If it were the Israel of God …
June 02, 2011
If it were the Israel of God, dwelling back in the land today, then the prophecy of Ezekiel would be fulfilled. He records that God had scattered the Jews among the nations in judgment, for God saw them as profaning His holy name. The nations wondered at them being the people of the Lord, when they no longer possessed the land.
As a result of concern for His holy name, the Lord God will sanctify it within the nations, before their eyes. This will happen only by means of the new covenant in Jesus, which the nation Israel never accepted nor does the nation Israel, created by the United Nations, accept to this day.
When the house of Israel of the new covenant is returned to Israel as the true Jew described by Paul (Romans 2:28-29), then she will be cleansed from all her filthiness of religion and all her idols. This will be an Israel, with a new heart and with the Spirit of the living God within her (Pentecost), walking in the Lord’s Law. Not before she is purified and a part of the new covenant, will the house of Israel dwell in the land given to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, her spiritual fathers, with spiritual Israel being God’s people and He, their God (see Ezekiel 36:19-28).
If Israel, which dwells in the land today, were, in fact, this prophesied return of the true Jew, then God would have to negate the truth of His Word, which declares exactly who His Son, Jesus, is. Jesus is not at all central to the return of those who call themselves Jews in the nation, today, but are not Jews.
Without Jesus and the Word of the New Testament, it is impossible for the Israel of today to be the Israel of God, which includes both the blessing of Ephraim and the blessing of the new covenant. The crossover blessing of Jacob upon the sons of Joseph is the Ephraim blessing that speaks of the crossover blessing, which must take place at the cross changing Israel’s lineage to a spiritual one.
It is not by bloodline, but by faith and obedience that one enters with Abraham into the promise of salvation and into the house of Israel’s inheritance. It is only on the day that Israel is cleansed of her iniquities that she will be able to dwell in the cities with the ruins rebuilt (see Ezekiel 36:33).
There is no safety in any of the cities today in that piece of land called Israel, as designated by the United Nations. It is still under judgment within the Babylonian system (Rome, being the last of the empires with which God is not yet finished). Hence, there is no safe rebuilding in her cities in the land today.
Yet, God’s promise is to the contrary, that He will enable His own to dwell in the cities and rebuild them. At this point one will be able to say that the land, which was desolate, shall become like the Garden of Eden, and the ruined cities will then, and only then, be fortified and inhabited (see Ezekiel 36:35).
I ask you, “Does the Israel we know in the land today bear any resemblance to the Garden of Eden where man was created in the image of the pluralistic God (Our image), and was walking with God?” There is absolutely no evidence of this God ruling over the nation Israel – a God, who includes Jesus, the Son, along with the Father and the Holy Spirit, whose pluralistic nature is revealed to us in Genesis.
Certainly the Christian institutional church shows no evidence of the cleansing of which Ezekiel is speaking here, any more than the nation. Ezekiel’s prophecy has simply not come to fruition yet. The dry bones have not been resurrected in today’s nation, as the whole house of Israel and God’s people have not had the Spirit placed back in that nation to cause the Israel of God to live again.
The purity will most definitely include the removal of all association with the religions of Judaism and Christianity from the true church. They are both religions rooted in Babylon, with the religion of Christianity coming out of the Roman Empire, the final empire of the Babylonian system, and the religion of Judaism coming back directly to Judah with the captives from Babylon to remain captive until the end of the final Roman Empire. Only a pure church and a purified spiritual nation of Israel shall return to inherit the land.
At this point in time, when Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom, it shall be like the Garden with a wall of truth separating the people of God from the religious lies of the serpent and his liberalism. Then, the pure water of the Pishon shall flow separately from the impure spiritual river waters of the empires (see Genesis 2:10-14), which were bent on a One World Order and an empire under Satan. All nations shall participate in it including the Israel of the U.N. and America, the land over which God once ruled from sea to sea and which trusted only in Him and had no other gods before Him.
Both the nation by bloodline and the spiritual nation of the church, each and every one, must pass through the cross to become the whole house of Israel. This means that Judah, the children of Israel and her companions, and Joseph, the crossover blessing of Ephraim and his companions, will blend together in the new covenant of Jesus and the two shall become joined as one stick in the hand of the Lord Jesus Christ (see Ezekiel 37:16-17).
The stick of Ezekiel is like the power stick held in the hand of Moses, which will part the spiritual seawaters to allow God’s people to possess the kingdom. When this happens it will mean the closure to the Garden is opened, and man can return to once again eat of the tree of life separated from him by sin.
Then, and only then, shall Israel dwell in her own land in safety and without famine. Such a nation will have the lampstand over it and never the star of Remphan (Moloch) on her flag (see Jeremiah 25:9-12). Such a star never was the Star of David, nor would he have allowed such apostasy to define Israel (see Acts 7:43).
“Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God (Ezekiel 37:21-23).”’”
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever (Psalm 37:29).
