Cartoons and America’s Real Problem

Cartoons, by the very nature of the word, are intended to be humorous. We, of the older generation, can remember calling them the ‘Funnies’. The idea behind a political cartoon is an exaggeration of a political stance, with the purpose of poking fun at political leaders or political philosophies. To dismiss a political cartoon because its purpose is not accompanied by a supporting argument is ridiculous.
Political cartoons are not intended to be supported by an argument; they are intended to be nothing more than situational humor. They cannot be compared to journalistic editorials and commentary. I, personally, have found some political cartoons to be extremely humorous. What I do object to is the idea of a liberal media showing its bias by manipulating the news with a one-sided slant on either editorial commentary or the political cartoons it chooses to print.
The fervor and violence resulting from the publishing of the cartoons about Mohammed, innocuous and all as they are, have not been taken to the depth of understanding about this whole issue that we need here in this country. The fear of printing them is nothing but a symptom of the disease from which we are suffering in the nation. It is affecting and undermining our whole western system of government.
America has enjoyed liberty and freedom of the press for one reason and one reason only. When the founding fathers drafted the Declaration of Independence, they chose to separate the government from religion and to apply the Law of God, given to Moses on Mount Sinai. It became fundamental to our whole way of life in the West, with the Bible being made the standard for truth within the justice system, setting the moral direction of the nation. Nothing has officially changed; the Bible is still to be found visibly at voting booths, used to swear in unlisted voters who stand upon it when making a statement of truth.
The Puritan immigration to North America resulted from the people’s desire to escape the bondage of religious/state/controlled governments, existing in the countries from which they departed, mainly from England, and to a lesser extent, from Scotland and Ireland. At that time, every country in the world was in religious/state bondage of one form or another. All the wars ever fought to this point in time, had been fought over the religious/state system of one country or despot, trying to inflict its system and rule over another, by acquiring its possessions and its lands.
The men who drafted the Declaration of Independence had captured a vision of man’s liberty under God. They knew liberty came from God’s Law and from His Word, as stated in the Bible, and not from any charters of rights or from little political red books of doctrine. Such things as these, would ultimately take us right back to the Garden of Creation and the rebellion of man, which led to religious liberalism, or freedom from God, providing man with a sure road to death.
So, where does this all leave us with respect to Christianity? It is right where it belongs among the religions of the world but as one rooted in Romanism instead of in Islam. The Lord allowed His church to grow and expand in Romanism just as Israel grew and expanded in Egypt, until the time came for the Passover and liberty. Martin Luther began paving the way for the Puritanical process. It was the beginning of the exodus of the true church, set up by Jesus, to come out of Romanism and to return to its roots in the apostolic church. This is a church committed only to the truth, free and void of any religious man-made doctrines.
There is a great difference between religious books, such as the Koran, and the Bible. The Bible is truth, not doctrine, and it validates itself by being 100% prophetic and without error. Unfortunately, the Puritanical movement has become dormant, just like Lazarus was sleeping in the tomb. Today, institutional churches would rather identify with the world than stand on truth. Christianity’s purpose for cradling God’s church is all but over, as it joins into the One World Religion being put in place by Satan. The exodus must take place first, so that the voice for the gospel of the truth will be restored. It cannot coexist any longer with a Christianity that is headed for disaster.
Let us look at the “Clergy Letter Project”; 10,000 pastors debunk creationism. These pastors have an agenda to show the Bible is myth. They start with their own belief system instead of with the truth, as do all fools. They think the theory of evolution is a foundational scientific truth. They have accepted this lie, for scientists have never found any such evidence, and they, not the true church, become the product of ignorance. This is the ignorance being transmitted to our children. Darwin lies molding in his grave, but Jesus is as alive and well today as He was 2,000 years ago, and that is an historical fact, which few real historians will deny.
The Clergy Letter Project is only one example of Christian apostasy. There are hundreds of others, including the Jesus Seminar, the Anglican Archbishop and the Queen’s attachment to Druidism, much of the priesthood of almost every denomination endorsing homosexuality, the false claim of the pope himself to spiritual inerrancy and, most frightening of all, the ties of western Christian leadership to the Bilderbergers.
Anyone with a shred of understanding only has to look to the prophecy of Isaiah, chapter four, to see it all spelled out. The prophet points to the seven churches of the church age saying literally that they don’t want the truth or robes of righteousness, but they do want to come under the banner of Christ’s name, while carrying out their own agendas and not His. The Lord God says, in so many words, “Too bad for them,” for He will raise up His own branch, which will be His own true church. It will witness, as it was originally called to do, only to the truth and never to religion. She will produce the good fruit of the marriage bed of the Garden, as it was intended to bear. Such fruit cannot and never could come from a homosexual bed, or a marriage bed marred by religious harlotry.
The question, which Ron Gray of the CHP is asking, is whether or not the Canadian press should print a cartoon about Mohammed in the news, if, by doing so, it might incite Islamic violence against Canadians, specifically our soldiers. Of course it should, if such a cartoon has become the center of world news! Should we worry about the Muslims’ response any more than the apostle Paul worried about the response of the pagan religions of his day to his message denouncing their idolatry?
There is no guarantee that doing so will not result in the usual Muslim threats and killings, which are a product of a religion that preaches violence. Mohammed founded just such a religion, and those Muslims who carry out such acts are not the radicals; they are living by the fundamental tenets of their religion. The so-called peace-loving Muslim here in America is nothing but an oxymoron, living a life in contradiction between behavior and belief system.
Hitler hardly presented a threat to American liberty, compared to that of the Muslim presence in America, for Islam is a religion that ultimately seeks world domination by force, if necessary. We have had the perfect example here in Ontario of a Muslim attempt toward a creeping takeover of our laws, as they tried to introduce their own system of law within first one province, and then on to bigger things as they moved out to other provinces.
Islam is systematically using our Charter ‘rights laws’ and the former Liberal government’s agenda to multiculturalize this nation, for putting a base in place to Muslimize the western world with its cultic eastern religion and to populate our major cities. Given time, unless we make radical changes in our immigration policies, sooner rather than later, it will be mission accomplished. At such point in time, the so-called peace-loving American Muslim will take on the same fundamentalist nature, as that which reigns in the countries from which he has come.
Woe to America when that day comes, which will be marked by a general personality alteration of the average Muslim male in this country, who will become like the nice doctor of the true story entitled ‘Not Without My Daughter’! It deals with a transplanted Muslim doctor living the fully American life in the West, married to an American woman. It appeared on the surface that being a Muslim did not prevent him from living by our standards, and integrating into our society, but nothing was further from the truth. Once he returned to his country of origin with his family, being back again under his own repressive religious regime, he became nothing but a terror to his family and anyone else, who might get in his way. In a similar fashion, a Muslim takeover in America will become nothing but a reign of terror in what was once a peace-loving nation under God, not under Allah.
Israel was told by God to be separate from the world, and if strangers were to come into the land, the same law was to apply to them as that which applied to the rest of God’s people who were enjoying liberty under His Law. Wake up, America, to the danger of the Muslim presence in the West, coupled with a liberal-leaning, leftist media!
Ezra Levant understands this better than our Christian Heritage Party members who should also know something about the history of Israel. Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan are not in danger because Ezra Levant has chosen to publish some newsworthy political cartoons declared by Muslims, and not by Canadians or Americans, to be offensive. Our soldiers receive their protection from God, Who gives victory over the enemy when we honor only Him and keep His Law. Surely Vicki Gunn, a CHP member and presumably a Christian, knows the truth of the Word. Would she have Canadians bow to the enemy in an act displaying fear of Satan’s power instead of finding their strength by trusting in the Lord?
Why would the Christian Heritage Party leader be in any doubt on this issue? Of course our natural lives are always put in danger when challenging the enemy, but apparently, it takes one of the Judaic faith to teach the Christians a lesson in bravery, and how to stand on our rights as Canadians. We believers have the added assurance of the power of Jesus given to His own people, something, which I believe Ezra Levant would not try to claim. How come he has to teach a Christian society about faith in God and what it means to claim our democratic rights under His Law?
Today, America is called to be God’s light to the world, in the same way that the nation, Israel, was called in the past, but failed to keep her calling. How miserably spiritual Israel has also failed to be that light of liberty in God’s Law and in His truth! Whenever an eastern religion raises its ugly voice in condemnation of the West, our good old Christian pastors can be seen running for cover behind their walls of religious compromise and ecumenicalism. If one should speak out in truth, the others unite to lambaste his ‘intolerance’.
I had my doubts about Stephen Harper as a leader and whether or not he had what it takes to implement change. Now I see him as a man who can instill hope. He carried his Bible, not religion, undauntedly to his installation ceremonies, which made him Prime Minister of Canada. He made his first crucial decisions, with a great display of strength, which the Liberals hated. Stockwell Day, his Minister of Public Safety, supported the principle upon which Ezra Levant stood. Where were our good Christian leaders, who refused to speak out on this issue? Do they have any depth of understanding of the problem in this nation, which sees them bowing to the Muslim religious presence in our country?
What was called a cartoon about Jesus was printed in the University of Saskatchewan’s newspaper. It was not a cartoon at all, for it was neither humorous nor did it deal with religious/political satire. It was an expression of hate, presented as a filthy sexual act, created by a gutless unidentified artist, who was making a statement that was nothing but blasphemy of the Lord of this nation. Treason should be the charge, and the newspaper should be closed down. Let us try to understand something; for the cartoon to be published, it had to go through a process of type setting and some sort of editorial approval, yet we have been told that it got into the paper by mistake! That is like a diabetic claiming he ate a piece of cake, while mistaking it for an apple. Give “us poor humble readers” a break!
What people believe does not alter the truth. Mohammed is not now, and never was, a prophet of God – a prophet of Allah, maybe, but not of God. God’s prophets all came out of Israel, and will continue to do so. They came with a message to save Israel, not to destroy it. Before Christians run away from the issue in fear of offending the Muslims, leaving it up to them to determine the freedom or lack of freedom in our press, perhaps they might dig down into the depths of the “Word” and find out just who the true Jew is. Discover there the role God had for America, and how victory over the enemy in liberty was assured to a country under His Law, standing on the truth of His Word and not submitted to any religions of this world.
