She Stands on Truth

Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out  …from a different perspective

The French philosopher, Alexis de Tocqueville, came to America in the early nineteenth century seeking to know what made America great. He believed that it depended upon the pulpits and, to some degree, he was correct. The greatness of America, above all the other nations of the world, was due to the fact that she stood on truth, making the God of truth Ruler over the nation. This is fact and has nothing to do with your or my belief system.

From the God of truth comes the Bible of truth and from it came the foundational law of the two constitutions. This nation was like the coming kingdom within a world of empire building nations. Her doors were open to all the peoples of the world who wanted to live in liberty and freedom from the religious warring among the other nations. We have never fully understood God’s plan for America in light of His plan for Israel.

From where do the nations of the world come, and what does God think of them? They belong to their father, the devil and, without exception, they all come within the government set-up, which Satan established with the first lies of religious liberalism from God, spoken in the Garden. God drove man from His Garden kingdom to leave him to face the change in government as a result of his choice of the lie over the truth, which is called sin.

He learned the hard way that God meant what He said. Man was to keep His way and live; if he were to go Satan’s broad road, he would die. What we have learned over the centuries is that the broad road of the empires is a road of violence, torture, terror and suffering, which ultimately leads to death.

When we ask where God is during all of this, the answer is that He has allowed us the outcome of our choices, by stepping back to allow the evil we want to overcome us. He is waiting in the wings apart from our evil ways because we wanted it that way. We still do not want Him telling us what to do. Yet, only He has the answers to stop the evil and suffering.

As the world grew into a state, not unlike that which we have today – full of violence, terror and religious wars – God brought a devouring flood upon the earth to destroy mankind, except for one righteous man, his family, and a chosen cross-section of animals according to species and numbers. This man, Noah, built an ark according to God’s design and, together they rode out the flood until all living things were destroyed.

Only Noah and those with him remained alive. All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died (Genesis 7:22). Notice, those which survived were the fish of the waters, not dependent on the breath of the Spirit or the dry land. Man had simply not valued the breath of life nor had he shown God gratitude for it, as one should do daily. So, he lost it.

Noah’s family was simply accredited with the same righteousness as Noah, but the moment they departed from the ark, one of his sons sinned. Leaven began to grow again until mankind set about to build his own stairway to heaven in the form of a city with a tower. Puffed up in his own pride, his aim was to make a name for himself through religion instead of standing on truth, even though he was merely the created. And so, the glory of the Creator was ignored and rejected for a works plan. To this day we are victims of the social gospel, which had its beginnings in Babel.

The people were one and of one language, so that there was no opposition to preventing them from doing whatever they purposed. They formed a One World Order, which God came down to break up by confusing their language and scattering them abroad over the face of the earth. He called this place Babel, the mother of harlotry and of the nations. Henceforth, the empire building nations became part of the Babylonian system, which came to rest in Babylon once the spiritual waters of the Egyptian Empire and the Assyrian Empire were dried up.

With the formation of the United Nations, today, Babel is raising its ugly head again as the nations press once more toward a coming satanic One World Order where all nations will be of one official language, one economic system, one political or governmental system and one religious system, the roots of which go all the way back to Babel.

In the midst of Satan’s evil regime of nations, God pulled His own people out of them to live according to His government rule of law, to show man the difference between kingdom and nation, with the glory all going to God. Over time, He showed that His nation was not to remain a natural nation, which would receive the same judgment as that of the other nations, but, in fact, it would become a spiritual nation of which the spiritual waters would never dry up.

When Israel failed to honor God and give the glory to Him, a spiritual fountain of life opened in the West to which God brought His spiritual people, now called the church, who were to overcome national borders. This would become the object of Satan’s hatred and his attacks. The more the institutional church focuses on being a purpose-driven church the less it will focus on sin and the need for salvation. Today the counterfeit system of Christianity, calling itself church, is heading the route of the mega, self-satisfied, works-orientated Babylonian abomination that it is.

Satan began with the seduction of the apostolic church into the Babylonian system by creating a religion called Christianity within the final Babylonian empire of Rome. For centuries the church was held captive in her own Egypt, which God allowed by using Rome as He had used Egypt to protect His own while His church grew throughout the world. Unfortunately, due to Christianity, the younger sister of spiritual Israel became even more corrupt than the older sister, the nation Israel, which had to contend with Judaism (see Ezekiel 23).

But now, it is judgment time on a scale infinitely bigger than that which came upon Egypt. God is going to judge the entire world at the same time He separates His church in the final covenant move of a covenant made millennia ago with Abraham and was transformed by Jesus into a new covenant. It is all about a marriage between God and man, whereby with Jesus, man will finally bring forth the good fruit the Lord had desired from Adam and Eve.

In the transitional chapter 40 of the book of Isaiah, it is all brought together in this amazing book written by an amazing prophet. At this prophetic moment, he catches a glimpse of the fulfillment of the New Covenant with man through Jesus Christ who bought and paid for His bride on the cross.

Isaiah sees all flesh as grass, a people who wither and die while the Word of God stands forever. Then he sees Zion as a woman, lifting up a voice with strength in the Lord who comes with a strong hand bringing His rewards with Him. It is a time of feeding the sheep (the Great Commission of Jesus spoken to Peter) and gathering them with His arm back to the bosom of the Lord. He has measured the waters and the heavens, has directed paths of justice and has given knowledge, while showing the way of understanding.

The nations are seen as a drop in the bucket, counted as small dust in the balance and counted by God as less than nothing, and worthless. So much for the great power of the United Nations, a body of wickedness, if ever there was one! The Lord will bring their princes to nothing and make the judges of the earth useless.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. There is no searching of His understanding. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:28-31).

And so, America, it is decision time. Will you remain standing on the truth of God’s Word, which lasts forever, or will you join the nations in their unity of purpose and be counted as less than nothing and worthless when they disappear with the coming of God’s kingdom on earth? You can be sure it is coming, but are you sure you will be in it? Only the truth of God’s Word provides the sure way of getting there.

Choose today and choose wisely! For all of history, from Adam and Eve, through that of Israel to the present nation of America, warns us of how easy it is to lose the incredible gift of life, the breath of the Spirit of life, necessary to bring forth the good fruit for the Father. It is the fruit of truth known as the church and bride of Christ, who stands on nothing else in her purity, having prepared herself for the wedding of the Lamb and for His kingdom here on earth.
