An Earth that is not Consumed
May 28, 2012
Consider the wonder of it all – the perfection of the sun and the earth – the one in relationship to the other, with an earth that is not consumed by the fire of the sun. Is it happenstance that caused this, like a great burp of a gaseous universe, which coughed up a perfect creation out of the many trillions, upon trillions, of possibilities for imperfection?
There is no other possibility of relationship between the sun and the earth other than the one, which exists, whereby the earth is not consumed by the fire of the sun, nor becomes a blob of frozen ice from lack of sufficient heat. We could call it global warming or global cooling, whichever the case might be, by taking it to the extremes with one ever so slight change of temperature going in either direction. Regardless of direction, it would result in no possibility for life on earth without the perfect conditions that presently exist in the relationship between the earth and the sun.
Certain scientists and I disagree upon the source for this perfect relationship. I have never been given any concrete evidence of any sort for their theory of happenstance and the colossal burp of a gaseous universe. Yet, it is incredible how man is so ready to believe tripe when he will not believe the truth of God’s perfectly validated Word by perfect self-validating prophecy.
It is our guide for life along the way back to the kingdom, as opposed to following the broad road, which leads to destruction. We only have to look at the news to see destruction and death being played out daily in the East, the land to which God drove sinful man from the Garden of creation.
What is it that keeps the sun, as an all-consuming fire, from burning up the earth, if not the hand of God who placed it in that one perfect place, at the moment He said, “Let there be light”? But man did not heed the voice of God and preferred the darkness to the light. He chose very unwisely indeed and, to this day, he plays the blame game asking why God allows bad things to happen to good people. And just who is it who is good?
God gave the rules for good things to happen, but foolish man rejected the most wonderful and most incredible gift one could ever receive, the gift of life, for the lusts of the flesh. Satan knows well the weakness of the flesh, by which means God allows him to test us in this wilderness of the world. It is a test to determine the hearts of man, separating those who seek the kingdom here on earth, from those wanting a finite life lived in the flesh in a world leading to death. The kingdom of the universe is an awesome inheritance, which God offers to man and does not hand out undeservedly.
He has given the perfect, prophetic evidence of His masterful creation, which is responsible for the perfect relationship between the consuming fire of the sun and the earth, which is not consumed by it. One needs to turn to Exodus, chapters 3 and 4, and to the perfect witness of God’s power over matter and over the consuming fire of the sun; “For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24).”
Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law and pagan priest, Jethro, on Mount Horeb, the mountain of God. There, the Angel of the Lord, the pre-incarnate Son of God, the brilliant light, the Shepherd of God and the consuming fire, infinitely more powerful than that of the sun, appeared to Moses in the flame of fire in the midst of a bush that was not consumed. Here we have the perfect picture of how an earth corrupted by sin worthy only of the burning of the sun, so perfectly placed by God in relationship to His creation, is going to be redeemed. Only the Shepherd of heaven will redeem it and save His sheep from the fire of judgment. He will be given His brother/sister to be His prophet and voice to speak for Him, in the most crucial of times, when Satan and his armies are about to be destroyed by the consuming fire of God’s wrath.
The call went forth from God for the leadership of the Shepherd and His amazing rod, or staff of life. It could have been the angel of the Lord, called Lucifer, until corruption was found in him and he was cast to the earth to become Satan, that serpent of old. God cast him from heaven for his sinful, prideful, rebellious ways, sending Jesus to earth in his place. Jesus was His true Son of light, who would take hold of that serpent by the tail and, in so doing, return the rod of life to the hand of the Good Shepherd, so that the righteous would not be consumed who trusted in Him. Still, would they believe Him?
God gave Moses another sign, whereby He commanded him to put his hand in his bosom, which would reveal exactly what a heart of fleshly lusts does to the flesh as it becomes leprous in a sickness leading to death. Yet, when he returned his hand to his bosom and had a new heart for God, he was healed of the flesh-eating disease. He was restored or redeemed, as is God going to redeem a world corrupted by sin and lust.
Yes, Virginia, there is global warming coming, but from the heat of God’s wrath caused by man, when he destroyed the perfect relationship between the light of the world, which knew no darkness, and a world, which brought darkness back upon itself with its accompanying sickness of the flesh unto death. Man could not be fruitful in the spiritual state of Adam, due to the sin of this same, first man, created from the dust of the earth. The fruit of the Spirit would come through Jesus, begotten of the very Spirit of God and of life, which was the same Spirit of life lost by man to sin.
So, is God going to destroy the earth by allowing the sun to move out of its place and consume it with a burning fire, like a bush that burns and is consumed? The answer is “yes”, but not before the eighth and new day when God will have separated the spiritual seeds of righteousness and planted them within new bodies of the universe. Then His fire will consume this earth to replace it with a new heaven and a new earth, which will come down from above and be planted like a Garden full of righteous seeds, which will endure forever – for there will be no consuming fire of the sun there. The Lamb of God is its light, and peace shall reign for ever and ever from a New Jerusalem and a spiritual Israel, here on earth, Amen.
O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, You who set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen – even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth (Psalm 8)!
