Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

The assault against Jesus has begun. The American justice system, and not the justice system of God, is about to decide whether or not it is lawful to pray to Him at the opening of public meetings. What do you think a justice system under God would have to say about that? It is time to remember how both nations of America were created. They were established in the Law of God, with public, opening prayers held for governments and classrooms. The justice system demanded that the Bible be the standard for truth in the courtroom. Why would this country not want truth to be the basis for the government or for the classroom?
Where is the voice of the Lord’s church today, as it was yesterday, being heard through the voice of His prophets and His apostles? Should the Lord’s bride not be witnessing to the truth of the gospels? Has she not been commissioned to do so, as the apostles did before her, by witnessing to all nations? Could it be she is sick with the same terminal disease Judas had as he slinked around in the night cavorting with the religious crew? Such actions ultimately led to the betrayal of Jesus and his own suicide even though he was one of the twelve men of this world who were closest to Jesus. Now, try and get your head around that conundrum.
Is today’s church not like a Judas, slinking around under its denominational, religious covering, willing to become one in deed, regardless of religious, denominational differences of doctrine? Whenever it suits their purposes they will leave the table of Jesus to join in religious unity for gain and, like Adam and Eve, they will reject the provisions of God, to receive whatever it is they want in order to achieve their goals. The means become irrelevant when it boils down to dollars and cents, or retaining one’s popularity at the expense of speaking truth.
Did Judas really want Jesus to die? It is hard to believe otherwise when he sold Him out to His enemy of religion. Perhaps, he just wanted religious peace between the religious priesthood and Jesus, and, in his naїveté, believed he could set the course for it. Then, too, maybe he found it difficult to give up the world, which prefers its religious practices to the hard-line path of truth. Maybe, if he were with us today, he would have preferred that his authority would come from a smiley Joel Osteen type priesthood, or a compromising Rick Warren, so that he could keep his popularity with the world intact. After all, the austerity of the non-compromising nature of Jesus is a hard line to follow, when everything in you cries out for the comforts and acceptance of the world.
Could it be that the institutional church is putting its head in the suicidal noose as surely as Judas did? It would appear to have a death wish, along with a desire for Jesus to blend in with the Christian programs and even disappear, so that church can be about religion as opposed to facing the uncomfortable truths in a day when evil is becoming the norm. It is much nicer to be accepted in the world as one tolerant of religion, than to be known as a hard-liner under the non-compromising person of Jesus. In this “new tolerant” world, the truth-sayers are like skunks at the World Garden Party so many miles apart from the garden party of God.
Take a look at the Tea Party and how it has been maligned, hated and mocked. Note the death threats leveled against Ben Carson, soon after he stood before Obama declaring truth, in the same manner as Jesus stood before the sons of Satan, those barracudas, the Pharisees, who were itching to kill him. Immediately, Carson was put on the IRS list, targeted with the intent to destroy him. For once, a Conservative man could hardly be labeled as a racist, and the left simply could not find anything in his squeaky-clean past.
Take a close look at Sarah Palin! The minute she zoomed to popularity for her fresh and honest statements of faith in politics, not only was she ridiculed and severely attacked by the leftists, but also her family was attacked and mocked in the most outrageous, untruthful ways. How about Herman Cain, when he spoke forthrightly about God’s role in his life? He would even break out in songs of praise for God at political meetings, only to soar in public opinion to become the darling of his party. Then the attacks began – the scandal was manufactured by the demonically-led enemy, which threatened to destroy him and his family, in order to put a stop to his rising star and popularity.
The Lord expected His church to withstand the stonings, without capitulation, let alone run before the bullies of name-calling and mockery. Surely Satan can’t break the bones of the true church, against which Jesus declared the gates of hell would not prevail. Of course, if Satan’s assault comes again upon the people of God, it will come against the church, as well. Where are the guts of the vessel to be found, or is there nothing left there but the flab and weakness brought on by a long association with religion, which has been left behind as a testimony to a world’s legacy, rather than to God’s?
We have reached the time of the end and all the signs are here. Jesus is coming and is coming soon for a pure bride who has none of the scent of religion upon her. She is not afraid to witness to the truth and would never allow the governments of this world to stop her from praying publically in His name, before her enemies.
It is time she rises out of her lethargy to come out of the religious system of worldly Christianity and come into the light in readiness for her Bridegroom who is coming, and is coming soon. Think of the words of the psalmist who cries out so hard to be heard by those Christians who have dust collecting on their Bibles.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run its race. Its rising is from one end of heaven, and its circuit to the other end; and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer (Psalm 19).
