The Mantle of a Superman

August 01, 2012

Superman had two personas – that of his true self, the super-powered man, and that of his disguise as the reporter, Clark Kent. Under cover, in his business suit and glasses, he was ineffectual, uninspiring, and, generally speaking, considered to be a wimp. He certainly did not turn the heart of Lois Lane, in his persona of Clark Kent.

On the other hand, when Clark Kent shed his business-suit covering, along with the glasses, which covered his poor eye-sight, a powerful man came forth. He was a superman, while wearing his cape or mantle of power, which allowed him to fly, as on eagle’s wings, throughout the sky to reach his destination and the troubled areas of the world. This occurred when the power and strength of his mantle were needed to make a difference between good and evil.

Superman had his beginning on the planet Krypton, where, as a baby, he was named Kal-El (the closest Hebrew meaning being “the voice of God”). He was rocketed to earth by his scientist father, moments before the planet’s destruction. There, he was adopted by a Kansas farmer and his wife, who raised him as Clark Kent, imbuing him with a strong moral compass.

Jesus created a church of supermen who, to the world, appeared to be very ordinary fishermen, unschooled and untrained laborers for the most part, who dropped their fishing nets to follow Him and become fishers of men and the voice of truth for their Lord and God. As fishermen, they had no power over the world at all, but once called by Jesus, then, taught and trained by Him, they were ready to don His mantle of power, which had been bestowed upon Jesus from above. These men would actually go out into the nations of the world, like the supermen they became, to confront the forces of evil. In their power, they would also turn the world upside down, as easily as Jesus had overturned the tables of the money-changers in the temple.

There was an aura about these transformed fishermen, which caused the religious priesthood to either recoil like snakes or attack with all the venom they could muster. They were in cahoots with the Babylonian system of government, which, in their day was Rome, as it still is in our day. In fact, the Caesar, Constantine, in recognizing the ebbing power of his empire, transferred it into a religious system, which he called Christianity. He could not deny the increasing power and growth of the church, so he chose to capitalize on it and joined it to the Roman religious system where it has been held captive, up until this day.

This is why it is called the Holy Roman Church, an institution of political, economic and religious standing with the number 666 imprinted upon it, which comes from Satan beneath and not from God above. Rome is its “unholy” city, though called otherwise, as opposed to the holy city of Jerusalem. Like Judas, the Roman Catholic Church keeps a tight hold on the money bag, but it places no emphasis on Matthew, the tax collector whom Jesus included in His tightly-knit, little group of men. Christianity would choose to evade taxes altogether, and not render unto Caesar, or the government, that which was due unto them, or unto God, that which was due unto Him.

Matthew, the tax collector, became so powerful in his covering under the mantle of Jesus that the burden fell upon him to write the first gospel of the New Testament, concerning the Kingship of Jesus. I wonder if it would have made sense for anyone other than a tax collector to have been empowered from above to accomplish such a job when, one day, mouths and the voice of the witnesses would be sealed by tax exemptions.

The superman mantle of Jesus was ripped from His apostolic church to have the business suit and glasses of Clark Kent cover it while, at the same time, the power from above departed from it. As a consequence we have been left with a wimp for a church, with very poor eye-sight indeed, which leads to lack of understanding. The world no longer responds to the compromised institution, which, instead of dealing with evil, wears the covering of the world, and does nothing to turn it upside down, under the glare of the light. It prefers to stand on the religious system, which keeps empires functioning in religious darkness under Caesar, and not in the power of Jesus, or standing on its original foundation of truth, in which rests the power from a God of truth.

Sadly, the institutions, which man mistakenly calls the church because of satanic deception, are, in fact, a product of Rome and the Babylonian system of empires. This is why we see the institutions of Christianity falling away from the original calling of Jesus to, instead, move in the direction of its Roman roots and into the ecumenical role of unity in a one-world system with the mark of the beast placed upon it, whose number is 666. It has become the mark and mantle of Christianity, but the story does not end on this note of impotence for the true apostolic church of Jesus Christ. He left it with His mantle of power and said the gates of hell would not prevail against it.

Jesus is going to pull out another little group of untrained fishermen to fish for the souls of men as the witnesses of the Kingfisher of men, removing from them their religious institutional mantle to replace it with His power mantle from the God of truth. They will return to their original foundation of truth, empowered once again as the revived apostolic church of the 21st century, very much alive and healed to have become a voice for their Lord.

Once the church has been revived within its original mantle from Jesus, it will fly empowered through the heavens on eagle’s wings wearing a mantle from above. The wings of Jesus will carry His bride to her safety on high, just like Superman carried Lois Lane to her safety on high. In response to his loving care, she became a woman besotted with her Beloved Superman.

The real Superman of this world is called Jesus, who will always fly to the rescue of those who are fighting the battle against evil, looking to the heavens for their salvation in a Man wearing the power mantle of God.
