Canada Day in Retrospect

Looking back on Canada Day (no longer called Dominion Day) with all its pomp and ceremony, I felt only despair where I once had a strong feeling of patriotism. It is quite pathetic to see this country, which was a great nation under God, slipping away into oblivion under the liberal agenda to turn us into a multicultural state.
This really amounts to nothing more or less than a move toward globalization as Canada embraces the liberalism filling the rest of the world. We are now moving very quickly toward the coming One World Order, as we help Satan fulfill his desire to rule the world as the Antichrist.
It has become evident that the press has been creating an illusion while keeping the public in the dark by manipulating it according to a media agenda sparked by political correctness. It no longer reports news, but rather patterns and cuts it in the same manner as a couturier designs his/her own style.
The media must maintain this stronghold if there is to be a generation that rises up, which no longer knows anything about the truth or the heritage of our land. We are in the transitional stage now where people are asking the question, “What does it mean to be a Canadian today and where is the evidence of our heritage”.
There was no need to ask such a question when I was growing up, for everyone knew what it meant to be a Canadian. We, as Canadians, held an honorable and cherished position among the other nations of the world, viewed, perhaps, as a young one among her older brother and sister nations, but one, nevertheless, known to be rooted in God and the liberty, which His Law afforded us.
The world knew that we, as North Americans, including our sister nation next door, were a very blessed people. By resting on the truth of God’s Word, within the justice of His Law, our land could only be described as being glorious and free. We knew we stood on guard for this great land of the North, and that we were ready and willing to go to war to keep it free. In fact, many young men gave up the future when they died for their country so that we, their descendants and friends in this land, might inherit it in the freedom, which they passed on to us.
But, in turn, we have dropped the burning torch of freedom along with the blessings it held in store for us. Our freedom originated with the covenant, which was made between God and Abraham and the promise of a land for his inheritance, by which all the nations of the world would be blessed. Abraham was given a dream of great darkness and terror and, on that same day in which the covenant was made, when the sun went down a smoking oven and a burning torch passed between the divided pieces of the carcasses, which God used to mark the covenant.
Yes, we are Abraham’s inheritance, which God finally brought to America. The choice is ours as to whether or not we will carry the burning torch or, like the nation Israel before us, will experience the smoking oven, provided by the would-be-empire ruler of this world. If it is the god of religion we want, then the God of truth will give him and his smoking oven to us. Satan only offers lies and death, while God offers a kingdom, based on truth and life, which so many have chosen to mock.
I would dare to say that it would be impossible to find one child within our school system, who could tell us where our liberty originated in Canada. I would further dare to say that our illustrious Prime Minister does not fully understand whence it has come. If he had any understanding, he would not insult his fellow Canadians, by handing out their hard-earned tax dollars quite as liberally and foolishly as he does to support religious cultic behavior.
It staggers the mind to think he gave the man, Maher Arar, as much as 10.5 millions of our tax-dollars because this same man said that the country in which he still holds citizenship tortured him. How stupid we are to allow foreigners to come to this country, seeking Canadian citizenship, with all the benefits it has to offer, while, at the same time, remaining citizens of countries bent on destroying America, with Canada included in the package! Having been granted Canadian citizenship, who is a Muslim ultimately going to serve – Allah or a country under God? Surely, one can see that the religion of Islam is incompatible with our Canadian heritage in the truth of God.
How many of them ever served to the point of death in the last world war, in order to keep our country glorious and free? I would venture to say not one. Yet, we allow their religion, which glorifies the death of Christians and Jews for the sake of Islam, to be glorified in this country.
Would they ever be laid to rest in a cemetery where the poppies grow among the crosses, row on row? Of course not, for they don’t believe in Jesus or His incredible sacrifice that He made for man on the cross. This is the same Jesus of the Bible, Who rules in truth over Canada and the rest of America.
It is a fact that Muslims are taught to kill believers if, in their desire for a world ruled by Islam, the believers refuse to bow to Allah. Imagine us allowing a museum to be erected in the heart of this country, which will honor this religion, its god and its so-called prophet who is not a prophet at all! All prophets come from God’s people, the nation Israel or spiritual Israel. God does not call His prophets to serve religious cults.
Then, at the heart of the Canada Day celebration, was the supreme insult of Michaёlle Jean masquerading as the Governor General when, in fact, she refused to take a proper oath of office, sworn on the Bible. She is a mere counterfeit who serves neither God nor country in her supposed role. Her husband further served to mock Canadians as her stand-in consort dressed in casual attire, definitely not displaying the dignity required of such a position on that day. He obviously turns up his nose in mockery of Canada and her glorious heritage, no more able to fill the shoes of a dignified Prince Philip than fly to the moon.
After all, have not he and his wife been photographed sitting together with separatists toasting the separation of Quebec and the breakup of Canada? Martin and his liberal lackeys played us for fools when they made this appointment. It was a plain and simple act of treason against the Canadian people. They have been nothing but a disgrace to our country, when there are so many good and loyal Canadians who could have filled this role properly and with the dignity it deserves.
As the ultimate insult to Canada, on Canada Day, totally in keeping with her treasonous role, it is under her regime that the stamp of the Governor General’s approval was placed upon the appointment of Henry Morgentaler to receive the so-called highest honor of the land – the Order of Canada. This is a man who has murdered countless numbers of unborn babies, calling it a justified act of human rights. Human rights for whom? I fail to see how murder ever serves anyone’s rights, especially when the person involved is unable to protect him or herself from the butcher’s knife.
The Order of Canada is not something to which Canadians should aspire, since it has proven to be nothing more than a political device, which has generally been used to hand out another political plum for the liberal, left-of-centre segment of the population. How could any intelligent person call it an honor any more than he/she could call the Nobel Peace Prize anything more than the recognition of a left-of-center, political agenda?
How blind we Canadians have become! We hang on the words of such interviewers in the media as George Stroumboulopoulos who manipulates the guests on his television program, called The Hour! He puts them within boxes according to the categories of accepted liberals or rejected moralists. He loves to sway his audience causing it to mock that which is good and decent while, at the same time, endorsing that which is worldly and indecent. He is what I would call a ‘Grand Master’ of his trade in manipulating his audience. Stroumboulopoulos is obviously bent on destroying our heritage, being only one of the many out there attempting to create a different Canada from that created by our Founding Fathers.
Then, there is another media interviewer, called Willard Thiessen, who, to my way of thinking, is the best interviewer to be found on television in America. How many of you have ever heard of him? He has a television program called It’s a New Day, which is aired every day of the week, from Monday to Friday. This is a man with a heart for Canada and for the God Who rules over it, as well. He never tries to manipulate the person he interviews by inflicting any agenda of his own on anyone. Yet, the rest of the media will not recognize him or give any credit whatsoever to his ability. Rest assured that there are treasures stored up for this man in another place other than this world, where honor comes from God and not from men.
It was with great sadness that I turned the television off, as the celebrations of Canada Day got underway. It was nothing but a charade to see a former Haitian, who does not represent God or the heritage of this country, standing before Canadians, masquerading as the Governor-General of the people. It was a bit more than I could endure. What is there to celebrate when we see liberalism controlling the land and causing our borders to be opened to cults of all sorts, which will destroy our country and our heritage?
They are our children for whom I weep. They soon are going to be so indoctrinated with false messages about our heritage that there no longer will be a loyal Canadian to be found in their midst. They will become nothing more than puppets ready to hand Canada over to the coming One World Order. At this point, it will be goodbye to liberty and to the land of the free.
The name Dominion Day signified the dominion of God, Who rules over this nation from sea to sea. I didn’t make this up; it is written in stone on the parliament building of this great nation under God. Yes we were first a dominion under the monarchy of Britain, but the world monarchs are subject to the Supreme Ruler of all, Who is the King of kings, and Lord of lords, making the kings and nations of this world subject to Jesus Christ.
Liberals saw to it that the name was changed from Dominion Day to Canada Day in 1982, but a change of name cannot change the truth that God has dominion over this nation, and will judge it as He sees fit, according to what we do with Him within the land.
Within the period of the next five years, I wonder if there will be anyone left to sing, the words ‘God bless America’ and ‘God keep our Land, glorious and free’? O, Canada, will Canadians really stand on guard for thee, if they are also citizens of Syria or any Muslim country desirous of destroying our nation?
