Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

When we think of Christmas, the birth of Jesus should be foremost in one’s mind. It was a cataclysmic moment when the spiritual three-dimensional nature of the universe met with the Flatlands of the earth. Most people see the Flatlands from a one-dimensional perspective, but it does not change the fact that the earth is a round sphere tucked into the greater three-dimensional picture of the vast universe.
As our lives move on, in what appears to be a one-dimensional world, we tend to adapt to one-dimensional thinking, befitting that of the flatlands. When a three-dimensional spiritual event invades them, we are so traditional and limited by the practicality of ‘the seen flat world’ that we tend to reject that which does not fit perfectly within the limited borders of the mind.
The birth of Jesus was one of those events, but we sometimes forget that there was another event outside of the borders of our mind going on at the same time. It was a time marked by a disbelieving priesthood with one of its highest order having his mouth sealed because of his disbelief of the message sent to him by God through the angel Gabriel. Now, Gabriel stands in the very presence of God and was sent as His voice to announce another birth, which would take place just six months prior to that of Jesus.
This baby would also be a boy man-child and the last recorded in the line of the Levitical high-priesthood before its reins would be turned over to a new kind of High Priest, Jesus, as the Founder of a new three-dimensional, spiritual line of priests. The boy, called John, would have the Spirit of God placed in him from the moment he was conceived in the womb. He would go before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the children of Israel back to the Lord their God, whom they were forsaking to worship idols. Then he would call them to make straight the way of the Lord. There were no longer to be any side-road-cut-offs leading onto the religious, broad road of Satan. First, there would have to be complete separation from the Baals, and, secondly, there would be a future separation from the religious aftermath of the Asherahs and their radical feminism of the Jezebel spirit.
As it was with Zacharias, at the first coming of Jesus, so will it be at His second coming; there will be no voice heard from a Laodicean priesthood. It will fall upon the shoulders of the woman to become the spokesperson, whom God will hide away until her time comes to produce the second voice of one crying in the wilderness of the Flatlands, just as John the Baptist was the voice at the first coming of Jesus.
As God gave the right to the man to name all living creatures, without his voice the burden would fall to the woman to name the son. She would now begin to fulfill her role as partner of mankind to God in His coming three-dimensional kingdom. Whereas Eve failed to be the voice for God, this woman, with “Eli” or God in her name, called Elizabeth, and mother of John the Baptist, would become the voice for God, upon the failure of her doubting husband to become His voice.
There should be no questioning of God’s Word from a messenger sent by the Holy Spirit to announce the coming of the Lord and to introduce the concept of the changing of the spiritual waters in man with, first, a natural change on the Flatlands level of water baptism. It would point to man being born again of the Spirit of life, just as he had had it breathed into him in the Garden of creation. However, this time, he would first have to overcome the lures of Satan to keep him captive to the destroying spirit of death. Is this not the picture of being born again with a change of spirit from that of death to life, signified by the change of spiritual waters in one’s life?
The book of Luke points to another messenger to come to whom Malachi also pointed when he wrote these words – “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse (Malachi 4:5-6).” Luke, more or less relayed the same message as that spoken by Gabriel – “He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord (Luke 1:17).”
We are rapidly moving to the time of the coming of the Lord and that great and terrible Day of Judgment to come upon a sinning mankind. Again, we are looking at a priesthood, today, which has lost its voice, in its silence and capitulation to the religious world of Satan, marked by tolerance for, and unity with, sin to keep it from separating unto the Lord. Will there not have to be another birthing woman like Elizabeth, with “Eli” in her name, the God name, if she is to come in the same power as Elijah, Elisha, and Elizabeth, all having voices that speak for God? She will move in total faith as did John the Baptist, the son of Elizabeth; for she, too, is birthing a son or daughter for God with the Spirit in him/her as a born-again believer who is kingdom bound (see Revelation 12:1-5).
How could it be anything other than the pattern set by Elizabeth and her priestly husband, Zacharias the mute? Revelation, chapter 11, so clearly describes the second witness to come on the scene, in the spirit of Elijah and Moses. These are the essence of the true church – a tithe of the first of the Ten Commandments, which tells us we will have no religious idols before God. Then we must make a departure from this world in order to love Him with all our heart, soul and mind, just as Moses led the Israelites into total separation from Egypt. The Lord does not care about a tithe of our money any more than He cares about our animal sacrifices. He wants the sacrifice of giving our all, and nothing less than our total submission to His will in love.
We are in that unique place in history where, like the shepherds and kings, we are able to celebrate the first coming of the birth of Jesus, while, at the same time preparing ourselves spiritually for His second coming. We can only do it with a response to the voice of the Elijah call given in the spirit and power of Elijah, which will lift us up on eagle’s wings from the thinking of the Flatlands to the three-dimensional understanding, which is in complete harmony with the prophetic words of the three-dimensional book called the Bible. There is no other like it, written in the Spirit of the God of truth, which is prophecy (see Revelation 19:10).
It is time to come to the manger worshiping in spirit and in truth. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).” These were words spoken by Jesus to the Samaritan woman at the well, the same place where the heirs and fathers of Israel met their brides. It is time for the Flatlands to get ready and prepare themselves for the second coming of the Lord and His entrance into the world, one more time, in the spirit of the three-dimensional; for Jesus is coming for His bride, and He is coming soon.
“For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other (Matthew 24:27-31).”
