Did You Know There is a Trinity on Earth, which bears a Spiritual Witness?

Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out  …from a different perspective

One of the most important Scriptures of the Bible is rarely quoted in the pulpits. In fact, I have heard it said by preachers, many times, that the Trinity is not mentioned in the Bible. Let us look at the book of 1 John!

For there are three who bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one (1 John 5:7).

Could it get any more trinitarian than that? You might answer “No” to the question, but this passage about heaven has a comparable partner on earth. There is a trinitarian nature to the witness on earth also, and though comparable, it is a lesser witness to the greater one of heaven.

And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one (1 John 5:8).

In the first passage you have Beings – with the sense of their very presence as a witness to the world. In the second passage you have a combination of the sense of being – the Spirit, and the natural elements of water and blood. If we look carefully at the three, we will see they are the components involved at creation, with the Spirit, water and blood being imparted to the dust to make man a living being. Without these three, there would be no life, just dust.

In this manner, the scientific-minded and the spiritually-minded must come into agreement; there can be no departure in their paths. Both life and death are as described in Scripture. God is a God of truth; any witness of men is overshadowed by the greater witness of God who created the vessel called man, regardless of whether or not the vessel of man believes this. God’s witness is truth and the Potter has the ability to destroy or preserve the vessels created by His hands. The testimony, given in the Spirit of prophecy, makes His truth an absolute.

The nature of the vessel actually determines its own destiny according to whether or not it pleases the eye of the Potter. It so easily can become bent out of shape, if it does not respond to the Potter’s hands, which work diligently to produce a perfect vessel pleasing to His eye. In some cases, it comes to a point where the Potter breaks up the vessel of His creation and returns it to its former state of being, without shape and void. This is a state that returns it to the former dust it once was, which, in human terms, means returning His human being back to his original state of the dust from which he came. This is the darkness of death.

Who would ever want to have the witness of men when it is possible to have the witness of God, the Greater, whose witness is of the Son? The entire Bible is a witness of the Son from the moment God says, “Let there be light” in Genesis, chapter 1 until He says His final words of the final chapter of Revelation, chapter 22: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Did you know that by not believing these truths you make God out to be a liar? He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son (1 John 5:10). If this is so, there is no witness in such a person. We all know any number of such persons, all around us, who are sitting in the pews of religion while believing the testimony of men and the distorted news from the media, while they refuse to crack open their Bibles.

They are not interested in the testimony of God, the Father, for His Son. It is more important to them to read about what Aristotle, George Washington, Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan, and even Al Gore have to say than what God has to say. Among men of prominence over the centuries, we remember such names as Alexander the Great, Caesar, Oliver Cromwell, General Eisenhower and President John Kennedy. Having said that, how many of the names of the apostles do you remember who, by witnessing to the truth of the Son of God, forfeited their lives so that many might receive eternal life? If someone had saved your life, would you not call him/her your hero?

These twelve men turned the entire world upside down, yet the same twelve are never mentioned on men’s list of the greats and those deserving of men’s medals of honor. Do you honor their names, as men who died terrible deaths to save you and me, so that we might live too? Countless other believers have gone out to the world to witness to the truth of the Son and have died in the trenches trying to do so, with their names often forgotten and never mentioned again. They rarely, if ever, receive medals of honor for putting their lives on the line for spreading the gospel of truth. Can you imagine the honors awaiting them in heaven?

Do you know that, in one American, public school classroom, the children were asked to write an essay on their favorite hero, as an assignment? One child chose to write about Jesus. The teacher told the child that she would not be able to write about Him, nor would she be allowed to use His name. She was forced to replace her Hero with some other man or woman. The interesting thing about this is that if the child had chosen to write about Yasser Arafat, a murderer who has been given the accolades of men as the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, or about the liar, President Obama, or about the other liar, former President Clinton, there would have been no problem with her choice of hero.

The facts are plain and simple. We still reject life, as did Adam and Eve before us. We prefer to embrace the lies of Secularism, when God has offered us life – the Spirit and the spiritual water from above, separated from the spiritual waters beneath, with the blood of life surging through our veins. Still, we choose the wisdom of men over the wisdom of God and reject the trinitarian nature of the three, which bear witness to the truth on earth.

How do you suppose the Lord, standing as the ladder between earth and heaven, will look upon those who have preferred men’s witness to His? He answers that question quite simply:

“Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation (Mark 3:28-29).”

There is one, and only one, sure testimony; God gave man eternal life in the Garden and that life is found in the Son. One cannot believe the lies of Satan in the religious, belief systems of the world, which come from the waters of this world, and still be one with God. The waters of the Spirit of truth from above wash us clean of this religious spirit, which comes from beneath. Never forget that the spirits of lies and religion were the seeds of Liberalism, which grew from the very suggestion of the devil that man could be like God. He could accept the philosophies of the philosophers and think himself wise. In fact, his own philosophies and thoughts created the basis for Human Secularism.

This is the secular message; we are like God, so what need do we have of Him? Get Him out of the public square! Make way for the Caesars, Hitler, Putin, and yes, the Clintons and the Obamas, too! They all have their own set of rules on public morality and, for starters, let’s begin with the all-important, number one rule of God, which concerns the marriage bed. There is no easier way to discern who is of God and who is of the devil than by the stand men take on marriage, abortion and homosexuality. The truth says one thing and Secularism says another. But the trinitarian message on earth does not allow for this.

“And who are you who are without sin that you might judge another?” you may well ask. “Get the log out of your own eye before you try to remove the speck from the eye of another”. I am in full agreement with these words of God, and our judges might be wise to also be in agreement with them. Until you get the log of Secularism out of your eye, you cannot see to judge anything in a spirit, which is not one with God.

Believe me! You want to embrace the trinitarian spirit of oneness with Him so that you will be able to accurately judge right from wrong. You are not only commanded to do so, but you are also commanded to come to the righteousness of the Son. He is the only one who can render you a judge in the Spirit of the Law, which He both wrote and kept. Of course, you must judge and you are required to do so daily, so that you will not be deceived by the lies of the devil who combines Scripture with the lures of evil. The world is filled with deception under the guise of a religion, which calls itself the church, but is not the church. Christianity came from the heart of Caesar and his Romanism; it did not come from the heart of God.

There are three that witness on earth – the Spirit, the water and the blood; they witness to eternal life. You had better know the difference between the spirits – between those of the waters beneath and those of the water from above; between contaminated blood and that which is not contaminated.

Now is the time for understanding, and the world needs large doses of it before man’s days are numbered and he will have to pay the price for having lusted after 30 pieces of silver, when he could have had all of the riches of heaven. Pray that you will not be known by the name of Judas when you arrive at heaven’s gate!
