Voice of the Kingfisher speaks out …from a different perspective

The Religion of Science
July 19, 2008
How quick our scientists are to say that such and such has been ‘scientifically proven’ and that it is now fact – that is to say, until new scientific evidence upsets the apple-cart to replace the fact with new facts! Is science a belief system? It might be worthy of the title of the ultimate religion of our day.
Like all religions, science has its apostate teachers – for example, Al Gore, a man who qualifies for the title of politician, but not scientist. He has fabricated his own religious doctrine on evidence, which the scientific community refutes overwhelmingly in numbers. Still, man prefers to believe a lie, when he will not believe the truth.
Scientists have recently become preoccupied with finding the origin of the universe and the question as to whether or not extraterrestrial beings exist. Is it not strange that they generally do not want to acknowledge spiritual life on earth but are desperate to find some ethereal beings from outer space?
Such beings are looked upon as being spiritual, non-humanoids, with powers they can exert over the lesser state of humankind. For example, we have been regaled with tales of people being snatched up, or so they would have us believe, and possibly being delivered into a black hole of outer space from which they will never return.
How the human mind loves the Batman or Superman mentality! If you don’t believe me, take a look at your TV guide to see just how often Batman and Superman are playing as re-runs. Are they only the children who watch this fiction, or are the adults not caught up in it as well?
Is our fascination with extraterrestrials not just an extension of the Batman-Superman syndrome of man’s desire for something greater than himself that possesses a kind of magical power? This same group of viewers would most likely reject the real supernatural power of a real God. They prefer to believe that Clark Kent can go into a telephone booth, make a few fast turns by which means he sheds his clothes and old appearance for the costumed look of Superman with special powers that allow him to fly.
And so, looking at some of the latest theories of our illustrious scientists, we discover they are beginning to believe that, just perhaps, the big bang, as a pure scientific theory of creation, is not quite so viable as it used to be. Even though we saw fit to teach our children it was fact, we may now have to re-program them to believe that it was never anything more than an unsubstantiated theory.
It could be a traumatic experience for them to discover that they have been deceived by the brainchild of religious Secular Humanism, working as the agent of the scientific community in the classroom. They could well come to the understanding, one day, that they have been the victims of man’s imagination, when they could have been taught the truth about God’s creation.
Do such theories have any elements of fact in them? I would suggest that there is nothing more to these theories than the belief system known as religion, formed apart from truth and lacking in evidence. Like all belief systems, such scientific thinking rests on the foundation of the lie, which first appeared the day religion reared its ugly face before Adam and Eve in the Garden.
I have quickly glanced at one of the latest theories about a cloud being responsible for the formation of the universe. Yes, my friends, they say that a gaseous cloud has set the precision of what we know to be the universe into working order with a preciseness beyond our imagination.
For reason of addressing this clouded thinking, I would like to present you with an hypothesis. Suppose that I were to remove my watch and place it on my classroom desk and then ask my students to take a very close look at it. If I were to proceed by telling them that a cloud had created the precision workings of that watch, my statement of scientific fact would likely be followed by some snickers, possibly even ripples of laughter. It would take no time at all, before the word would spread around campus that the school had a nutty professor in its midst.
Still, we are willing to allow our scientists to tell us that a cloud has created the infinitely greater precision of an existing universe. Perhaps, we need to take a closer look at the state of that universe and remember the dust a few of us saw when man landed on the moon. That is old news today, but no less true. The moon is in a state of decay.
As the song says, they have sprinkled moon-dust in your hair and starlight in your eyes. Science weaves a web of tales around the simple truth it refuses to acknowledge. In fact, a few scientists are beginning to move in the right direction with a theory of eternal darkness into which fireballs enter as light to dispel the darkness. With this theory, we can see science lining up fact with the truth of the book of Genesis and its recounting of Creation by God.
He gave us this truth long before the scientist began to arrive at it. God clearly stated that there was darkness on the face of the deep and that He did the only thing possible to dispel the darkness. He spoke light into His creation with the words, “Let there be light”. In other words, His Word, the Bible, is the Light, which dispels darkness. Jesus is that Word and the Light and Truth made flesh.
Yes, there is darkness out there, and it is quickly forming in here. Romans, chapter 8, told us all about it long before our illustrious scientists began to move in this direction of their latest belief system. It states that creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption and into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Our carnal state of sin, which ultimately returns us to dust, must be defeated by man before the groaning of an entire universe, in the labor pains of birth, can cease.
Before this will happen, the light of the sun will be blotted out on earth at the time Satan rules for his brief hour of glory after all the witnesses to the truth have departed from the face of this earth. They are the sons of God who stand on truth in faith and obedience to Him as the light of spiritual Israel, ready and waiting for the time when the entire face of the universe will be changed. Man has no concept of just how enormous the consequences of this hour are, for we have had our thinking processes dulled down by the theories of men, which are without substance.
One must grasp the prophecy inherent in the burning bush, which Moses saw on the mountaintop in the presence of God, in order to understand just how important this last covenant move of the Spirit and the bride will be. It was a bush that was not consumed by the fire of judgment and would not be returned to the dust by the burning of His wrath. Light carries the fire judgment with it, and every day we look toward the sun in the heavens, we are reminded of the nature of the Lord God.
Global warming? Yes, but not of the Al Gore type, which he claims to be caused by carbon emissions. It is the heat of the fire judgment, which we are experiencing as it moves ever closer with man’s emissions from his ever increasing amount of sin – a result of his disobedience to the Word of God.
The universe is waiting for the fulfillment of the prophecy of the burning bush, that is to say, the completion of the numbers from this age, who will be deemed by God to be the overcomers of the religious lies of Satan. The bush speaks of the sons of God, who withstand the judgment and come through the fire unscathed like the three friends of Daniel, who walked out of the fire with one like the Son of Man, walking with them.
The universe groans as it awaits its renewal in the Spirit of life. Only then will the dark holes of space disappear when the Light takes ruler-ship again. The decaying universe is under the sway of that serpent of old, which deceived both the angels of heaven and men on earth.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:37-39).
The carnal, or the substance, does not rule the universe, nor was it created by a big bang or a cloud. It is the Spirit of God, Who has dominion over its entirety. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea (Revelation 21:1). This, my friends, will be the only gaseous explosion when decay gives way to the light. At that point, the judgment initiated by the fall of Satan from the throne of God, will be completed and space travel will become a reality for the overcomers.
“He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Revelation 21:7-8).”
Listen to ‘them there scientific pontificators’, if you will, but the truth is the only source for mature understanding. Theories will continue to abound in the religion of science, and they, too, will go the way of the dust, but the truth shall abide forever and forever more.
