Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

Mankind is in a very fast race for life on a very narrow way indeed. It is a treacherous route where one wrong move could take man over the wall to his instant death. One cannot look back to the Winter Olympics at Whistler without vivid memories of the luger shooting up into the air and over the wall. It was a picture of just how treacherous the course of man will be and the speed with which he is hurtling toward destruction. The outcome of the race is a life and death matter.
There are two torches burning in this world and two very different carriers. One is the torch of life and liberty carried for God, and the other is the counterfeit Olympic torch, which is carried for the gods of this world. All of God’s people are called to light a torch and carry it high for God for all to see liberty in Him. They are called to run the good race, led by the Spirit of life from within.
The Olympic torch is not for all, but rather is carried by a representative from the host nation, for it is a torch belonging to the nations of the world.
All nations before Him are as nothing, and they are counted by Him less than nothing and worthless. To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him? The workman molds a graven image, the goldsmith overspreads it with gold, and the silversmith casts silver chains (Isaiah 40:17-19).
Did God not create the nations? Indeed, He did, for the purpose of dividing and scattering the enemy over the face of the earth. This would keep the power of Satan at bay in a world without unity, until God would collect His own into His own spiritual nation.
When His latter day apostolic true church is gathered together from out of all the nations as spiritual Israel, then He shall release His control upon the nations to allow them to come together again into one religious/state like the city of Babel, which was unified before He dispersed her people. This is called the Revived Roman Empire, the last and final empire of that religious/state system of Babylon.
The Antichrist, as the Caesar of the final empire, will rule over a world of ten divisions, divided like the toes of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream statue, yet, all under the ruler-ship of a one world government, a one world economic system and one big, world religious system. He shall be the one ruling over all while carrying the counterfeit torch, which has no spiritual light in it or power to dispel spiritual darkness. It will be because of spiritual blindness that men will have no ability to see or comprehend the light.
Rather than a visible race, it is a spiritual race against time, as the time-clock ticks away the minutes to midnight. It is a spiritual battle in which man is caught with the rewards not found under the weight of the gold and silver of this world, which are like chains around the neck. The rewards are stored up in heaven for those who have escaped the broad road of getting and spending, seeking after the riches of the gold, the silver and the bronze of this world until they go to their graves, unable to take it with them.
Job was the perfect example of a very sick man indeed who forsook the torch of the gods of this world to gain the torch of life and understanding. Job described perfectly to his friend, Zophar, the state of mankind when he said, “They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. Yet they say to God, ‘Depart from us, for we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways. Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?’ Indeed their prosperity is not in their hand; the counsel of the wicked is far from me (Job 21:13-16).”
The people of America spend their days in getting and spending, drugged and drunken, occupied with the mindless pastime of television sports and soaps, unaware that the clock is ticking. The liberty of America is crumbling around them for lack of torch carriers. The Olympic torch crossed this country of Canada claiming its inhabitants for the gods of Olympus without a whimper from God’s people. In fact, he was a man of the cloth, supposedly one of Christ’s representatives, who took up the torch of Olympus to proudly carry it partway along the road to destruction.
Do today’s men of the cloth have any earthly idea at all about what the smoking oven and the burning torch of Abraham’s dream speak prophetically? You cannot have it both ways and think that you can carry the burning torch of the light of liberty to the world and carry another torch by another name, if indeed it were at all possible to serve two masters at the same time. One torch carrier is in the race of the righteous and the other, in the race of the rebellious wicked, which leads to the smoking oven. What did we see in Hitler’s Germany, if not the smoking oven prophecy being fulfilled?
“How often is the lamp of the wicked put out? How often does their destruction come upon them, the sorrows God distributes in His anger? They are like straw before the wind, and like chaff that a storm carries away (Job 21:17-18).”
Foolish America, the storm is brewing while our Caesars are fiddling away. They are lighting the fires, which are causing America to burn, with Schwarzenegger running a close second to the head honcho, Obama, the chief firebugs of America. Our leaders everywhere are as little men running about the country with torches lighting flames of destruction. And still they fiddle while the couch potatoes take to their couches for sports and soaps. The preachers hide behind their pulpits, exchanging tax dollar exemptions for bribes, while, at the same time lulling the pew sitters to sleep with their smooth talk.
The torch of Lady Liberty is fast fading away with darkness spreading across the entire world. America was once the light that prevented the darkness when God ruled a people who briefly carried His torch of liberty for Him. But then, they looked to the idols of the nations, who asked to join with them. In fact, America said to the Union of Nations – “Come spread your skirts in our country.” Now the united nations of the world tell America to give up her God so she can be fully one of them, worshiping their gods and keeping their holidays.
And so, at this time, the lights are quickly going out all over the world, with the last ones being dimmed in America. Put up all the wind turbines you wish, but they will not keep the lights of America going. Dismantle and squelch the truth and you will put out the Light of the World. As the Gentleman the Lord is, He will merely reply, “Have it your way!”
And then the Lord will depart, but not without His own who have run the good race like the apostle Paul and have taken up the torch of liberty from him to carry it the rest of the way to the finish line.
