Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

To be or not to be? That is the question. There are only two options from which to choose the cultural answer – a culture of life or a culture of death. One is, to be alive in Christ in a life culture, and the other is not to be alive in Satan in a death culture.
There is no half-way position between them. One cannot be half alive or half dead. One is either fully alive or fully dead.A baby in the womb is either alive and growing or dead and not growing. Does a life culture change into a death culture upon the death of a human being? Not if one is alive in Christ.
Both cultures were established in the Garden of Eden. God introduced the culture of life in truth when He forbade man to eat of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. This was done to separate His precious creation from being caught in a deadly web of lies. It introduces to mankind a culture of death called religion – a belief system that progressively grows into complete separation from God eternally, under the label of liberalism from the God of life. We call it progressive liberalism.
The apostate message of the serpent in the Garden was that life exists for those made wise by eating the fruit of the forbidden tree, with the suggestion that there will be life at the end of the broad road of human existence, apart from God’s truth, under the sway of the serpent. After all, God created all things good, including man, so God would surely not let him die. But with man’s rebellion to God’s truth, Paul states that it is written “…there is none who does good, no, not one (see Romans 3:12).”
Henceforth, among the religious, apostate messages, one finds the focus of teaching to be upon the works of man’s hands and the doing of good deeds – the fruit of the tree, offered to Eve by the serpent. One sees our religious institutions setting up hierarchies of priests who preach sermons to the laity in pews, as opposed to building a living church of Christ in which all are part of a priesthood called to preach the truth of the gospels to all nations. This is the true, pro-active church, not one, which is asleep in the institutions where the feel-good, social gospel is preached. These preachers only serve to deaden the audience, which generally has little or no understanding.
He was Alexis de Tocqueville, the early 19th century, French, social philosopher who, while travelling the Americas, discovered that her pulpits were aflame with righteousness, which was the secret of her genius and power. He concluded that America was great because America was good, and that if she ever ceased to be good, she would cease to be great.
One only had to look to the streets of America this past week to see the filth, which filled them with a Jezebel, feminist movement, about as foul and filthy as it gets. There was no sign of any flames of righteousness left there. The light and liberty of this once great nation were gone leaving it trapped in a culture of death.
The United States of America has just elected a president who is pro-life. It remains to be seen whether or not he will work toward restoring this nation back to a life culture. Life must extend to the economic, to the governmental and to the spiritual life of the nation. In this way, he will be able to prevent her from taking the number of the beast upon herself, the number of 666 (see Revelation 13:18).
How will he be able to do this? He must embrace the message of Proverbs 4:7 – Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Just how does President Trump get wisdom? It is not possible for him to do so without the Word of God and an understanding of the truths of the Bible.
This new president has been not only a good father to his children, but he has been a great father. Now, he is as the father of the nation, elected to assume this role as the choice of the people. As such, God has entrusted His nation into his hands, giving him this advice as Father over all:
Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, and give attention to know understanding; for I give you good doctrine: do not forsake my law. When I was my father’s son, tender and the only one in the sight of my mother, he also taught me, and said to me: “Let your heart retain my words; keep my commands, and live. Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; love her, and she will keep you (Proverbs 4:1-6).”
It is said here that wisdom is found in the Word of God, and the proverb goes on to say that wisdom will deliver a crown of glory. In other words, the culture of life is found only in the truth of the Word, the Bible, and Jesus is the Word made flesh (see John 1:14). He said these words: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6).”
Jesus is the Author of the life culture. There is no other life culture or way to heaven, and the kingdom on earth. He did not say, “I am the way, the religion, and the life” – for Satan is the author of religion leading to the culture of death. There is no glory crown given out for being Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, Judaic, Communist or Secular Humanist. Religion cannot deliver something, which comes only from the God of truth. Jesus is the only One who can take you to the Father, whose Spirit, alone, is able to breathe the breath of life into the nostrils of the form of man, to create a living being.
President Donald Trump must return the Bible to the schools. Progressive liberalism has already caused us to lose a generation, which is typified by the rebellious and destructive young people who have been seen marching in protest on the streets in the days immediately following the inauguration of the President. They demonstrated their destructive nature, their foul mouths, their willingness to blow up buildings, to abort unborn babies and generally to promote a death culture.
In direct contrast to this disgusting display, the March for Life followed with an amazing, orderly, pro-life demonstration, which warmed the heart just to watch the culture of life in action. Vice-President Mike Pence and Kellyanne Conway were a credit to the newly elected President as his representatives, seemingly ready to return the country back to a life culture.
The best thing, which this President can do for those people who elected him and for the rest of America, is to reward them by giving truth back to their children, with Bibles being returned to their rightful place in the classroom. As a great nation, America never honored religion in the schools; she only honored the truth, until progressive liberalism raised its ugly head to take these young lives captive to its death culture. After all, if the Bible is the standard for swearing Presidents into office in truth, should the children not also have the right to the same standard for teaching them the truths of a moral and righteous life? How else are they to face the future without becoming another lost generation?
America has never had a tie to religion; she has always had freedom from the controls of a state religion of any sort, in order to embrace the truth of the God of truth. Let us give the children back their lives, so that they, in turn, can pass on a life culture to future generations, and make this once great nation, great again, as she dons a crown of glory from the King, Himself.
