Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:1-5).
That was the true Light which gives light to every man who comes into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him (John 1:9-11).
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:16-17).
When the parents of the human race rebelled against God by ignoring His voice, which spoke only truth, they died spiritually (see Genesis 2:17; Romans 5:12). Every man, woman and child is separated from God by the barrier of original sin inherited from Adam, and personal sin committed individually day by day (see Romans 3:23; 6:23). They are under the curse of death. But Jesus, the Word made flesh, came into the world to save man from this curse.
He would take the sentence of death upon Himself as the perfect Son of God, born of the Spirit of life and not by the corrupted seed of Adam. Hence, He would die and be resurrected unto eternal life so that you and I might live because of Him. Only the Word of truth can save man from his sin. If man is faithful and obedient to the gospel of truth, then he will receive the blessing of God and the gift of life in the truth.
Last night, Donald Trump gave the speech of his lifetime as his acceptance speech for the GOP nomination. But there was one glaring conflict in it all, which could make him the agent of God rather than the chosen of God. Pharaoh was an agent of God, but Joseph was the chosen vessel of God. Pharaoh was as the Antichrist, subject to the curse; Joseph was as the Christ, subject to the blessing. Both are types – the first, a type of the curse leading to death and the death of his nation, while the second was a type of Jesus leading to life and the life of a nation under God.
It could be said that the second type received the blessing of God and the victory over the enemy, which comes with God’s presence (see the book of Joshua who was also a type of Jesus, and the victory, which belonged to Israel under his leadership). There is no blessing outside of Jesus, or the Word of God, who gives the light of life to His true church whom He washed clean of sin by the hearing of the Word.
Now hear these words of truth!
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them (Romans 1:18-19).
God gave them up to uncleanness because of the lusts of their hearts to dishonor their bodies among themselves (see Romans 1:24).
…God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting (Romans 1:26-28).
…who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them (Romans 1:32).
Along with homosexuality, the long list of things considered not fitting include any form of sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness, whispering, backbiting, hatred for God, violence, pride, boasting, invention of evil things, disobedience to parents, lack of discernment, untrustworthiness, unlovingness, unforgiveness and lack of mercy (see Romans 1:29-31).
Does this not sound somewhat like the list Mr. Trump used in his speech to describe Hillary Clinton and her team of Democrats? As a strong supporter of Donald Trump’s desire to make America great again, after his speech was finally over, I found myself let down, having to ask myself whether or not the kettle should be calling the pot black.
So much concern was shown for editing, re-editing and making sure nothing should creep into the speeches from the podium, which should not be there, that I had to ask myself who was responsible for allowing the endorsement of the LGBT community to make its way into Mr. Trump’s speech? If it were Donald Trump himself, then all his good intentions will be doomed.
A nation under God can only survive if it is not cursed by its endorsement of sin. Sinners can carry out sin on their own time, but not with the nation’s co-partnership. If this were not true, then, by the same token, murderers could argue their right to freedom. Liars such as Hillary cannot be marginalized for untruths. To do so would show that Donald Trump holds to a double standard, by taking a stand for the sake of a few votes, which would be to the detriment of the entire nation.
It is by the purity of being washed clean of liberalism and religious lies by the truth of the Word that Jesus said of His church that the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Christianity is a religious system, which, at the moment, holds the greater part of the church captive to the Babylonian system, due to its Roman roots and not to its apostolic roots.
All religions are going to completely fall into the arms of Babylon the Great, mother of all harlots, as they return to their roots formed in Babel in a One World Order of religion and government. The Pope of Romanism is leaning toward it, today. So, too, are various sects of Protestantism, along with the political elitists in their push for a One World Order of religion, government and trade (666 the number of the beast). The gates of hell will surely prevail against Christianity.
Where, may I ask, was the rejection from the Republican audience, which is considered to be representative of the evangelical church in America, as they clapped and cheered Mr. Trump when he pronounced his endorsement for the LGBT community? How is it that they can endorse that which God calls an abomination, and, in the same breath, along with most of the speakers from the podium, then conclude with a plea to God, asking Him to bless America? Do they actually believe that He will do so, while they completely disregard His judgment on homosexuality?
If so, hear these words of truth!
“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any beast, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before a beast to mate with it. It is perversion. Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants (Leviticus 18:22-25).”
Just what kind of judges is Mr. Trump planning to appoint? Will they reject the foundation of American law, which is founded in biblical truth, whence comes our moral code in a life-promoting culture, to instead embrace a death culture? Is it, indeed, even possible to make America great again while falling under the judgment of God?
I would suggest that, to adopt a policy supportive of sin, is to commit suicide for the nation by placing it on the hanging tree of the Garden, which leads to the curse and not to the blessing. The LGBT group has the same rights anyone else has to commit their sins on their own time, but not in co-partnership with any nation seeking to become great with the blessing of God.
If the GOP continues with this endorsement, greatness will never come to America again. Instead, it will crumble under the judgment of God to become just another victim of the empires ruled by Satan, within the Babylonian system. She will become a part of the globalism of the coming One World Order, and final empire. Men lie, but God never lies in His Word of truth.
Alexis de Tocqueville, the famous French social philosopher of the early 1800’s, came to the Americas to try to discover what it was that made America so great. It was not until he went into her churches where he heard the pulpits flame with righteousness that he believed he understood her genius and her power. Upon discovering his answer, he summarized her greatness with these words:
“America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”
Where is such righteousness found in the pulpits today? To the best of my knowledge, I can think of only a handful of preachers who preach the absolute truth of the Word and are willing to preach about the destructive forces of sin. The majority of America’s preachers could be identified with that clapping and cheering evangelical audience at the GOP convention, fully endorsing that which brings nations down.
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people (Proverbs 14:34).
Wake up Mr. Trump! God dwells on high and you are down here on earth. Both you and the nation have a very great need of Him at a time such as this. For we need the power of His right hand, which we do not have if He is not with us.
So far, you have been pretty good at maneuvering your own ship through dangerous waters. But bear in mind that all it took to take the Titanic down was for the foolish men who designed it to challenge God by saying that even He could not sink this mighty iron hulk.
When push came to shove, God exerted His power over the sea, and with one very narrow slice down the ship’s side it gave way to the seawaters and disappeared forever. Some of America’s richest men were on board, along with the poor, as well as the ship’s architect; but none of it mattered. They all went down together.
