships have landed right in the heartland of America.
So, Jeremiah continued to weep and lament, asking why the Lord would forsake His nation so long. But truly, is it not the fact, nearly 2600 years after the time of Jeremiah’s weeping, that we are the people who are sinning in harlotry against our God by still chasing after the cults? The corrupt church system should be weeping today, as did Jeremiah yesterday, but it cannot weep. It has become the whore, with its Rick Warrens leading her toward Chrislam and into a one-world religion.
Jeremiah saw, in the spirit, our day as God’s nation and her coming judgment as he wept for her, long before it would come about, just as it came about for Israel.
Remember, O Lord, what has come upon us; look, and behold our reproach! Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens, and our houses to foreigners. We have become orphans and waifs, our mothers are like widows. We pay for the water we drink, and our wood comes at a price. They pursue at our heels; we labor and have no rest. We have given our hand to the Egyptians and the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
Our fathers sinned and are no more, but we bear their iniquities. Servants rule over us; there is none to deliver us from their hand. We get our bread at the risk of our lives, because of the sword in the wilderness. Our skin is hot as an oven, because of the fever of famine. They ravished the women in Zion, the maidens in the cities of Judah. Princes were hung up by their hands, and elders were not respected. Young men ground at the millstones; boys staggered under loads of wood. The elders have ceased gathering at the gate, and the young men from their music.
The joy of our heart has ceased; our dance has turned into mourning. The crown has fallen from our head. Woe to us, for we have sinned! Because of this our heart is faint; because of these things our eyes grow dim; because of Mount Zion which is desolate, with foxes walking about on it (Lamentations 5:1-18).
Jeremiah answered his own question as to why God has forsaken us so long, with the words, Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored; renew our days as of old, unless You have utterly rejected us, and are very angry with us (Lamentations 5:21-22)!
The greatest platform on which Mitt Romney could stand, in his bid for the Office of the President, is that of the heritage belonging to the United States and plead the case for turning back to it and restoring the pride of a nation ruled in liberty under God. She needs the promise of restoration of her failing freedoms while, at the same time, a removal of the rights of cults to infest this nation and destroy her natural culture, which is found only under God.
If the Netherlands and Australia, which are both nations not ruled by God, can begin this process, then is it not time for the voice of the American people to be heard in this land ruled by God, to show the world how it is completed? It begins with repentance, and then saying good-bye to political correctness and hello, again, to the truth. Why would any people want to depend on lies, rather than on the truth, knowing they will be destroyed from within by the opening, which the lies of political correctness leave for the enemy?
Should the glory of God’s own people not go to Him, rather than to a man who thinks he is a king, but is nothing more than an agent for Satan? You can always tell these agents by their lying and their deception. For what are they, if not sons of the beast?
