We are in the Wrong Jungle

Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out  …from a different perspective

We have been listening to the daily news for months now about how the black oil has been spewing up in the Gulf from the depths of the sea, where it could not be contained. It would appear that man, with all his technology, was unable to do anything about it. The sadness of the situation is that nations actually have the technology and the required ships, which could have been sent to the region to correct the problem, but President Obama refused to allow the clean-up to proceed with their help.

As surely as Jezebel brought her 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Asherah into Israel to eat at her table, Obama has brought a band of advisors with him to the highest office of the land, who can only be compared to those prophets who surrounded Jezebel – the controlling power behind a wicked king’s throne.

Of course, the throne on which Ahab ruled in Northern Israel could not be compared to the throne of Judah. His was a part of that nation, which was ripped away and would not receive the inheritance of Abraham. It could be said of Ahab’s throne that, one day, it would disappear completely as if it had never existed because of the people’s sinful behavior and refusal to worship only the one true God Who had brought them out of the land of Egypt.

America under Obama and his unelected czars is today as Northern Israel was yesterday under Ahab and his wicked wife, Jezebel. First of all, Obama is sitting in his office as an imposter in the chair; he lacks the required credentials and prerequisite for any candidate to hold this office. Yet, like dealing with the oil spill, there seems to be a blockage, which prevents anything from being done about it.

Could it be that God is raising His clenched fist over this land? In that day Egypt will be like women, and will be afraid and fear because of the waving of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which He waves over it (Isaiah 19:16). “And the Egyptians I will give into the hand of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them,” says the Lord, the Lord of hosts (Isaiah 19:4).

Hopefully, Americans are going to wake up soon, climb the tall trees and look around to declare, “We are in the wrong jungle.” What happened to the highest branch of the high cedar, the tender twig planted on the high and prominent mountain to become like a shining city on a hill? What happened to the mountaintop and the cedars of Israel, which showed all the trees of the field that the Lord had brought down the high tree, and had exalted the low tree?

When did the cedars of David’s house in America give way to the jungle of the religious world, which is symbolized by Egypt? We no longer are a separated people set apart as a light to the rest of the world in darkness, but rather, have become like it, by bowing to eastern potentates.

Do not think that God will not shake His fist at this nation as we have seen in connection with the oil spill. He stated in Isaiah that the waters will fail from the sea and the river will be wasted and dried up. They will turn foul, with the brooks of defense being emptied and dried up, and everything sown by the river will wither, be driven away and be no more. And the fishermen also will mourn who languish where they once used to spread their nets (see Isaiah 19:5-8).

It will take a miracle from God for this oil spill not to be carried out into the ocean, to fulfill this very prophecy because of the evil we have done in this land. We have become a wicked and vile people hooked on pornography and every possible immoral sexual act there is. We are allowing our children’s innocence to be taken from them, even to the point of becoming the object of pornographic material.

And where do Harper and Obama stand on this issue? They don’t stand at all, as they both play politics, using the cultic votes to raise their numbers in the polls. They are not serving either the Canadians or the people of the United States, those who hire them and pay their salaries. It is high time we call them before the people’s court, and not before the phony courts of the land, to fire the whole lot of them, and put an end to their treason against our God. We did not hire them to replace God with Allah so we could bow before him like the puppet-on-a-string that Obama has become.

It is time to wake up, climb up, look around at the situation, and declare, “We are in the wrong jungle.” Returning to our heritage in God is the only way we can be saved from the savages of the jungle of this world.

Thus says the Lord God: “I will take also one of the highest branches of the high cedar and set it out. I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and will plant it on a high and prominent mountain. On the mountain height of Israel I will plant it; and it will bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a majestic cedar. Under it will dwell birds of every sort; in the shadow of its branches they will dwell. And all the trees of the field shall know that I, the Lord, have brought down the high tree and exalted the low tree, dried up the green tree and made the dry tree flourish; I, the Lord, have spoken and have done it (Ezekiel 17:22-24).”
