Karl Marx said, “Religion is the opium of the people”, often translated as “the opiate of the people”. It could be said that it is the spiritual drug used to feel good by those suffering from a ‘disconnect’ from God, who created all things good within His Garden Paradise. Man disconnected from God when he chose to listen and embrace the first lies of religion, which, at that moment, caused him to disconnect from the truth forever and put himself in the open arms of death. Religion was, and is to this day, the problem, and not the answer for man’s inability to restore peace to this world. Only the peace, which comes from the Word of God, will ever restore the lost relationship.
We, in the true church, and those who were at the heart of the founding of the two constitutions of the two nations of America have held dearly to the Mosaic Law as being the basis for our moral code of goodness and perfect justice. Justice is a relative thing in man’s world, but not in a nation ruled by God. There can be only one God, one set of laws and one justice system based on His moral code of the Law. These are not values; these are unbreakable standards based on the absolutes of God’s Word.
One can never buy one’s way into heaven; it only comes by embracing the truth of who Jesus is, as the One who declared Himself to be the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (see John 14:6). We, as the believers, are called to be a light to the world and to spread the gospels of truth to every nation. The government, the schoolrooms and every court in this land should function in perfect harmony with God’s moral code of truth found only in His Word.
Our citizens should be building a spiritual wall around our borders, which requires allegiance to our God and country, allowing no religion to have any rights over the truth of His Word. Within the public sector He, alone, is Ruler over the land and allows no other gods before Him, claiming the nation for Himself.
Do our presidents and prime ministers not have to swear on the Bible to uphold the Law of the land? If it is required for our leaders to do so, knowing the Bible to be the only truth, then why in the world would we allow cultic forces with their foreign gods to come into this country and take such truths away from our children because religion is making demands to have those rights? Religion and truth are at the opposite ends of the pole from each other.
So very basic to kingdom living and eternal life is the deep understanding of the difference between truth and religion. Many good people, better described as well-intentioned believers, for none is good, are purporting to have the answers, but they are as far from the truth as they can be. They claim the truth but do not have the understanding of the Word, while clinging to religion for a lifeboat in the seawaters rather than clinging to the rock-solid foundation of the true apostolic church.
Jesus founded His church and would never allow any Babylonian empire, such as Rome, to rename her, especially using a mocking term, which was first used in Antioch, in a Roman province. Do today’s believers not know that any religious system, which comes out of the Babylonian empires is resting on a foundation of the lies, which first were heard coming from the mouth of the serpent in the Garden of Eden? They were the lies of progressive liberalism from the truth of God and the foundation for the death cults of this world. It was here that cultism was given birth by the mother of all harlots in rebellion to God, called Babylon the Great.
Who were Adam and Eve to believe? Could they not have both good and religion together? Would God really drive them from the Garden and leave them to die? Well, there are a lot of good people today who believe they can be both of the Christian church, which is not church at all, but rather thoroughly religion, through and through, and still be of the true church at the same time. But God has clearly stated that there will be no seawaters, no temple and no liars in the kingdom ever, no, not ever.
Adam and Eve were deceived by the lies of the devil, and millions upon millions are being deceived today by strong believers preaching apostasy as they attempt to define religion. They are at the heart of what I call religious, evangelical Christianity, with a powerful heart for Jesus, but perhaps a bit too much like a Martha, much too busy, busy, busy to have the time to sit like Mary to receive the best thing at the feet of the master Teacher, Jesus. At the same time, these busy beavers ignore the fact that they cannot combine good and evil, truth and religion, without possibly paying the very great price of sharing in the sin of rebellion for eating the fruit of the forbidden tree.
If one seeks the testimony of Jesus given in the spirit of prophecy and one thinks one can remain in a religious death trap created by Rome, a part of the Babylonian system of empires, which took the true church captive, one is greatly mistaken. For that same one does not understand that the mother of all harlots is Babylon the Great, which birthed Christianity in the fourth century A.D., the same Babylon, which birthed the religion of Judaism along with all the other religions of the world, including Islam, Communism, Secular Humanism and any other cult one can think of.
Put on your thinking caps, people! When did Jesus ever call His church the Christian church? What did He do to find His fishers of men? He raised up John the Baptist, in the line of a double inheritance on both his mother and his father’s side, to the high priest office of the Levitical priesthood, calling God’s people to be baptized and make straight the way to the kingdom. Jesus, who was never acceptable within the religious priesthood, said that He was the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except by Him. To the contrary, the high priests of Judaism were Roman appointees at the time and were not of the Levitical priesthood at all. There had been a definite change in the nature of the priesthood.
Yet as we consider the baptism of Jesus, He never had any need of baptism for He was a Man with none of the sinful spiritual waters of religion in Him. He was baptized for the very reason He said – to fulfill all righteousness.
John the Baptist was about to hand over the reins of the legitimate high priest line to the legitimate King of kings and Lord of lords. He was about to crossover the reins of the Levitical priesthood to the true Son of inheritance of the throne of David in the line of Judah. In Jesus, the royal crown of David was established and there was no longer a curse upon the woman born into the line of Mary through the Seed of the woman by the Spirit of God. They would be purified and redeemed for her, the mother-in-law of the church of the Redeemer, which was about to give birth to new creations in the Spirit.
Just as Boaz, the redeemer, bought and paid the redeemer price for Ruth, his bride and foreigner as a Moabitess in the nation of Israel, Jesus would pay the Redeemer’s price on the cross for His bride, likewise a foreigner in the house of Israel. Ruth’s child would then receive the inheritance of her mother-in-law, Naomi, whom she had never forsaken, which would lead directly to the throne of David.
Jesus would pay the redeemer’s price fully on the cross for His bride who would come from out of all the nations of the world as the faithful and obedient who trusted in the name of the Lord, going all the way back to Adam. Surely this is at the very heart of the covenant promise to Abraham in whom Jesus said that all the families of the nations would be blessed. The bride of Christ, birthing in the Spirit, would also provide a line for Mary, her mother-in-law, leading directly to the throne of David, as did Ruth.
Jesus announced clearly that the religious Pharisees of Judaism were children of the devil (see John 8:44), and John the Baptist, calling to make straight the way, asked them what they were doing coming to him. That which he had to offer they had rejected believing that He could not possibly have anything for them. John was actually offering a gift of mercy, which would provide a way back to life for the lost condition of mankind.
It would require a complete removal of oneself from the dark waters of this world blackened and muddied by religion, but it must be a complete withdrawal, for just one drop of the black ink of religion will spread throughout the water, like leaven growing in a loaf of bread, to destroy the purity of the water. How then is it possible for the evangelists of this world to make altar calls to those who want to receive Jesus and the Spirit of God, only to send them back to the apostate, religious system of Christianity with all its impurities?
If only Jesus can save at the baptismal font is it even possible to go off the straight way of the truth of Jesus to make detours and side trips onto the broad road of destruction? God said that the day man should eat even one mouthful of the fruit of the cultic lies of Satan, it would be like the asp bite of a deadly snake for which there would be no cure. Very famous evangelists have been well known for sending their converts, once having received Jesus into their lives, right back to their religious systems to face the apostate asp bite once again.
The price of sin has been paid once on the cross and there is no further recourse in the court of God’s Law. Separation of God’s people from the religious cults is what is required to remain on the narrow way to the kingdom. This is the conclusion of Balaam when he sees into the latter days and the rise of the star of Jesus.
Revelation 1:20 tells us that the seven stars of the church are held in the power of His right hand. Revelation, chapter 12, also tells us that the woman is crowned in the royal crown of the 12 stars of the apostolic church and house of Israel. Such a path is always straight and on it are no crossroads or curves leading back to the crooked broad road of religion. Yes Balaam saw it all as the women and cults of Baal of Peor intermingled and the cultic women joined with the men of Israel. Are they not the leaders of the people whom God told Moses to take out and hang in the sun and then kill everyone who was joined to Peor? How many Christian, so-called churches today are joined to the culture of these modern-day men of a modern-day Baal?
The truth of God’s goodness never allowed for a combination of the goodness of His glory to be mixed with the deadly lies of religion. For God warned Moses when he wanted to see His glory that he could never see the brightness of His face lest he be consumed. He could see His glory pass by only from His back after Moses had been placed in the cleft of the Rock, that of his salvation by the only Rock who could restore a perfect relationship for him with the Father. How could anyone want to muddy the cleansed waters ever again to open wide the gates of hell and an eternity with the father of the liars of progressive liberalism?
It is going to come as a complete shock when those who have trusted in that great harlot of Babylon see her go down with all that glitter of the world sinking out of sight until there is nothing but darkness where her great iron boat once floated on the surface of the seawater. Will the richest of men not go down with the poorest of men having no class distinction between them? The elite of the swamp creatures will go side by side with the homeless street creatures, which they oppressed.
Jesus died to pay the price of sin before the court of God’s perfect justice in all the pain and suffering sin has caused mankind. You cannot have both Him and the religion of Satan too. Let me repeat – “Come out of her, the mother of all living, Babylon the Great, or face the risk of sharing in her sin and receiving of her plagues, which come with the judgment upon sin in the rebellion of religion (see Revelation 18:4).”
“The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ And every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ And they threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate (Revelation 18:15-19).’”
There was one religious Pharisee upon whom God had His eye. He belonged in the temple of the false priesthood and was as busy a little beaver as could be, thinking he was serving God. He was running here and there doing everything he thought possible to stamp out the enemy of God, which he believed to be a cult. Had he not heard this disciple of Jesus called Stephen give a challenge to the religious Pharisees and a call for them to come into the truth claiming the Scriptures for evidence of the truth of what he was saying?
How dare this Stephen challenge a man such as Saul, a Pharisee of Pharisees, taught by the best of them! Was Saul not then a Jew of Israel, the nation responsible for writing the Scriptures, which Stephen had quoted? How dare he try to bring this cultic leader, called Jesus, and His cult in among the true Hebrew children of God?
Now, the Lord loved the vim and vigor of this Pharisee called Saul, who would need a very strong encounter with the Lord of light to remove the serpentine scales of religion from his eyes, which held him tightly captive in the spiritual blindness, which religion causes. Most certainly, he needed the process of John’s baptism, but Saul would rather see John dead than submit to him.
Those who are deceived by religion have no idea they are busy beavers, busy serving the very thing, which causes sinful rebellion to God. One must understand the river waters to even know what baptism is about. It is not meant to take you out of the spiritual river waters of religion and then send you back into them as even the most famous of evangelists have done by sending their victims back to the religious organizations from which they have come, yes, even the very synagogues from which they had come to hear truth, in place of religion, or so they hoped. How could they know when the evangelists, themselves, do not know the difference between them?
The tent meetings, the rallies and yes, sometimes even the conferences, from what I can surmise, produce a whole lot of busy beavers who, like Martha, want us working for the cause of Jesus but without time to actually sit at His feet and allow Him to open the scrolls of truth, which only He, Jesus, can do. He offers the straight, covenant way to the kingdom, if they could only find time away from being like Martha’s to sit like Mary at His feet, choosing the best thing as He opens the understanding of the scrolls for those who have time to listen, and ears to hear. Who else could the apostle John find to open the scrolls, as he received the testimony of Jesus in a revelation? He doesn’t make it difficult for His bride, the elect lady, whom the same apostle John addresses, while longing to be in her company one day (see the book of 2 John).
Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding (Proverbs 23:23).
How do we buy truth? We do so in pain and suffering. The cost of truth was at the center of the pain Jesus would endure on the cross. I wonder how He would look upon the sale of that which He has so freely given us today. Perhaps that is why He was so angry with the money-changers at the tables, which He over-threw right there in the courtyard of the temple.
There is no temple in heaven for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. It is the tabernacle of God, which is with men in the new heaven and new earth. Did God not give the wealth and gold of Egypt to His people before asking for a donation from it toward building the tabernacle? Is it not always by choice how we decide to be stewards of our money? In other words, God asks us to decide how much we are able and willing to pay for a right to share in the benefits of the tabernacle.
Let us look at Abraham and the offering he gave to Melchizedek, the king of Salem who is a type of Jesus offering the marriage communion as a commitment for His bride. He, like Jesus, was the priest of the God Most High. Abraham had just saved Lot, the adopted child of his brother, from the kings of the surrounding nations and had refused to take anything that was theirs as the spoils of war, for he had lifted his hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth. Instead of giving of spoils, that is to say, a set price or tithe of the money of this world, he gave him a tithe of all. This translates into giving all of himself, for he had nothing else to give the king of Salem (Jesus, Ruler over JeruSALEM).
It is for the bride to give her all, having lifted her hand to the Lord, and become the witness to Him as the final voice of the Abrahamic covenant, just as Abraham responded as the first voice to the first communion ever offered in the person of Melchizedek. This will align with the seventh thunder of Revelation in the last days of the sounding of the seventh angel, and when he is just about to sound, the mystery of God will be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. In purity, the bride will give her all with no charge for her blessing she has so mercifully been given.

It is our choice. We can come out of the rat race and away from the swamp creatures any day we so choose. We have the freedom to choose for ourselves, but religion has no religious rights in this land of America where God rules. He rules by truth – His Word and King. The Bible is the King over America and there shall be no gods and their cults beside Him.
How is it that a false church has allowed the Bible to be taken away from our children, yet has no problem with businesses providing public prayer rooms for Muslims in the work force? At the same time, the Christians take advantage of the free vote in God’s liberty to keep progressive liberalism alive and active in the nation in which it shouts “No God” from the peanut gallery of progressive liberalism, wanting none of the God who has blessed and made this nation great.
So be it, unless the people come to know the difference between truth and religion and recall the Bible so there will be a return to the truth, as Ruler over this Land. It is by God’s moral law that the people will be judged. The truth is His moral compass for judgment, set upon the foundation of His Law. A life society has a totally different moral standard from that of the cults of death. God is intolerant, not tolerant, of the gods of religious cults and for such there are no rights, or have there ever been such among His people who are required to keep His Law in this, His Land, as the true Jew. This preserves the liberty, which He has bestowed upon us.
God blesses only those who are on the way back to the kingdom from the paradise lost in the Garden. It is a seven-millennial journey and exodus of people who are the true church and priesthood of God, the revived apostolic church of Jesus Christ, which is founded on the Rock and not on religion at all.
There are plagues about to come upon those who are not ready in the purity of truth to enter into the kingdom. The rivers of the empires are contaminated with false gods and the water will be changed to blood as the floods roll in over the earth in massive tidal waves. The plagues on the Egyptians were merely the pattern of things to come in the latter days. They are far from over and just about to begin anew, as the kingdom is seen like a bright light just over the horizon from the darkness on this side.
Get understanding, my friends! Baptism is all about a changing of the spiritual waters in our lives. They are the waters from above of truth and not the waters from beneath of religion, which will provide those pure white garments needed for the wedding feast of the Lamb.
And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. And whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen (Revelation 22:17-21).
Religion can only provide the corrupted waters from beneath; the pure water from above comes from the pierced side of Jesus where the blood flows. If you do not understand this, then you will never understand the baptism of John, of whom God said there was no greater prophet born of woman than he. God was saying, “Get ready, make yourself clean for, like Judas, you will never be clean as long as you double-deal with the religious priesthood. My cup gives you the water of life, which I have always offered only at the well where I have sought to find My bride as the comparable partner for My inheritance. It is the symbol of My shed blood, which I offer you, My church, in the communion cup.”
Only He can provide the grain for her, as He provided for Joseph of the crossover blessing, to feed his brothers before the river meets the Dead Sea. It is here the bride of the crossover blessing, like Joseph, will offer the grain to brothers and sisters as well.
The house of Israel is full at this, the time of the fullness of the gentiles. At the same time, the woman of Revelation, chapter 12, enters upon the world scene having had the King extend His scepter to her to become His voice. She has made her wedding vows by accepting from Him the Communion. It is no simple religious experience but rather one, which should be taken very seriously indeed. It has become a sham performed more as a religious procedure than what it really is, in most of the so-called, Christian churches of our day. As has Jerusalem, they have become like Sodom and Egypt.
