Is the Cross a Millstone Hanging Around Their Necks?

Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out  …from a different perspective

Is it not fascinating how our many night-time commentators and news hosts talk all around the gun-control issue while, at the same time, wearing their crosses around their necks or on their sleeves, which openly declare their Christianity? Obama, himself, is masterful at swearing on the Bible and declaring his Christian faith when it is politically expedient to do so, but when it comes to God’s Law, he can put a hatchet to every law written in the same Bible.

What the Bible calls an abomination, those who wear crosses around their necks and on their sleeves, can call an equal right and, in one sense, it is true. We all share equally in the condemnation of sin, but not all handle it the same way.

The only conclusion I can reach is that, like Adam, these cross-wearing commentators have all believed the lie that God doesn’t mean what He says about life and death. They must believe that they can stand there in their duplicity before God and He will wink at them when they proceed to the judgment throne, as they surely will, and He will simply smile down and pat them on the back for their goodness, which they believe will outweigh the evil in their lives.

Perhaps they have forgotten that the fruit of the forbidden tree is from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Perhaps they have also forgotten that God created everything good and there was no evil in His creation until their forefather, Adam, chose to eat of it and then tried to hide his sin from God. He did no better job of it than our cross-wearers will do.

Instead of God winking at sin, He is going to zero in, particularly on the issue of using His Bible for the purpose of serving one politically in public office. Some of the same public servants, who swear allegiance to the Constitution under God, go on to endorse laws, which protect evil and, in the process, cause the little ones to go astray.

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea (Matthew 18:6).”

It does not sound to me like God is going to greet these commentators and law-makers with a wink instead of severe judgment, which will fall on them like the weight of a millstone. They might as well be caught on the Titanic without lifeboats, as to think they are going to escape the judgment of God without there being severe repercussions.

How is it that understanding escapes these otherwise seemingly intelligent people when it comes to dealing with the rapidity with which school and other massacres are increasing in this corrupt society, which is replacing the old morally-correct nations of America? The French philosopher of the early nineteenth century, Alexis de Tocqueville, got it right when he said, “America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.” (Ref. page 206 – America’s God and Country Encyclopedia Of Quotations by William J. Federer).

Altering the present gun laws will do about as much good as putting a drop of clean water in a glass of muddy water, believing it will make the water clean. I am no genius, but I would suggest that most average minds can grasp this fact. One must start with clean water to have clean water or else one must introduce a purifying substance. One cannot compare this nation in which we are now raising our children to a glass of pure, clean water. The moral laws of God have been replaced with those of political correctness, which means that unless we correct the filth already in the glass, no amount of changes to the gun laws is going to give a full glass of clean water, so to speak. We will still have classrooms and a media full of filth and abominable things, which are what makes the classroom waters of our children’s lives, muddy.

The only purifier is the Bible and our politicians have stolen it from our children causing God’s little ones to sin. Here is where the problem of massacres begins. Children are receiving the message constantly that abominations are one and the same with equal rights to sin, making sin respectable in a liberal society. Why not shoot up a storm, when this is being fed to the children continuously in the media and in computer games?

Now Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton may sit before the cameras as buddy-buddies, patting each other on the back, but we would be hard pressed to believe that our God, above, is looking down on them with a smile of congratulations. I would suggest that God’s wrath is soaring to new heights at the very thought of what they are doing to our children, which is the real cause of what Al Gore calls global warming. That includes the concept of a global village raising the children instead of their families who are in dire need of the Bible in their homes and in the classrooms.

In fact, I would go so far as to suggest His wrath is building up to the boiling point as His nation, under His rule, embraces extreme left-of-center liberalism with its “No God” cry, rolling out of their mouths, like it rolled out of the mouths of the Israelites. They cried for Rome to give them Caesar, for they declared that they had no other king. They might as well have shouted in God’s face, “Phooey to heaven!” Like them, we are forcefully spitting out the same message into the face of God.

And so our brilliant commentators and government officials continue to argue over whether or not gun control or psychiatric aid would best serve the interest of our confused youth who have had God’s Word stolen from them. Here is where the confused mind begins to take shape. They are being fed satanic garbage from morning to night while the cross-wearers, in their duplicity, just don’t get what is staring them right in the face as they wrestle over it, endlessly. Duh!

If you don’t want to hear me, take a look at the statistics of the number of school massacres, which took place when the Bible was in all the schools of America and compare them to the number of school massacres taking place after it was removed and a new generation of biblical illiterates arose.

The common factor is guns, which always have been available at both times. The uncommon factor is the changed society of today, which is identified by far-left-of-center, politically-correct, progressive liberalism. This has led to increasing violence among a psychopathic group of youth, uneducated in the nature of moral correctness, which formerly belonged to a peaceful American patchwork of peace-loving people.

You who wear your crosses, are you any different from those who don’t? By embracing sin as though it is a civil right, which is being normalized, Christians cannot be seen separated from the God-haters. Don’t Roman Catholics, wearing their crosses around their necks, vote the liberal abortionists in every time? Don’t these same Catholics call the abomination of homosexuality and the idea of men marrying men, a civil right? Take their vote away and we might get back to the biblical Law of God and moral correctness as opposed to political correctness. But then, how can a hypocritical priesthood lead the flock when they present the danger, which the sheep have to face?

Even a moron can see that neither gun control nor psychiatrists are going to make a difference in controlling the massacres of the classroom. There is but one control, and it is the Word of God, the Bible, the purifier, which can teach our children the difference between right and wrong and exactly what sin is. Jesus is the Word made flesh, the truth and the way to life. We either give our children a life message from the Bible, or we give them a death message from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which will promise an eternal home in hell. How is it that the cross-wearing Christians are giving this deadly message regularly in the media and in the classrooms?

The answer is staring our pundits of the media in the face, but, with less than the sense of morons, coupled with hypocrisy, the endless, senseless argument over whether or not it is gun control or psychiatric help, which is needed, continues on. Strange, is it not, that our great political leaders hassle over this subject endlessly while, at the same time, they ship fighter planes of advanced missile technology to the enemy at the cost of billions of dollars. This cost is being carried by the same tax-payers who are crying for answers concerning their children’s welfare, for which some say there is no money available for the guards needed to guard them and protect them. I am sure that there would be no money at all available to buy Bibles for them. And the battle rages on, with the old adage being ‘stupid is as stupid does’.

Then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, “Whoever is on the Lord’s side, let him come to me (Exodus 32:26).” And the next day Moses returned to the mountain of God to intercede for the people of Israel, offering his life for theirs. And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book (Exodus 32:33).”

How in the world do we think we are going to get a glass of pure water out of our children, when we keep filling their glasses with filth? The answer is to empty them out and refill them with nothing but clean, pure water, and then keep the pure, clean water running from that day forward.
