Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

Job was a man of redemption who came into relationship with God by coming to know who God was and just how insignificant he was beside Him – somewhat like a small ant on an ant-hill, the size of the world. His life was spent doing the best he could for his family and he had established himself as a good man, blameless in the sight of God as one who feared Him and shunned evil.
It appeared all was going well for Job, but there was no sign he had ever passed through the wilderness testing of life. It was about to come. God was going to test and draw him, to see if he were truly worthy of the rewards of the next world, which heaven has to offer, by overcoming the lure of Satan to rebel against God.
The Israelites were God’s chosen people whom, like Job, He was going to prepare to receive His blessings of heaven. In turn, they were to be witnesses to the world of the obvious differences between the benefits of God ruling over their lives versus the gentile rule of man under Satan. They were to obey and allow God’s plan to work – where He would demonstrate His power to bring victory for them over the enemy every time, until the enemy would recognize that the only victory there is over life lies in the hands of God. Ultimately, all nations will bow to only God on this earth, and will experience the exceptionalism of His kingdom on earth. America was but a hint of a witness to the world of the coming kingdom, as was Israel supposed to be, but never was.
Now, the Israelites’ Job-type testing took place in the wilderness of the Sinai, with those deemed worthy and righteous enough to enter the Land coming under the leadership of Joshua, as God’s, and not man’s, chosen leader of the people. He led them into the Promised Land and followed instructions as best he could for success in keeping the Land. Before he died, he gave a strong message to his people of God, true Jobs, tried and redeemed. He stated that Israel would have rest from the enemies around, as did America, as long as she honored God, and honored Him, alone.
Joshua, the forerunner of Jesus, was as such, a modern-day Elihu of the book of Job. He reminded the people that they had been given their own parcels of land, which belonged to them and were not up for grabs by the gentile nations around them. They were positioned among these nations of the world, but they were also separated from them by the hedge of God’s protection.
Therefore, his message to the people was to keep the Law of truth and never get involved with the cults. They were not to mention their names, swear by them, or bow down to them, which, if they were to do so, would end in praying to their gods, rather than to God. You could say that it would be rather like the public silent prayers we now indulge in, in America, where heads bow to the gods of one’s choice, to avoid being intolerant of any pagan god out there.
If they should choose to disobey and marry themselves to the pagans or gentiles, they were to know for certain that the Lord God would no longer drive out these nations from before them. They would present snares and traps for the Israelites, be as scourges in their sides and thorns in their eyes, which King Zedekiah finally discovered, before being taken off to Babylon. They would perish from the good Land, which God wanted them to possess, just as America will be handed over to the God-haters they have so willingly chosen over God and have not kept out of the land.
Joshua reminded the people that not one thing had failed that was of the Word of God, nor will it ever fail; His Word is as solid today as yesterday. In the same manner as He gave to Israel and America good things, so will He give the harmful things, which go with being like the other nations ruled by Satan’s religions and their gods. The god of Islam and the god of Mormonism are not the God of spiritual Israel, nor are they the God who established Israel and America to be His people. Once they bow to these false gods, it is only a matter of time until they perish quickly from the land (see Joshua, chapter 23).
We have had nearly 3400 years to get this message, and we still don’t get it, as a people blessed by God like no other nation. No wonder the book of Proverbs is full of advice for fools who never learn the lessons of life. Review your history going back to Abraham.
He was a man who had to come to the other side from the east side of the spiritual empire river of Babylon, from Ur to cross over the waters and come to a new land where the spiritual waters surrounding it were a river from above again as they were in the Garden. For America, it was westward over the sea in a somewhat similar manner as it had been for Moses who led Israel through the sea to the other side and to liberty from the first religious empire of Egypt. God turned those waters to blood as it will become again today, when Satan tries to take control of that same Red Sea over which God has the power.
How very stupid of Obama and America to send any financial support to this enemy of God by thinking they can escape the coming bloodbath! God not only took His people through the sea, but He also crossed them over the waters of the Jordan that could have swept them away to the Dead Sea. Instead, He piled up those waters all the way back to a place called Adam, so that all mankind might be saved from the curse of sin.
Now, tell me, would you not think mankind would be grateful for such an incredible gift as the gift of life? Yet, look at what the Israel of Judaism did to Jesus, and then look at yourselves and what the spiritual Israel of Christianity has done to Him here in America! Americans are about to make a choice between two men as their leader, neither of whom will uphold the saving grace of Jesus as the Son of God. Both of them will tell you that they are gods if you really get to the heart of these men and their religions.
Joshua warned Israel, once she was settled on the other side of the Jordan, that it was time to put away her false gods from the East, with the river acting like a barrier wall of truth and purity from the religion of the other side. There was to be a complete separation from the rebellious men of the Adamic inheritance by being obedient only to God as the overcomers of satanic lures. To enter such a land as that of the kingdom of heaven this would be the prerequisite. Joshua is another name for Jesus, meaning “the Lord will save!”
Joshua spoke for himself, but he was also speaking prophetically for the spiritual house of Israel, as the redeemed of this world. They will have no religion in them whatsoever, for there must be an impenetrable spiritual wall of truth between the family of Jesus, God’s household, and the lost of Satan in the wilderness of this world. The Bible was that wall for America, but it has come down with the trashing of this incredible book in this land.
Again, the fools always bubble up to the surface as slow learners; in fact, they are not learners at all. Oh yes, we have lots of ideologues, along with the academic, secular dummies piping the piper’s tune throughout the classrooms of America, raising a new generation of fools and more academic dummies who will crowd around the godless leaders as they, like sheep, are piped right over the cliff and into the sea.
And Joshua set up a large stone to be his witness. He prophesied right into the Cornerstone of Christ, as one preparing the way for another who would be “the way, the truth and the life”. Joshua was pointing to more than national salvation; he was pointing to the redeemed in Christ in a judgment that the entire world will not escape. Each and every person will be judged by whether or not one has witnessed for God or denied Him, has loved truth or the lie and whether or not one has worshiped God in spirit and in truth or, instead, has worshiped the dead gods of the dead in religion.
God does not dwell in the temples built by the hands of man. He is found only in the apostolic covenant between Jesus and His church, the witnesses to truth and never to religion. The Old Testament was buried on the mountain of Ephraim (crossover of the covenant), and the New Testament sprouted from the roots of the fig tree to become a tree, the leaves of which are for the healing of the nations. The crossover and four corners of the history of the world are found at the cross, just as there was another crossover from the East to the West and to a New World called America.
Read Joshua, chapter 24, which is sweet to the taste in the mouth but bitter to the stomach, for there is no liking of the taste of evil in the stomachs of the cupbearers of the Lord. Such is the message for a redeemed people of the Lord who make the crossover in life from the broad road to destruction onto the Way to the kingdom of God, where they will receive their rewards and treasures of heaven.
These words come from the Kingfisher of men. There is no blessing whatsoever to be found in any other god. America needs to declare the name of God loud and clear, and take up the Elijah challenge against Islam in the same way that Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal.
And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal (Allah), then follow him (1 Kings 18:21).”
