Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

King Solomon understood well that the same problems persist from one generation to the next, and what, if anything, does one learn from the previous generations? We strive for wisdom, pleasure and great accomplishments in our hard labor – but the futility of it all is that we pass on. And so, Solomon asked the burning question as to what a man profits from all his labor under the sun.
“Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “vanity of vanities, all is vanity.” What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun? One generation passes away, and another generation comes; but the earth abides forever. The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it arose. The wind goes toward the south, and turns around to the north; the wind whirls about continually, and comes again on its circuit. All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full; to the place from which the rivers come, there they return again. All things are full of labor; man cannot express it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing (Ecclesiastes 1:2-8).
The past seems to be futile in that it disappears and is gone forever; but the beauty is that it gives birth to history, and the truth of the matter is that history is His story, the story, which only the Word of God can give us in its perfection. Solomon goes on to write:
That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which it may be said, “See, this is new”? It has already been in ancient times before us (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10).
Surely, His story, the Bible, is 100% prophecy, as Solomon tells us, and as Jesus, Himself, states in the book of Revelation: “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10)”. So it can be said that the Word speaks of things to come. Why is it we never learn, with generation after generation making the same mistakes as the former ones made, allowing sin to take over our lives? Israel is in the state she is today because nothing has changed from the days of Ancient Israel; the same spiritual problems exist with respect to her covenant with God, which caused her to make the journey to the burning ovens of Auschwitz, Poland.
The United States of America is in the state she is in, because she has refused to learn from the sneak attack of her WWII enemy, Japan, when she thought she could play the neutral card with them, and still win the game. There was no neutral card with Japan and there is no neutral card with Islam, the enemy of America, today, any more than there was with Japan and Germany, her enemies of yesterday. How quickly we forget!
The same threat faces today’s free world in liberty as faced Adam’s world in the liberty God established in the Garden of Eden, when Adam ignored the warning God gave about listening to the lies of liberalism and about playing with serpents. The tree of the knowledge of both good and evil was the forbidden tree for you can’t have it both ways; if it is good, it is not evil, and if it is evil, it is not good.
Now, bring the evil of Islam into America and you are playing with snakes from the vipers’ nest of liberalism, right in your own backyard. Liberalism will separate you from God, and history will repeat itself as the generational curse takes over a once-freed nation. Have we not learned how easily Hitler moved in for the kill, while Germany sat back and allowed it to happen? Nothing is new that has not already been, so take a careful look at history, America, and you will be able to see the similarities between Germany, before she fell under the control of the Nazis, and America, today, about to allow the law of Islam to prevail in this nation.
Is there not a Dearborn, Michigan, right in the heart of the United States, allowed to exist like a viper’s nest in the center of the nation? Why have the police not gone in and broken it up before the vipers spread out from their deadly nest? Any child could see the threat, which our liberal leaders seem incapable of seeing in their blind, deaf and dumb stupor of seeming to know nothing about anything. No wonder Obama is still clinging to the coattails of George Bush after 5 years, who, at least did something about some things and took credit for knowing something about something.
Bush knew Islam was the enemy and did not do deals with Saddam Hussein. No one seems to know for sure, to this day, whether or not he had weapons of mass destruction. One of his highest generals, Georges Sada claimed, after the war, that he most certainly did have such weapons and had enough warning to ship some, if not all of them, out of the country and hide whatever remained, if any, where there was little risk of them being found. Of course they were not going to find any weapons, which is not the same thing as the liberal cry that there were no weapons and hence no need for Bush to attack Iraq.
Will this generation be unlike the other generations that have gone before and learn something from past history, or will it, too, be blinded from the past in its quest for pleasure, while completely uninformed regarding the political dangers surrounding it? She may not want war with Islam, but then who wanted war with Japan? Because of that war, we remain free people today.
Will America be any different from Ancient Israel in her fall from God’s grace, or will she return to Him, remove the enemy from within her borders and keep the torch of liberty held high over this land? It is such a simple choice, but such a seemingly difficult one to make, when the prophetic outcome lies directly before us in the Word of God.
It is as simple as this – if a nation under God chooses the truth of God, it will survive and live to see a new day. If it chooses to accept the lies of the liberalism from Satan, it will die. The old adage remains true today as when it was given to man in the Garden of Eden – in the day you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you will surely die.

From a book review of Saddam’s Secrets: Author, Georges Sada, was one of Saddam’s top generals and foremost military advisors. He was a truth-teller in a government that made the truth dangerous, a devout Christian in a Muslim country and a man who would stand up for what was right, even at the risk of his own life.
His book is an eye-opening exposé, in which General Sada shares his bizarre yet amazing journey as an insider to one of history’s most sinister regimes. He also, for the first time, reveals the disturbing truth about Saddam’s plots to destroy Israel, hide weapons of mass destruction and plan to overtake the Arab world. As an eye witness to history, Sada paints a painfully truthful picture of Hussein and his country that is, at once, personal and alarming, truthful and compelling, candid and sobering. It is a story guaranteed to send shock waves around the world.
