INTRODUCTION
This is a time for a close relationship with Jesus, and a time to press into God. We must be clothed in the Holy Spirit, so that we can move as one with the Lord. He calls us to follow Him and to walk in His footsteps, for no other shall lead and no name shall receive honour above the name of Jesus. All of the glory shall be His.
He calls us to His apostolic boat, the leadership boat a tall ship with sails, that can be driven by the winds of the Spirit. Only the Lord can calm the storms ahead, and though trouble may come to us, we need not fear, for the Lord Jesus, Himself, will be in the boat with us, and He shall steer us through all danger as we battle our way to victory.
Christians, come together and repent, as we purify ourselves in preparation for the battle ahead. Let us place the Lord at the helm, and obey His commands, as we move in to repossess the land for Jesus.
GOD IS A GOD OF NATIONS
June 1, 1999
God is a God of nations, and our Lord, one day, shall rule all nations here on earth. Does that sound political? Should we heed the voices that say, “Christians, it is not your place to speak out in the political world. Your job is to remain silent in the churches, praying behind your four walls.”? The point is, are we still under Caesar’s rule? Did the Jewish people not plead for a Messiah to come to free them from their captivity and the oppression of a dictatorship? When the Messiah came they neither recognized Him, nor would they accept Him, but rather they tried to kill this new voice of God to the world.
Our Lord Jesus formed a new covenant with the world, and commissioned His apostles to be the vessels through whom He would lay the foundation of His church. This covenant was now for all people, Gentiles and Jews alike, for whosoever would believe in Him and be saved. The Church began under the oppressive government of Caesar, but after hundreds of years of growth through various forms of oppression and persecution, the Lord led His people to a new land, called America, where He then claim it for Himself. In Canada, crosses were planted in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Quebec, as the early settlers arrived, giving thanks to God for this land, and claiming it in His name. Churches began to appear all over the new land, and became the source of strength and backbone for this people, who set up a democratic form of government by elected representation. The many centuries of oppression were over for them. The nation set up standards that placed the Lord and His Word, the Bible, at the very centre of our laws and schools. We had become a nation with a strong moral character, one that worshipped God and His Son, Jesus Christ, both in schools and in parliament as we prayed to Him. This was carried into our laws by the authority of parliament and the courts, which upheld the Ten Commandments and God’s Word as their very foundation. It was not about having an institutional state church, but rather about a people marrying their beliefs with the way they conducted their lives.
Peoples of other cultures and religions of the world, wanted to live in Canada, in order to enjoy the riches and peace, that are the fruits of a God-fearing and God-worshipping nation. Instead of joining into this pattern of life chosen by its people, these new arrivals, in many cases, set up their own institutions of worship. We find them insisting that all religions are equal, and by implementing the use of the Charter of Rights, which fails to safe-guard our national heritage of Christianity that has been basic to our success as a nation, they began militantly setting about to destroy the influence of Christianity in the land. A silent and weak church became mute, as these forces came against it, along with the help of a Charter of so-called equal Rights, all together helping to pave the way for the removal of Christianity as the central source of power in this nation.
We have now reached the point, where minorities are ruling in our country, by means of the biased decisions of unelected and unaccountable judges, while at the same time, Christianity is being quickly eroded. Very soon, churches and people will be prosecuted by the state, if they utter a sound on certain moral issues, as the nation moves deeper and deeper into sinfulness and corruption. The time for judgment has come. If the church continues to remain silent and does not form a voice to be heard in this land, then we as Christians are going to be held accountable to God for our actions. We will neither escape the tribulation, nor will there be time to do anything about it, for just as in Noah’s day God closed the door of the ark, so too, will God close the door on the institutional church. Only His bride, who has bravely come forth without fear of the giant and proclaimed Jesus’ name in this land, will be saved from His wrath, as she leads the way first into this nation and then into the world. I believe that the Lord wants to restore Canada, to serve as a place of refuge for God-fearing people and for His Jewish people, who once more are going to suffer severe persecution by the enemy, in these evil end-time days.
An alliance of Christians, coming together from all of the institutional churches, is the only answer for a strong voice, one that could change this nation around. The Lord has said to me that the time is short. This is the last of forty jubilee years since Christ was born. Yom Kippur, the day of atonement, which is on Sept. 20, 1999, is the spiritual feast day for national repentance, and the very last day of the fortieth Jubilee. The Lord has made me believe that this is also the last chance for a national repentance, when Christians from all over the country at one time, might fast and pray, as they intercede for the sins of the nation. This follows the pattern of Israel’s forty years in the wilderness, the completion of which ended their journey to the Promised Land. The people were then ready to go in and possess the land. The Feasts are the blueprint for God’s people. They show us the plan that leads to the return of our Lord for His bride. Unless we hear the call and get down on our knees at this specified time in God’s plan, all across this country in our homes in the homes, in our churches, or whenever we might be, and repent of our national sin, then we as Canadians and Christians will have failed our Lord and our country.
We must come together, first in personal and then national repentance at this, God’s designated time, and then as a unified body in an alliance of the people of Christ, that will speak life back into the land. Like the apostles in the Book of Acts, we must come against the political forces that would destroy Christianity, and once more restore our covenant with the Lord in this country, one that would give Him rulership over the nation. This would be a voice for Christianity, not just a religious move. Taking such action will surely separate the covenanting peoples in the various denominations from the corruption that is now gaining a foothold in the institutional church.
I come to you as a mere servant of the Lord, bearing a message which I believe He has placed on my heart for this time. He wants his bride unified and in place, awaiting His coming. Are you willing and ready to step into the water, or will you forever stay at the back of the line, afraid to respond to the sound of the trumpet call?
CANADIANS FIRST
June 4, 1999
Anyone, who becomes a new citizen in this country, should know that he or she has chosen us, we have not chosen them. They must choose to become Canadians first, and that means knowing exactly what is implied in becoming a Canadian. If a person is coming from a racial background and religion, which is not compatible with the basic moral fibre of our Canadian culture, then that same person will have to make changes in order to adapt to our lifestyle. Canada does not change to adapt to the new citizen, even though we welcome this same citizen as a newly adopted member into the family.
We as Canadians, must uphold the Christian roots and morality, that have been our heritage and our strength. If we deny them, and allow them to be taken away from us, then we will fall as a nation, as surely as God’s Word is truth. When a people makes a covenant with God, and does not honour it, then God will ultimately destroy that nation and scatter it to the four corners of the earth. When crosses were planted in this land by the early settlers, we claimed if for Christ, and when the nation was formed, we inscribed in our parliament buildings, that God shall have dominion from sea to sea. Our laws were made and based on the principal that they must comply with the Word of the Bible, while the Ten Commandments became our moral yardstick for right and wrong.
Woe to us, who call ourselves Christians, and have allowed this heritage to be eroded and stolen from the land. God shall surely judge His Church with fire, for we have remained silent, as other minority groups have walked all over our laws. We behaved like the frightened spies sent out by Moses, who said the giants of the land were too big to tackle. We have not only sat back and watched as multiculturalism took over in our land, but we, as uncommitted followers of Christ, have bought into the concept that equality of all lifestyles and all religions is acceptable to us. We have walked away from the divinity of Christ, not only in the land, but also in the churches of all denominations, which are preaching social doctrines, instead of the truths of the God’s Word, with Christ’s divinity at the very centre of it. It is bad enough to be like the Church of Laodicea, which had lost its first love and its passion, but to even question Jesus’ role, as to whether He is central to the Christian faith or not, places us in a position of severe judgment leading to sure death.
Repent, O people of God! Come together as a nation and bow down on our knees before our almighty Father in national repentance, seeking forgiveness for allowing our Christian heritage to be erased from the very centre of our churches and our land. God will accept nothing less from His covenanting people. When Israel, which was God’s example to the world, walked away from worshipping the Father, she moved into the idol worship that had separated her from the other nations. God warned her through His prophets, but then judgment was as sure as His Word, for His righteous nature would not tolerate the sin of His covenanting people. As Israel was chosen and blessed, so was Canada chosen and blessed. Just as God gave Israel warnings and periods of grace, so too has Canada been warned and given a period of grace. But the time is short, for the abomination of our sin has placed a stench in the nostrils of the Father. We have now come to the end of His period of mercy. The wrath of His judgment will be sure and swift. Make no mistake, the time is now one minute to midnight.
People of prayer, awake. Fall to your knees in repentance, and ask God for forgiveness for the sins of the church, of the government, of the judiciary, and of the people of this nation.
O CANADA, REPENT!
June 5, 1999
O Canada, repent, for God’s Spirit will not always strive with man. His judgment is swift and will come in the twinkling of an eye. His righteous nature will not stand for our national sins, for they are great. While we are dancing and singing and giving in marriage, suddenly, when we least expect it, He will come upon us. Just as man challenged God by saying he had built a ship that not even God could destroy, so has our secular humanist society fed us the lie that we are masters of our own fate, and that we have no need of God. This same society has elevated itself and now seeks to destroy every reminder of God that was basic to the birthing of this nation.
Society has grown in knowledge, rushing to and fro in the world, clothed in its own self-importance and self-sufficiency. Nations are beginning to self-destruct, as they hand over their powers and jurisdictions to what seems to be the beginning of a one world power. Already the growth of the computer has narrowed the walls of communication, and has brought the economics of this world into instant touch with each other. The god of the market place is now firmly established in our lives, whether we like it or not. The groundwork has been done, and all is in place for a one-world leader to appear. The Jewish people have been returned to their homeland, and the nation of Israel again flourishes as one of the important countries of the world.
Are we not rushing headlong into fulfilling end-days prophecy, as we have placed the stability of our economy at the altar of the computer? Could the year 2000, not see our world thrown into chaos, as two simple zeros confound the best of our academic giants? How simple it was, for God to place a quarter-inch slice in the side of the Titanic! How simple it is for Him to take two zeros, a number that represents nothing to man, and throw all the systems of the world into chaos!
Foolish people of God, repent, for the hour draws near when man will know who is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Who shall be able to stand in his own strength before Him? Instead we shall be bowed to our knees in the awesome realization of who Jesus really is? In that day, we shall be held accountable as members of His church, for our silence and our idolatrous ways. Woe to those men, who have ignored His divinity in our land, and have allowed the forces of the giant to overcome us. Woe to those who have lacked the faith of David, by not using the slingshot of repentance, which God has given us. Woe to those, who unlike Joshua have failed to move into the waters in order to keep the covenant that we have with God in this land.
God has given us the plan, O bride of Christ. Awake before it is too late. Move as a body and go forth to repossess this nation before the coming hour, at which time the door will be closed. The chance for restoration in the land by God’s merciful hand will have passed, and shall be lost to its people forever.
FROM DIVISION TO UNION
June 6, 1999
There is an attack taking place on the unity of Christians, coming from within the body of Christ itself. The enemy seeks to divide and separate through accusation and whispering. Ministries, that can be powerful in their own right, are showing mistrust for other ministries. God, I believe, uses many different types of personalities to accomplish His purposes in the ministry, for equally as many different types of followers, whom they serve. The one thing the Lord cannot tolerate, is false doctrine. When ministries, knowingly accept and promote social doctrines that are not only contrary to His Word, but are also an abomination in His sight, then we as Christians are called to be wise and set ourselves apart from such demonic activity as quickly as possible. It is through these false doctrines, that the devil gets a foothold in the churches and in our lives.
We see institutional churches which have not only rejected the divinity of Jesus, but have also denounced the inerrancy of God’s Word, the Bible. Many of the shepherds are so deceived, that the Lord’s sheep are being steadily led to the edge of the precipice, where innocent ones are being ushered to their destruction. As we look at the theological colleges that are churning out such false doctrines, we are looking at the source of the trouble, where the secular humanist religion is quickly replacing the Word of God. How the devil loves to see these teachings filling the snake infested waters of the institutional church! Coming on board with this problem are the homosexual and radical feminist moves, promoting the red apple that the devil fed to Eve. “After all, aren’t all people equal and good?” they say. They ask us who we are to judge their morals, as they hurl at us the words of ‘tolerance’ and ‘discrimination’, just to completely overcome any traces of resistance that might oppose their causes. Herein lies the danger, when Christians adopt philosophies and policies, that are not compatible with the truths of the Bible. To allow one denial of any part of the Word, is like leaven to bread. It leads to the body becoming puffed up and full of increasingly more and more sinful practices.
If God’s people continue to do their own denominational thing and ignore the whole body, then God’s plan for the unity of His true church is greatly jeopardized. He wants us to come together in the one and only way it can be done, and that is to ally in our common passion and love for Jesus and for His true Word, the Bible. This would promote a covenant move in this country, that would allow Christians of all denominations to have a vehicle through which they would be given a voice to be heard by a government that now seems only to respond to the strongest voice. This voice often comes from a very powerful small minority group, which uses the Charter of Rights to alter the Christian nature of our country. The large powerless majority is left silenced on matters regarding the direction in which the country is being led.
Polls continue to show that Christians are in the majority in Canada, but how would we know that, and where is the evidence of this? The media, with its liberal control, is reluctant to give coverage to Christian perspectives, and increasingly regards such views as belonging to the misguided brothers of the far superior academic world. The greatest danger that I see surfacing now, is that which is coming from some of our most acclaimed Christian writers and reporters. They have begun to advocate silence to the brethren, stating that there is absolutely no role to play in politics for Christians. They even have adopted the politically correct terms of the enemy, such as “Religious Right” to describe politically active Christians. These same accusers seem to have lost the true meaning of the words Right and Wrong as we know them, in their application to the moral principles which we Christians fiercely guard, as opposed to suggesting any sort of party allegiance.
Can you imagine if Moses had taken a stand by saying, “Sorry Lord, But I don’t think that we should become involved with politics by going to Pharaoh with national demands.” Then too, was God slightly off track by sending His prophets before kings and ruling powers, constantly calling for repentance and a national change of heart that would call forth the nation, Israel, out of idolatry and back to God?
Woe to a divided body that does not seek unity outside of theology. The Lord wants to work His purposes through us, by our becoming the vessels he can use to change this nation and restore the covenant we have with Him, in which He shall “have dominion from sea to sea.” His name once more would be spoken in the schools, as prayer Bible study become part of a child’s everyday experience. Judges would be required to restore the ten commandments, as the real basis for justice in this land, not a man-made Charter of Rights that removes the notion of Biblical morality and replaces it with the term equality, making all religions and cultures equal. Society is being forced to accept new definitions of old standards for which there once was a moral basis, but for which there is now nothing more than a guide-line of a ‘feel-good-theory’.
Come together all Christians of this land and repent, for the hour of the Lord’s coming is near. Let us raise a noise in this nation so loud that even the stones will cry out with us. Let us unite and become a true bride of the Church, for whom Jesus is returning. No longer would we be silent, but would follow in the footsteps of the apostles, who were commissioned to go forth into the city, then into the nation, and then into all the world, standing up for and carrying the banner of Christ. This will be an army of soldiers, seeking to repossess and restore Christianity to the land. Silence has been the enemy. Let us put him under our feet and ride forth with the Lord to victory.
OH, TO CRAWL THROUGH THE GATES
June 7, 1999
Oh, to crawl through the gates! The cry of my heart is that the Father will sustain my strength and my loyalty to Him, even though I am flattened by the enemy and can no longer walk. O Lord, my Lord, hold me so tightly, that we shall be braided together in a way that will not allow me to be separated from you. You are my God, and I am yours. Never let me be apart from your love.
To survive the battle that is ahead, we must be prepared to limp or crawl, in order to make it over the finish line. The Lord has warned us that we need to endure unto the end. We cannot succumb to the devices of the devil. How easy it is to say, “Oh well, what difference does it make, if we allow homosexual marriages? Do they not love like you and I do? Then too, why should couples not live together in a sexual relationship outside of marriage if they choose to do so? Is it not better to settle differences before marriage, rather than afterward?” Should we really be allowed to spank our little darlings? Dr. Spock has laid down the ground rules and said, “No, no, let them freely express their emotions, or their sense of self-worth could be damaged for life.” The same is said in the school rooms. “Teachers, naughty, naughty! Free expression is more important than discipline. Your authority may be undermined, but look at how you are building up the individual’s sense of self.” What complete and utter foolishness!
All of these false messages of the enemy, are breaking down our society and leading to man’s complete depravity, which Jesus predicted would occur in these end times. The family is the first institution created by God, being a relationship between a man and a woman, and their offspring. The only form of sexual love that God endorses, is between a man and a woman who are committed to each other within the confines of marriage. Any other perverted sexual acts outside of marriage, are nothing more than addictive lusts of the flesh, that deceive the perpetrator. Has God not given us commandments by which to live, one of which says, “Thou shall not commit adultery.”? Do we think these are just ten suggestions, or does God clearly state His plan for the human race, that has our best interests at stake? Over and above the number of sexually transmitted diseases that our promiscuous society today, honour is not given to the Father, when we do not respect this plan. His righteous character, is never compatible with our sin.
God has required us to raise our children with discipline and the fear and admonition of the Lord. To leave children to their own devices of the heart, without there being any consequences for their actions, is to create a violent and emotionally disturbed society of young people. Then to further remove authority from the teachers in the classroom, is insanity. We now are seeing the results, when this violent behaviour leads to shootings and death. Students and teachers are being asked daily to put their lives on the line, as they enter their classrooms.
Oh, Christians, repent of having created our own Babylon right here in Canada. Are we ready to come together now, as a voice for change in this land, so that Christ and His Law may rule supreme once more, as we become a haven of refuge to a world gone wild? Sustain us Father, in our battle, so that we may never bow to the secular humanistic demands of the enemy. Keep us in Your protective presence, even if it means crawling on our hands and knees to the finish line. The forces of the enemy coming against us will be powerful, but greater are You in me, than is the world in me, and great will be our victory.
FREEDOM IS A GIFT FROM GOD
June 8, 1999
Freedom is a gift from God. Democracy has taken us out of the hands of Caesar, and turned the government over to the people. In North America, we squarely placed this gift back into the hands of God, as we covenanted with Him, so that He should have rulership over the land. In so doing this, we became His people and the vessels through whom He should rule the nation. If we, as Christians, abscond from our role of covenant keepers, then who would fill our shoes? For Christians to not be actively vigilant in this country, would be to sin against God. How different is this act to the one that took place in the garden of Eden? Has God not tried over and over, through ancient times and modern times to give us the gift of His presence in the land, with His guiding hand over our lives? The minute we are blessed, the enemy lures us away with his deceptive messages.
God created man and planted us squarely in the centre of the garden, with but one command that we were to obey Him, and we then would be partakers of not only eternal life, but of the beauty of His presence with us. We would have the opportunity for awesome communion with the Father, as we walked with Him in the cool of the day, yet we chose another path, with the result that sin entered our lives, and man was now doomed to die. God’s wrath was so aroused by our sinful natures and practises, that He brought a flood upon the earth, saving only, the seed through Noah, that would produce His nation Israel.
God next called a people to Himself, that He would lead to the promised land, where He desired to bestow upon them, the gifts of fruitfulness and plenty. All that was required was that His people worship and obey only Him. God chose individuals, such as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to lead His people, all of whom had special relationships with God. Then Moses, Joshua, and David were again chosen vessels, who had special face to face relationships with the great Jehovah. Continually, the people rebelled and did not obey as they embraced false idols. Again, instead of possessing the land, and ridding themselves of these idols, so that they might worship the one true God, they chose to walk away until His wrath brought destruction upon their nation. He sent His prophets to call His people to repentance and restoration, but they rejected and persecuted these anointed men of God. Eventually, His mercy gave way to wrath and Israel was scattered to the four corners of the earth, with the result that the Jewish people have been suffering from persecution ever since.
Canada, in choosing to be a God-fearing nation, like Israel was blessed with the gifts of freedom, peace and the fruits of the land. Now as a nation, we have chosen to walk away, and consequently, we are about to feel the judgment of His wrath. We have allowed the forces of the enemy to lead us astray, as we embrace all forms of moral decadence, even asking for God’s very name to be removed from the centre of our government. We, the church, have allowed these forces to gain a stronghold, while we cowered in silence in our safe pews.
Woe to this nation if we do not repent, so that we might receive the same power, that Jesus bestowed upon His people at Pentecost. He said we have the power to put the enemy under our feet and squash it. Will we be salt and light to this nation, or will we fail our Lord, who is returning, not only for His pure and spotless bride, but also to rule and reign over all nations. Will He judge those who have said that we must not be involved in the affairs of the land as Christians, or will He embrace them as His bride? I believe He will reject the institution and come only for His apostolic people, who have been willing to move into their cities, into their nations, and ultimately into the world. He wants a bride like Joshua and Caleb, who will move in faith and possess the land. If we Christians, here in Canada, do not wake up and move out with that same kind of faith, I am afraid that earthquakes, famine and pestilence will come upon us, and just as the men of Israel died in the wilderness, so too will we be left behind to roam the wilderness and die.
ALL THE RICHES AND SPLENDOR OF SOLOMON
June 11, 1999
All the riches and splendour of Solomon, could not equal the blessings which the Lord has showered upon Canada. Just as a temple built of cedar and gold could not prevent corruption, neither could a God-fearing nation stop the decay that eventually came from within. Would a building of cedar and gold not be a splendid sight to behold? Yet, I wonder, were there comfortable sofas and armchairs or running water in Solomon’s house? Could he wake up to the feel of a nice warm shower simply by the turn of a tap? Could he turn on television and see all the world news, by just pushing a button? Could he step into an unharnessed vehicle, and ride great distances in comfort?
With all the gifts which God bestowed upon Solomon, they did not equal the blessings poured onto Canadians, even though he were richer perhaps, than any other man of his time. As well, he was given the gift of wisdom, greater than that of other men, and yet we see herein the breeding grounds of corruptibility. The ark resided in the temple with the glory of God hanging as a cloud over it, and still man’s inclination was to walk away from his covenant with the Lord, knowing that His presence and power could depart. Had God not instructed His people that if they would honour His name and obey His commandments and worship no other gods, that He would be their God, and they would be His people receiving all the benefits of such a relationship.
O people of Canada, how foolish we have been, as we follow the route of Solomon. Will mankind ever learn what it means to honour God’s covenant with us, and to obey and worship only Him? We, of this land, have walked away from our covenant with God, which put Him at the centre of our nation. Now, certain parliamentarians are demanding that we erase his name from the parliament buildings, from our laws, and ultimately from the very life and worship that has belonged to this, a Christian, God-fearing nation. Will we, the church, remain silent, as the enemy takes possession of God’s land? Will God remain silent as we allow this to happen, or will he cut off the water, turn off the gas, stop the electricity, and bring famine to this once blessed land?
O Church of God, you shall be held accountable in the day of His wrath, when the Lamb of God comes roaring as the Lion of Judah. He shall cry out for His bride and say “Where were you, when My name was removed from this land?” Even Solomon repented of his sins. Will we as a nation of churches and praying people repent, or will we be lost to our own devices? The time is short. Hear my cry, O people of Canada. Come together in repentance for the sins of this nation. Let us cry to the Father to be merciful with us, a very sinful people. Bride of Christ, come forth and repossess this land for your bridegroom. Be pure and ready for His return. Turn the hearts of the children back to the Father, and restore His name to this land.
Hear our cries, O Lord our God, we beseech you to hear our cries!
PRAYER FOR REPENTANCE FOR THE NATION
O Lord, I am made to think of the suffering and dying Christians around the world who are enduring persecution, especially those in India and China. I pray for their safety, as I think of how in many cases, they value You over life itself. Are they not stronger in their relationship with You, than most Canadians are? We are so blessed relative to their poverty, yet I wonder, have our comforts and complacency placed a stumbling block before us?
Will we be ready to ride the horses beside the heavenly army, or shall we lose our crowns that can only be earned as we press closer to You, ignoring the costs that go with being disciples? I pray the Canadian Christians no longer remain silent, but come forth in unity with one strong voice to claim back this land that we allowed to be handed over to the enemy. Open our eyes and ears Lord, so that we might hear Your cry to the bride to come together with You to be heard, as we become salt and light to the nation.
Let us purify ourselves in repentance, first for our individual sins, then for our national sins, and finally, be ready to take our places on the battlefield, girding our waists with truth, wearing our helmets of salvation, and taking up our swords of the Spirit. It is with repenting hearts that we cry to You and ask Your forgiveness, O Father, that You might restore this land to Your Kingship in the schools, in the courts, and in the governments.
Come, O Lord come, and restore this land of Canada!
