The Christmas Covenant

Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out  …from a different perspective

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5). But there was one man called Noah who found grace in God’s eyes, a just man, perfect in his generation who walked with God; the rest of the people were corrupt before Him.

They were filled with violence, very much like what we now are seeing world-wide. America is departing from God for the corruption and violence leading to random murder and suicide, for which there is no good reason except for the nature of man without God. Get with it, Bill O’Reilly! You don’t have to ask the question as to what is causing the violence among the youth today. It is evident that the cause is due to mankind rejecting God to embrace the lies and murderous ways of the devil.

What do wicked men do with rulers who are liars today? They fund their holidays and ‘cushy’ lifestyles instead of firing and prosecuting them. As far as God is concerned, He is going to put a sudden end to such men, as He did in the days of Noah, but not in quite the same way. He used a flood of water on the earth to destroy all flesh from under heaven, the same flesh, which God had blessed with the breath of life, but which man, himself, rejected for the death culture. It is what God calls blaspheming the Holy Spirit of life, an act for which there is no forgiveness.

God is a gentleman. If one does not choose life, then God will curse him with death. It brings us full circle to the blessing and the cursing of the Law. The same wicked men reject the Law of God for religious rights, which bring in the laws of men along with tolerance for all sin, an act in which there can be no justice. It is exactly what we are seeing today – the evil go free and the just are incarcerated, tortured, killed, even beheaded and, in some cases, chopped up like stewing meat, as happened on the street of so-called, civilized London, England.

But God established His covenant promise with Noah to save him because of his righteousness, along with his wife, sons and sons’ wives. He also saved the animals, those which were non-violent, for, in the act of salvation, God made them as the prophetic picture of a believing society of humans born into the family of the beast, but trusting in Jesus for their salvation. He promised to do so in the gospel of John 3:15, saying that whosoever believed in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. The condemnation is found here; the light came into the world and men loved darkness more than they loved light, because their deeds were evil (see John 3:19).

Now, God spoke to Noah telling him that the world-wide flood was a one-time thing. He had a plan of salvation for man called the Way back to the tree of life through His Son, the Light broken on the cross for the salvation of you and me. He revealed Him to be the rainbow, or the symbol of broken light, in that He took our sin of rejecting the light of creation, with this being the sign of the covenant between man and God. It was not with a nation called Israel; it was with a spiritual family of man who would become spiritual Israel in righteousness, to become the house of God, the house of King Jesus who will rule over all men, which is to say, those who escape the final fire judgment.

God will never cover over sin with water again; He is going to burn it up and return man back to the ash or dust from which He took him because he did not want the light of life. It has always been, and is so today, man’s choice as whether or not to believe liars or God. Man will soon find out for himself which one, God or Satan, had it right; man either was created by God or he evolved from the beast that came from who knows where in the beginning.

I am afraid the evolutionists will have their dark imaginings fulfilled. They did not want the gift of life to come from God, so they will get the darkness, but not before facing the fire and the wrath of God, reserved for the sons of the devil, the beast. The sun can both sustain life with its light and can burn man to death with its heat. This is the real global warming, which is on the way, Mr. Gore, and I would suggest you get it right before it is too late to do so.

“But if the Lord creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will understand that these men have rejected the Lord.”

Then it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods. So they and all those with them went down alive into the pit; the earth closed over them, and they perished from among the congregation. Then all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up also!” And a fire came out from the Lord and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering incense (Numbers 16:30-35).

There was an earthquake before the fire, which swallowed up Korah. Are you seeing the signs, today, of the end? Tsunamis are nothing but earthquakes coming out of the seawaters of Satan – the evil waters returned to the earth, which God separated at creation. The spirits, which are released from the sea, kill man, as man embraces demons causing self-destruction. The world presently is on a suicide trip, just as Korah was when he (man) rebelled against God’s chosen ruler, Moses (Jesus). And the sadness is that Korah was from among God’s own chosen Israel whom He had so lovingly delivered from the captivity of Egypt, only again to have her go into rebellion.

It was through His Son that God so lovingly delivered man from his captivity to death in sin. Take a good look at Christmas today to see what we have done with the Son of God, the Deliverer who wants to give life to all mankind! Are we any better than Korah was in Moses’ day, or are we any less deserving than he was of the dreadful fate awaiting him at the end of his life? Are we any better than Adam, who rejected God for the dark side of Satan?

This Christmas, look closely into the manger to see who really is lying there as a Babe! Is it Jesus you see, or a multicultural bunch of gods, which claim to be God but are not? Only Jesus can claim to be the Son of God because He was begotten of the pure, spiritual waters of heaven, being the Spirit of life and not of the impure, spiritual waters from beneath, being the spirit of death. There was no beast of this earth in His spiritual make-up. He was a pure, beautiful, little Babe sent from God for your and my sake, so that we could once again live in the family of God, not for the time of one generation, but rather, for an eternity. Worship Him and thank Him in the knowledge that God, not man, never breaks covenant, and He is looking for a bride of man, who, like His Son, will not break covenant either!

There is a rainbow around the throne (see Revelation 4:3), and God will look upon it and remember His everlasting covenant between Him and every living creature of all flesh that is on this earth (see Genesis 9:15). Looking upon that Babe, His Son, in the manger among the beasts, God saw a rainbow, His brokenness for us that we might live. How could this ever be just any common holiday?

Have a very Merry Christmas indeed, in the true spirit of the day, which is in celebration of the miracle, which has come to man from God, the Christmas Covenant sealed in the name of Jesus.
