The normal rating for a movie today usually states something to the effect that the material shown has sexually explicit content, contains violence and strong language and is unsuitable for young children. At the very best it will indicate that parental guidance is required.
What in the world is the matter with our society that we cannot find any form of entertainment, which does not require such warnings regarding its content? When did we allow our nation to reach this low level of moral depravity where adult filth must be aired for adult enjoyment at the expense of innocent children? Is the situation such that we, as adults, are so engrossed in evil today that we care more about our own enjoyment than the welfare of our little ones?
What happened to Lassie and Father Knows Best? Could it be that there are no fathers around who care for their sons and daughters, with the mothers being too tired just making ends meet to have any energy left to care for the needs of their developing children?
Are we giving families the message that, as adults, we are not entertained unless we are watching material that should be thrown on the moral garbage dump? Perhaps the worst part about this is that the children see we are entertained by sexual immorality, we love to watch violence and murder, and filthy language rolls off our backs like water off the back of a duck.
Such so-called entertainment is found not only in theatres, but also in our homes, and can be accessed by children any hour of the day or night. If parental guidance is required, one would be hard-pressed to find parents at home during that crucial time of day when children are watching television.
When the entertainment business of television first invaded our homes, there was not one single program that required warnings for children. There were strict laws, which legislated the moral boundaries of acceptable content with no concern whatsoever for those who wanted to destroy the moral fiber of this nation under God’s Law. There was never the hint of foul language and no one, without exception was allowed to take the name of the Lord God in vain.
Society on the whole honored God in its day to day life and within the family circle. Preserving moral principles was so important that the movie industry forbade even married couples from being shown in bed together. Such was considered a private matter and the public did not have the right to intrude upon the privacy of the bedroom where it did not belong.
There was an enormous need for responsibility and accountability on the part of Hollywood. Movie producers and script writers became both teachers and direction-setters for what would come to be perceived by this country, and the rest of the world, as the American way.
Liberalism has slowly eroded our American values, which were seen by the entire world, most of which had no such values under pagan religious laws. It was only when we introduced the law of rights, as opposed to the law of obedience to righteousness, that socio-moral limitations were eroded and problems began to develop. We slowly transformed into a nation that said everyone had the right to do whatever one wanted, that is to say, all except those who stood for preserving God’s Law with its limitations and freedoms protecting the majority, rather than enabling the religious minorities.
Government in America, under constitutional law is required to represent the wishes of the people and to honor and uphold them. It begins with the principle that the people know better than government as to what is best for themselves. This, being the basis for a democratic society, is now being treated as the law of bigots, those who refuse to relinquish what our constitutions sought to protect in the way of liberty and freedom within boundaries set for the good of all. A leap has taken place by the American people to embrace religious rights instead of the truth of God’s Word upon which justice in this land was established. This is at the root of what separated America from the other nations of the world under religious/state law.
We have come to the point where we, a nation under God, now endorse religious fanatics and murderers under the new man-made law of political correctness, which claims that murderers’ rights must be protected lest we offend our murderers and profile them in a way, which would help to identify them. We say that every sexual pervert has the right to expression at the expense of the rights of children to be protected from such perversion. Even children’s daytime cartoons, and supposedly programs of comic relief, have become hot-beds of political propaganda for the left and its liberalism. These do not, but should, contain warnings regarding mind-manipulation and moral pollution of our children.
How is it we are so dumbed-down that we cannot require more from our elected government representatives, at whom we should be screaming our heads off for provision to be made within our laws to protect our children? This is how Satan works by setting in motion the slow but steady process of dulling the mind to wickedness until we accept it without any noticeable opposition. It is the method of religious liberalism, which, in fact, is a flesh-eating disease, which destroys body and mind.
God merely removes Himself and His hand of protection from His people, knowing that Satan ultimately will destroy those who choose to follow his broad road to destruction. These same dumbed-down fools will be the first to cry out, “Where is God when bad things happen to good people?” Unless we reclaim our children now, not later, it will be too late to save them. We already have a lost generation, which will only be capable of producing more lost generations.
Action is required to stem the direction and reverse the flow of evil from flowing into the nation to being ushered straight out of it. Unless we put the wall of truth back up in this land and charge against the wall of liberalism and religious voodooism with the sword of truth, then America will become just another Haiti, as God leaves man to his own idolatry and rebellion. The increase of natural disasters in the world is, and will continue to be, directly proportionate to the increase of sin in the world. You will notice how we have been witnessing disasters in the sinful hotspots of the world, such as California, South Asia, New Orleans and now Haiti.
Only a fool listens to Gore and the liberal take on environmental problems instead of to God, the Creator and the absolute Authority on the matter. Band-aid the children and deal with the mess and chaos the disaster causes if you will, but it is too late for those ones whose lives have been destroyed. Make changes and deal with the root causes of the problem and there might be hope of saving other children before similar disasters overtake them.
The children of America are on the same path at the moment, caught in the occultism ruling in the government of this land, as were the young victims of Haitian voodooism before the earthquake struck. The increasing number of earthquakes and other natural disasters, prophesied in the Bible to occur at this time, hurt the unprotected innocents of society along with their wicked rulers.
Wake up America and take back your lost children from the raiders of the cradle before it is too late!
