Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

Canadian-born James Cameron was the writer, director and producer of the movie Titanic. He set about to write the human story of history within the confines of the doomed ship. Little did he understand that it was under the guiding hand of the Spirit that he had unwittingly produced an amazing story of Jesus and His bride, His church. He will save her from the world in the final moments of history just before the last of the empires of man disappears into the sea to its final resting place.
Where did the story begin? Cameron pictured all classes of men and women coming on board ship as the entirety of mankind caught in the system over which religion, economics and politics rule. They were all chained to the world in one way or another. The rich were chained by hypocrisy, pride and pretenses; the poor by religious dominance and political control, though the poor were much freer in spirit than the rich.
It was the lack of understanding without the truth, which kept the poor locked below in the lower decks. They easily got caught in the world of gambling, partying, and drinking. Still, Jesus Who had come on board was more at home with this class than the First Class, which, in its stiff-necked nature, was so prideful of its social standing in the world that it had stone for a heart.
Jesus entered into a sinking world, dressed in brown, or clothed in humility. He was able to see immediately, no matter what the class, into the heart behind the façade. Seeking a dance partner among the children of the world, He found her in a young woman caught in the society of the upper deck of First Class. Though engaged to marry within that same society, she wanted the freedom, which only God could give in that kingdom, lost beyond the horizon and unreachable by man. Her spirit soared in the freedom of her mind and in her imagination, which took her out of the death trap in which she found herself.
She dressed in the stiffness, which her society dictated, but her heart was stifled by it and the lack of freedom this society’s social mores had imposed upon her. She did not realize that only Jesus and the freedom of His Spirit could set her free, so she raced through the ship of fools like others before her had done, caught by the spirit of death, though desperately afraid of it and unknowing of the freedom, which only Jesus could give.
To begin with, she ate the wrong kind of food at the wrong table when it was the manna of heaven that her soul longed for. She attended religious services instead of seeking the truth of the Bible. Though Jesus came to seek her out at these religious meetings, the priestly and hired guardians of the system kept Him out. Try as He might to enter the religious church system, there was no way He was allowed to enter it. Society, so proud of its own elevated position among the classes, always keeps out the riff-raff from below allowing only the First Class to be seated at its table of the upper deck.
Satan had placed his claim upon the woman, keeping her in bondage as long as she was firmly seated in the pew of the religious system. He paid and bribed those whom he controlled with tax dollar exemptions by making sure no voice of truth should rise up or enter in, to oppose the political system he has set in place for world control. In the eventuality that the truth might begin to permeate his system, he would go after it with all his strength and guns. It is necessary for him to keep the ones who have the testimony of truth chained by the only chains that can bind them – doubt or lack of faith in Jesus and the Word.
Still, the bride persisted in her relationship with Jesus to break the bondage of her society and be set free. Suddenly, she was confronted by Him where He covered her and her walk that took her to the point of death in the world in which she existed. She had become weary of it all, irrespective of the fact that Satan has offered her a priceless diamond necklace, the color of her birthstone and in the shape of a heart. But the heart was nothing more than cold, lifeless cut stone, which could do nothing to alleviate her longing for freedom. It could not compare with the heart and the love of this poor stranger whom she did not know, yet had confronted her and led her to the dance where he let go of the child to take to Himself the woman.
It was a case of love at first sight. Her fiancé, Satan, tried desperately to get her to believe that Jesus was not fit to enter into her world, where there was no place for Him in her kind of society. This was where it became time for decision-making. She was going to have to deal with the fact that it was her natural mother (Eve, the mother of all living) and her only family, who had been chaining her to this world all along, and for her own sake this woman wanted to keep her there at all cost.
Not only her mother, but also her entire social group of so-called friends would reject her if she were to involve herself with this Man of such a low level of lifestyle, which they abhorred. She would be forced by her new-found love to make the choice and it would be a tough one in many respects but a wonderful one in the fact that He was able to love her so profoundly that His love could set her free.
He became the answer to all her dreams. It became a question of simple fact. Would she endure the rejection and snobbery, which would come from being caught hanging out with the lower classes on the lower deck among the free of spirit, or would she hold onto that useless heart of stone found within the black coat of death, which her fiancé, Satan, had put upon her life?
The passion and the love affair became all consuming to the point that she decided to sacrifice it all, everything she had ever valued, even her own safety, to be with her Beloved. She would do works for Him she normally would be incapable of doing, were it not for her passion. So, He was able to trust her with the job. She would unchain Jesus and reveal to the world just Who He is, but not until she would become an old woman who, like Abraham’s wife Sarah, was ready to birth of herself, the child of inheritance.
The animals of this world had been entrusted to her – some were mere fish in need of being fished from the sea, as had she been fished from that deadly sea by the Kingfisher of men, called Jesus. Had He not declared that He was the King of the World?
Having found her salvation from the sea on top of the door (Jesus), she was able to muster the strength from her passion for Him, which enabled her to blow the silver trumpet (a silver whistle), and make the last call to the disappearing lifeboats to come back for those still alive in the sea and in need of salvation. And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come (Revelation 22:17)!” This is the last call for salvation on the last page of Scripture.
At the same time, Satan, still pretending to be something he was not, and most definitely uncaring where any child’s safety was at stake, will use innocent children to the end to carry out his diabolical plans. He will deceive them and the entire world in his last attempt to separate the bride of mankind from Jesus. However, she will allow nothing to ever again come between herself and her Beloved whose name of Israel she will take as the surname of her Beloved and her Savior.
Though this is the story-line of human history, the time has reached the end, when Sarah, as the bride of Israel, a very old woman, is about to bring forth the child of spiritual inheritance. She, in fact, is the only one with the understanding that is capable of giving the world the truth, because of her relationship that she has had in a special and private way with her Beloved Jesus. She makes the necessary walk in the end to reject the heart of stone and give it back to the sea where it belongs, to embrace, instead, the love of her Beloved, who awaits her return to Him to be with Him eternally.
She is exactly who it is that the world needs at this time, the only one who has the answers. It has been searching in all the wrong places for the wrong thing, the cold stone Heart of the Ocean, which, when found, will only prove to be worthless in the face of death. She must come together with the searchers amongst the remains of the Titanic in a gathering place on the last boat, to explain what really has occurred in past history to cause her sinking.
Even the director could not have understood, though he created this magnificent story of perfect love. Her relationship with her Beloved would reveal that no stone idol of this world after which anyone might chase could ever compare with the love one can know with their Lord.
Could this great revelation have happened if the director had not been led by the Spirit to write such a story? Could the Bible have been written in any other way? The bride had to reveal her relationship with Jesus, for the truth of the incredible work of the Spirit from the moment she stood at the front of the ship in the wind of the Spirit with the One who claimed to be King of the World. It was by His guiding hand and by the passion of their love affair when He put His hand upon her person that she was brought to salvation.
The group of searchers for the heart of stone, supposedly entombed in the sea water, was a rough, uncouth group, which could only see the Titanic from a world view, not understanding the spiritual significance behind the scenes. The old woman would have to fill them in with the true story between the lines of fact and fiction, for no one else in her time had ever had such an incredible relationship as she had had with Jesus, at the point in time when the gigantic ship of the world was about to go down. Her revelation of a spiritual nature was one that she alone could relate to the others in order to give the necessary understanding for that time.
As her story unfolded to an almost disbelieving group, who could not imagine or fathom the depth of emotions she had experienced on her midnight journey of the night of all nights, lives were changed. The rough edges of the disbelieving men disappear while the believing ones no longer were drawn into the search for the heart of stone from the sea. It had become of little relevance when compared to the heart of love that Jesus has for His bride, when the ship is sinking. They could no longer doubt the life-changing effect that a relationship with Jesus could have upon mankind. In the end, this was expressed on the faces of her listeners and captured by the director, Cameron, where even the doubting of this little gathering were subdued by her life-altering tale.
She had caught the full attention of those around her, even that of her own family, who had no idea who she was or what it was that she had experienced in her lifetime. It was not until her witness was over that, as an old lady, Israel will finally throw away her stone cold Heart of the Ocean to become a bride ready to ascend the magnificent stairway to Jesus guarded by sculptured angels, situated right in the heart of the ship. We were, in fact, privileged by the director to catch a glimpse of the stairway to heaven.
Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it (Genesis 28:12). It is at the top that Jesus awaits His bride and their eternal destiny together. All those present shall part like the sea to allow her through, to make her last part of the journey to the kingdom, recognizing, at last, who they are as the King and His queen of the world, on board that sinking ship called the Titanic.
What was dead is alive again and the real love story is only about to begin. The drawing on paper of the woman of the love affair of the Bible, is all brushed clean having been rolled up like a scroll to become the reality with the truth now coming alive, no longer just a painting of a woman on paper. It gets washed very clean indeed, like the Dead Sea Scrolls having survived the ravages of time as the Word of God that cannot be destroyed.
The director depicted the entire story and without Judas, it could never be complete. Man had to see how religion deceived and the lust for money caused even the best of Jesus’ men to submit to the devil, allowing his spirits of wickedness to enter man right to the end. Jesus died for all, but if one rejects the Spirit of life that He offers for rebirth in the life-giving Spirit of God, forcing the spirit of death to depart from man, then there is no salvation by any other way. It is tantamount to putting a gun to one’s head and blowing out one’s brains.
It is, after all, the head of Satan that will be bruised according to Genesis 3:15. “He shall bruise your head.” It was head knowledge and not the Spirit of life and truth, which caused the trouble from the beginning as it found a home in the religious system attached to the governments of world-building empires.
The Titanic had its own architect from the White Star Line on board ship. The very name pointed to the false light of Lucifer who fell from heaven to masquerade on earth as the Light of God. From among the phony would-be gods of this world the most powerful ones were those of Olympus, once known as the Titans, the myth of which is honored to this day with the torch of the Olympic Games – hence the name of the ship, the Titanic. If one trusts in the Olympic torch of light and not in the torch of Israel and liberty, one will go down for believing God, as the strongest and only God of them all, did not have power over the Titans.
The laughter and merriment, the eating and marrying right to the end, will suddenly, but not without warning, turn to cries and screams of horror when the judgment of the sea comes in like a flood upon the world empires, which arose from out of it. How useless the opulence of the world will be at that moment when the academic architects behind the world systems come face to face with the judgment! They will come to the knowledge of how many innocent people have lost their lives because they believed in their lies of secularism instead of the rightness of the prophetic Biblical warnings of the Word, which warned of just such false prophets and false doctrines.
As pride drove them on, God’s own people chose to run for these gods and to partake in the Olympic races, having no idea what they were doing. They even played on deck, forming snowballs with the snow from the iceberg when, in fact, this same frozen seawater would steal their lives away in a matter of minutes.
The fifth lower compartment of the ship, or the last of the Babylonian system, would be the one that would see it all come tumbling to the ground with the Olympic torch at last extinguished. This was a ship of fools, which would not face truth or prepare for the coming disaster. They had trusted in the iron empires of Satan instead of in Jesus’ lifeboat of salvation. They trusted in the wrong gold, silver, bronze and iron, with wooden gods and hearts of stone (see Isaiah 60:17).
Only the old woman who had the rare and special relationship with Jesus could understand the big picture of the Titanic as she lay on her bed with visions of what had really happened. She chose to arise and make the walk to the stern of the boat where she had joined the treasure seekers in their gathering place and where she finally threw into the sea the heart of cold, hand-cut stone, which had been her earthly birthright. It had claimed its own, those who had loved the idols of stone and had gone down with the ship to the very bottom of the sea, but it would not be able to claim the woman whose passion and heart belonged to Jesus.
Fear the spirits of the sea for they bring separation from the Lord, unless holding His hand in the waters of this world. This is the message of the disaster of the Titanic, as seen through the eyes of the old woman who once possessed the Heart of the Ocean diamond, but rejected it for the love of Jesus. And the director captured it all.
