The Great Falling Away

June 20, 2011

The United States of America and the united provinces of Canada have shared in their great bond as free nations under God, with the truth of the Bible the underpinning that has supported them and bonded them together in liberty. Families have often been split between the two nations with barely any recognition of a border dividing them. The American way has, in fact, meant the North American way, to include these two countries.

The great falling away is changing all of that, as the religious system within America begins to pack up the cross in the name of Christian to join with that cross-hating religion called Islam. Together, they are becoming known as Chrislam, with truth once again being nailed to the cross.

Should this be a surprise to anyone? I don’t think so, for though they refer to biblical Christianity, over and over again, Christianity is, in fact, not biblical in any way. It really has nothing at all to do with the church, which Jesus Christ brought into being. Christianity is Babylonian, through and through, which is the only reason it so easily will join with another Babylonian, religious system, which, like it, has the number of 666 written all over it.

The pagan practices of the final Babylonian empire of Rome are at the root of Christianity. It was in the Roman-held territory of Antioch where the mocking term of Christian was first used to slight the followers of the Way and the believers in Jesus. As the power of the Roman Empire began to wane, it seemed like a propitious move to unify that which Rome considered to be a growing sect in numbers of believers called the Way with the pagan practices of Rome and its pagan high priest, who, henceforth, would become known as the pope. It was hoped that this would assure a strong, unifying, religious force from within the Empire to hold it together. In fact, it became the glue, which would hold the Early Roman Empire to the latter-day Revived Roman Empire.

And so, the Caesar, Constantine, after having a mystical experience surrounding the appearance of a cross, latched onto this so-called sect known as the Way and applied it to his version of religion.  He put it all together to create one grand Roman package and, lo and behold, we have the birth of a new religious system, which stole the name of ‘Church’. Satan had done it again, and would manage to deceive centuries of future generations about the truth of God’s Word, just as he had so easily deceived Eve in the Garden.

With Eve, he established the first religious system with the lies of liberalism, which brought separation from the truth of God. With Christianity, he again established the lies of liberalism as the foundation for the false church, which would deceive the world regarding the nature of the true church of Jesus Christ. For centuries now, including the ones known as the dark ages, the true church has been kept in a comatose state and held captive within the religious tomb of Christianity, where Satan has compromised the truth with religion.

The true apostolic church had a revival of sorts, as it made an attempt to extricate itself from Romanism, but it never fully made the break from the Nicolaitan system of the priesthood and its program for building buildings and for divisive denominations. This took the place of building a mobile church on the wheels of the Spirit, with the wheel within the wheel of Jesus who directs its movement. For wherever and whenever the cherubim led, the wheels would go, for the Spirit of the living creature was in them.

This was a vision given to the prophet Ezekiel, which, in turn, gives us a message and vision for the true church that goes straight forward and does not get locked into buildings. It functions within the temple of the body, which then is full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory. For it is the temple of man, to which Jesus imparts His fire of passion for the truth, the same fire that will burn up religion and the lie in the Day of the Lord, when He returns (see Ezekiel, chapter 10).

Are these not the same cherubim, Michelangelo painted in his masterpiece on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel, the private chapel of the pagan priest of Rome, renamed the pope? Were they not surrounding the virtuous woman, the bride of the church, whom God was holding back from man, awaiting the appearance of the Man clothed in linen? He would go out with a passion for truth to be imparted to His believers who would, in turn, have a passion for the cross, with a fire burning within them. They would become the disseminators of truth, concerning the cross of salvation, while, at the same time, hating the religion, which God so hates; for it has always been the destructive tool of the antichrist spirit.

The apostle Paul, perhaps the greatest apostle of them all, reached out his finger to connect with the Lord God when He revealed His glory to him. The Lord followed this by reaching out His finger of power and extending it to Paul. As they touched, in an instant the religion fell away from his eyes like the scales belonging to the serpent of religion, which had blinded him to the truth and kept him from understanding, that is to say, up until this point in his life. He had been fully engrossed in man’s religious rebellion of the Garden but it all changed when the wheel within the wheel imparted the embers of fire into him, which created a passion for the truth.

So, Paul spoke not only to the Thessalonians of his day, but also to us as well today, concerning the Day of the coming again of our Lord and the great falling away that must precede it. Make no mistake about it, He is going to return soon or there would be nothing left of a world under the destructive control of Satan. The New Testament mentions this Day 318 times, more than it mentions any other doctrine.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:3-12).
