He brought me to the banqueting house,
And His banner over me was love.
Sustain me with cakes of raisins,
Refresh me with apples,
For I am lovesick.
Song of Solomon 2: 4-5
A garden enclosed
Is my sister, my spouse,
A spring shut up,
A fountain sealed.
Song of Solomon 4: 12
You who dwell in the gardens,
The companions listen to your voice—
Let me hear it!
Song of Solomon 8: 13
New King James Version
INTRODUCTION
It is interesting to note, how this is the mouth that speaks of love. So often a man will give roses to his loved one to show his love for her. Jesus is referred to as the Rose of Sharon, and the Spirit of the love of Jesus is symbolized in the scent of the Rose. God offered man a whole garden of love, as He placed him in the garden of Eden. He gave us the promise that He would walk with us and be our God, and we would be His people. Yet there was one stipulation. We were not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or we would then surely die. Still, man chose the stench of sickness and death, with the vileness that Satan offered, over the scent of our Lord.
God sent the Lord Jesus Christ to save us from our own sinfulness and wickedness. When we refuse to accept the anointed and chosen ones of God, we begin to strategize, and form our own leadership agendas, which place us in as much rebellion as was Adam in the garden. God wants us to return to the garden and walk in harmony with Him in a world of peace, while at the same time, knowing the joy of the Lord. He wants us to enjoy all of the scents available to us, that bring the love of Jesus to our hearts.
In honouring God in a covenant relationship, Canada became a veritable garden of bounty and blessings. She has been a chosen land, and I believe He wants to use her for the healing of the nations. But she has walked away into sinfulness and idolatry. The Lord wants us to join together as His church and bride, in order to be salt and light to this nation. He is calling us together in an alliance of covenanting people who want Jesus, not Satan, to reign in this land. Will you come together in this body and speak truth into the Land? Will you hear the Spirit and the bride, as they call. This is the hour to be heard, and to make a difference in the nation, for the Lord is coming soon and he will be looking for His bride. Will you know Him? Will He know you? We must throw away our filthy clothes and dress ourselves in white linen. Let us repent of the sins of this nation, and then pray to our God to lead us all the way back to the garden, which we once enjoyed in this country. Put on your armour in readiness to move in to repossess the land, and then to go out to all the nations of the world.
PSALM 1
Feb. 12, 2000
My soul does magnify the Lord, and all that is in me seeks His presence. He is like a wine to my senses, that brings peace and rest and a respite from the cares of the world.
I feel a drunkenness of love, as I sup with Him at the table. I desire nothing but His presence, I desire only Him.
O Lord, my Lord, come and be with your servant. Mould me to Your will so that we might sway together with the wind. When it blows, we shall move as one. Enter me Holy Spirit, and blow the breath of life into me. Bring my Lord ever closer and deeper into my very soul. Lift up my heart in joy, that I might rise to His demands.
Love of my life, Master of my soul, carry me to the heights You desire for me. Take me to the top of the stairs, so I may rest and abide in Your chamber. Let me be the bride for whom You search. Take my heart and cleanse it, so I may be clothed in white linen, suitable for such a Bridegroom.
My weakness assails my soul. I long for the intimacy of Your touch. O Husband, full of grace and love, I seek Your face, that I might know You and come into deep communion with You.
What matters gold and silver? Can they offer you love and joy? Can streets paved in precious jewels make for a joyous walk? I seek only my lover, my master, my protector.
Take me to Your garden, let me rest among the flowers and smell the scent of the rose. I seek only You, for You are my desire.
Precious Lord, come, remove the lattice before my eyes, so that I may see and know You more clearly. You are mine and I am yours. Take me in Your arms and keep me near Your heart for evermore. Amen.
PSALM 2
Feb. 12, 2000
This is the day the Lord has made. The sun shines on those who seek Him and open to His knock. Do not tarry until the time is right, lest He should disappear as quickly as He comes.
Do the cares of the world engulf our beings? Do they put chains around us and bind us? What good is it to cry “Lord, Lord”, yet respond not to His seeking? Do we desire to walk in the garden with the Lord in the cool of the day, or do mundane worries steal our thoughts away? How can the Lord know us, if we are but busy bees? Is this the kind of bride He would seek, desiring but a moment of our time, instead of our all-encompassing attention?
The Lord is seeking hearts where the doors are constantly open to His approach. Lord, lift my worries, take away my concerns. Take the yoke of my burdens onto Your shoulders. Draw me near to the well, so I may drink of Thee. Give me the waters from which I might quench my thirst.
O Lord, my Lord, I yearn to satisfy my soul in You. Let the world dim, as Your light grows strong and blinds me to all others. Let only You be the desire of my life.
Remove those things which draw me away from Your presence. I pray, O Lord, that I draw ever closer to You, until we are tied together as one, so that nothing can draw me away from that love that binds me to Your will.
Come Lord, come. Open the gates to Your garden, so that we may dwell together there in joy and in peace for evermore. Amen.
PSALM 3
Feb. 12, 2000
Where, my Lord, does Eden lie? Is it in the land, or is it in Your bosom? Is it not at the heart of Your desire, a place for communion with Your creation and with mankind? Is it not a place for our Spirits to unite with You, and walk in harmony together, O mighty Creator of all things?
It is by our will that we make the choice, for You are ever there and ready to walk with us. It is Your desire to talk with us, that we might hear Your voice.
O fallen man, how foolish and lacking in wisdom are we! Are the lures of the devil so great, that we choose to share his cup with all its vile tastes? Would we choose to let him into this beautiful garden and bring destruction to its beauty and death to its plants? The roots were so white, but the plants seek new light, as they wither and die.
I travail in labour as earth strives to bring forth her salvation. The stress increases, as the pains come closer together. O Lord, come forth into this world, that we might walk together in the garden once more.
Claim Your bride, whose passion is only for You. Let us be together and walk in the cool of the evening, as we savour every moment of Your peace and joy. O Love of my life, let us spend our twilight hours together in Eden, where all is beauty and perfection in a garden of love and intimacy. Amen.
PSALM 4
Feb. 12, 2000
O David, your music echoes down through the annals of time. I can hear your harp and the longings of your soul, as your words float before me.
Did you not walk in the garden with the Lord? Did you not know His presence as you communed with Him in the fields while tending your flocks? How you must have gained strength, being alone in communion with God!
Did he show you what it would mean to be king? Did you travel into the heavenlies and receive a foreshadowing of the cross which you would have to bear for Him, the Lord of the universe?
O chosen of God, what a mighty calling was yours! Satan thrust his challenge before you, when you were yet but a boy. Still, your heart was ready and open to God.
O repenting heart of a king, who came in sinfulness before the Lord, did your God, in all His grace not deliver you and lift you up before your enemies? Did He not lead you in song and praise and worship, before His very throne?
How blessed we are, for the songs of a repentant heart and the tunes of its glorious victories! For it is not for the battles which you have won, that we rejoice in your music, but for your love of God and your passion for His ways.
O David, mighty warrior and king over kings,
Lead us to the rapture, of a heart that sings.
Take us to the garden, lead us to the Lord,
Pierce into our souls with your music, like a sword.
O great man of ancient days, you, who made a city your own, I honour you and sing praises with you. Come worship the Lord, and bring music to my soul.
Amen.
PSALM 5
Feb. 12, 2000
O Lord, Aaron’s rod lies preserved in the Ark of the Covenant. Does it not speak to us of murmuring and rebellion? How long O Lord, will it be with us? Will they ever be murmuring among themselves?
Is not Your calling a garden unto man? Is not your choosing like a budding rod to the congregation? Will it be raised before them once more, so that they will know the mighty wrath of God for those who come against Him? To touch God’s anointed, is to reach to the hand of the Lord, calling forth His chastisement. O that He might be merciful in these days of a rebellious people!
We pray Lord, as we remember that the manna still rests within. Will we again choose disobedience, causing our own wilderness experience? Will we once be afraid, that we shall fail to follow and obey Your calling?
O Lord, as you seek to restore the covenant in this land, let the Ark go before us with the cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. Remind us, O Lord, of the rod as a testimony to our rebellion in the camp.
Just as You answered Moses’ prayer for deliverance for Miriam, answer our prayers, O Lord we beseech You, so that they too, might not die. Though they be taken out Lord, we pray that You bring them back in.
We are at a time of decision. Will we honour the commandments in this nation, or will we once more live by the daily manna in the wilderness and be reminded of the testimony of the rod?
Great, O Lord, is Your desire for a faithful and obedient people, but so too, is the greatness of Your wrath against those who lead us into rebellion.
O Lord Jesus, give us this day, the faith and power to obey. Give us the strength to repossess the land and to stand firm against the murmuring of Satan, whose one desire is to steal us away from our inheritance. Amen.
PSALM 6
Feb. 12, 2000
This is the day that the Lord has made. Give joyful praises unto Him.
Sing with tambourines and dancing.
Great shall be My name in all this land. The weak shall rise and show My power. I shall use those things that seem foolish, to comfort the wise.
A chosen child shall lead, for her understanding is not from books and overly-wise teachers. Her understanding comes from Me, and from the revelation of heavenly visions. She has come into My garden and has shared the love and peace that can only come from a relationship with Me.
Woe to those who have tried to break her, and have tried to destroy her fellowship in the body. My fury shall go out to them. I have placed her as a babe in their care, yet they have abandoned her by the wayside. They have mocked her and tried to strip her, but I have clothed her in My robe and My mantle. I have wrapped her in My love, and have taken her to the Father. There, she has sat at His table and has dwelt in His throne room.
Yea, men of the world, who would bring harm to my servant, beware! My mighty hand shall level your good works and cause you to bow in perplexity.
You have spoken the Word, but you have not stepped out alone courageously, as has she. Yet, still you debase her.
Do you desire to strike down My works in another? Do you not see that I am preparing a mighty plan in these awesome days, when tribulation is about to come upon you?
Where is my priesthood, who is supposed to be guarding my sheep instead of destroying them? My wrath shall come against them, as swiftly as I sent Miriam from the camp.
Hear the words of the Spirit and the Bride. Repent, and clothe yourselves in white linen.
O my Lord, I pray that You destroy not my foes, but remove the blinders from their eyes. Lift them Up and away from their agendas. Remove all pride from their walks.
Lord, cleanse my heart, as I bow before You, lest I should seek any vengeance, that belongs only to You. Spare them Lord, that they may remount their horses. Cleanse me Lord, that I might ride with them in true unity as it should be.
Prepare, O my God, the way of the Lord. Give us the patterns, show us the principles, let us heed Your precepts. Let us never strategize, ourselves, for only You shall be our leader, and only You have the master plan. Keep us safe from the enemy, Lord, enclose us in Your garden, enfold us in Your robe.
O Lord my Lord, I seek only Your face. Reveal to me Your glory, so that I may be a light and salt to this nation. Give me the strength Lord, to be a mighty Warrior like my father, David. Let us share in praise to the Lord of the universe and the captain of our fate.
PSALM 7
Feb. 13, 2000
The Word is a garden unto the Lord. Herein, grow the flowers, the scent of which engulfs us and the beauty of which surrounds us. Yet, they are for picking. They are for placing in a beautiful bouquet, that is especially for you, and of your own design. The Lord has a pattern that He lays before you.
Come precious child, see this beautiful display that I have created just for you. No one else shall have the same arrangement, and there will be no other vessel quite like your container.
O children of men, come walk with Me, get to know Me. I want you to love Me and walk in My garden, that we may fellowship together. I will lavish you with the gift of My love, I will shower you with My affection.
O Lord, if only I could take Your hand and walk with You. I desire to be bound to You as a bride to her bridegroom, with an eternity of love spreading before me. My heart has been aroused, O Lord, and nothing else will satisfy Me. Come my precious child, come into My garden, for now the gate will open wide. I have seen your manifestations, I have heard your requests, but now I feel your passion. I want a bride who will passionately love Me, whose desire is for Me alone. I will require a faithfulness and obedience that will take you from this world and conform you to Myself. Will you be satisfied to come unto Me?
My Lord, my yoke has been heavy and my burden great, but You have come into my life and taken them away. Mine enemy has worn me down, but now I stand tall before them. You have lifted me up. Take me into Your garden, and let me rest with You in Your chambers. Let me eat at Your table. My desire is only for You.
I heard Your call. Come take me, O Lord, for I give You my all. Amen.
PSALM 8
Feb. 13, 2000
Where are the gatekeepers of My garden? Have they kept My people out?
Where are My guides that show them the paths?
I have prepared a garden for man from the beginning of time, yet I cannot find my people with whom I desire fellowship. Must I break down the barriers that keep them away? Must I shout for them to hear the call of the Spirit? Must I blind them with light, before they know Who I am? Need I take away the scales from their eyes, before They can see?
Oh yes, My people, and more. I chastise and I break and I strip those I love. I knock at the door and say follow Me. I will draw you to Me, but the choice is always yours. Will you put your hand to the plow, and not look back?
I am a gracious God, a loving God, and I am ever merciful unto you. Yet, you have chosen wickedness and are now in a world of sin. Satan has a free reign. Violence and vileness have become your cup.
I have sent My Son. He is the truth, the way, and the life. He is your salvation. Still, you choose to not recognize His name in your land. You choose to take down my laws and to stop public prayer.
O My people, I shall not always strive with you. My judgment shall come quickly upon your land. We have a covenant, and to that you must return or I shall scatter you as in the sifting of the grain by the wind. You shall become as the chaff that falls to the ground and is blown away. You shall be utterly destroyed.
O Lord, Your mercy endures forever. Look upon this nation with favour. Lift us from our sinfulness and bring healing to the land.
O Lord, of my heart, I cry to You to bring forth Your covenanting people, so that we might speak life into a nation and return it back to You. Let us come together and bear the fruit of our revival and our new birth in the Spirit.
Awaken our hearts, Lord, to Your calling this day. Give us the wisdom to see, and the desire to do Your will, as we follow Your call. Lead us into the land, so that we are once more in unity and purpose with You, our Lord and Saviour of this nation.
CONCLUDING WORDS
Creation started in the garden, whence we came and where we shall return. We shall again walk in the coolness of the evening with our Lord and God. Ultimately, we shall return forever to the bosom of the Father. But we may only do so in a glorified body and one that can share in righteousness with Him. The Lord can not look upon sinfulness, so we must be a redeemed people. I say to you, “Is this a nation of righteousness and redemption? Are we leading our children to God, or away from Him? Are we teaching them to know Jesus as our Saviour, or are we telling them to mock Him, as we remove the ten commandments, forbid His name to be spoken, and disallow prayer, both in the schools and the market place?
What kind of an example has our parliament been to the people? This is our elected body that should be preserving our heritage in accordance with the desires of the majority that elected them, and not in accordance with minorities, who are controlling them. Where are our Christian churches, who remain in silence on this issue? Is it because we are too busy with our mundane cares of the world to look at the state of our nation? Could it be because we have not had a unified voice?
As a messenger from the mighty God Himself, I call in particular to the various Canadian Christian associations, and to the people themselves, to listen to His desire for this time. The Lord is coming soon for His bride. He wants a people to be a true church and to raise His name in all of the land. He wants unity in a fruit-bearing body, one that will not only pray, but one that will act. There must be rebirth in the Spirit, and if this has taken place you will know His voice. The Lord God is one, and of a single purpose. He does not give mixed messages. Are you in tune with the Spirit? Can you hear His call, or are you working on your own agendas?
Come people of God, get down on your knees and listen to what the Lord is saying, at this time. Come freely asking not that your will be done, but that His will be done. The time is short, and the hour draws near. Will you walk in the garden again with the Lord, or will you choose once more to remain walking with sin in the land? Wake up, O bride of Christ, and come forth, for the Spirit is calling you to be at His side. Choose this day whom you will serve.
PRAYER FOR UNITY OF THE BODY
I pray Lord, for this nation, that You might bring healing to the land. As our nation heals Lord, may the sinfulness be drawn out, like an infection being drawn from a wound. I pray Lord, that You use Canada to lead into the nations of the world. I pray that You open the eyes that have been closed too long to what is happening to our covenant with You in this land. No nation can walk away from God and survive. Is there one example in all of history of such a thing? Let our philosophers, our teachers, our preachers and our researchers ask the same questions about Godly truthfulness, that they ask about scientific truths. Let them see that the laws of God are as irrefutable as are any scientifically proven laws.
Lord destroy the secular humanistic thinking that says there are no truths in God, but rather, there are only those truths which man sees to be uniquely truth from within himself. Destroy, I pray, this new age thinking that focuses inward and not upward. Restore in each one of us Lord, a rightful mind, one in unity with You, in order to bring the truth of the Word of God back into the land. Lord, I pray that You restore the institutional church by returning it to the Word, while at the same time, destroying the buildings and the walls if necessary, to bring us into unity within the body, and into a unity with You. Then, and only then, will our covenant be restored in this land.
Make us a covenanting people, Lord, a people seeking Your face. Let us stop dancing at the foot of the mountain and begin climbing, so that we might become one with Your purposes. Lord, bring us together in Your alliance, in Your covenanting body, that will be willing to call for the return of Christ to the centre of our lives. Let us be His bride, who through her passion for Him, will shout His name throughout this nation. Lord, I pray that Your will be done. I pray that the blood You shed for us shall bring salvation to this nation, and in turn, Canada then, shall be surrounded and protected by a circle of this same blood.
O Lord, I raise up my heart in supplication. Restore us to the garden in a new state of righteousness, so that we as a people, once more may walk in harmony and love with You. This I ask in Your name my precious Jesus, King of kings, and Lord of lords. Amen
