When God called Abraham to get out of his country and to leave his kindred, He said that He would lead him to a land, which He would show him. God said He would make of him a great nation and bless him, so that his name would become great. Then the Lord God went on to say that He would bless those who blessed Abraham and curse those who cursed him, for in him all the families of the earth would be blessed.
Israel was the name of His inheritance. Would it belong to one nation of people or was it intended for all the families of the earth? Israel had her foundation in the gentile nations from out of which Abraham was called, and it was back there among his gentile kindred where he would find a bride suitable for his son and grandson. The two were joined together again in the marriage of the sons of inheritance. It could be said that the two sticks became one in the marriage bed (see Ezekiel 37:15-28) of inheritance.
Yet, as one follows the history of the nation, she was shown the Land by God and commanded to take it and to possess it. She was called to be as a burning torch of truth, which would demonstrate God’s glory to all the gentile nations. The only way this could happen would be to remove the gentile nations from the Land, along with every last speck of anything belonging to those nations involved in religious idolatry. Israel never obeyed God and pagan religions were never fully driven from the Land.
The sad truth is that Israel did not choose to be a burning torch of light to her neighbors, whereby she could have demonstrated the supremacy of a country ruled by God over all the other countries of the world, along with the victory He would give her over her enemies. She preferred to relinquish her God-given bounty in truth to embrace religious idolatry, continually in disobedience to her God. Because she never drove the religious, gentile nations from the Land, the leaven eventually grew to fill the entire nation.
Today, the nation Israel is suffering the consequences of her actions to have become nothing more than a collection of religious cultic people who do not know God in any sense of the word. Each cult lives by the sword like all the nations under Satan, so that the Land is like a smoking oven, smoldering under the weight of religion.
However, there was a thread running forward through the inheritance of Abraham, from Isaac leading to Jacob and on to Boaz, David, Nathan, the Virgin Mary and finally reaching its destination with her Son, Jesus, the Son of Man. This same thread ran backward from Abraham to Noah’s son Shem, and from there to Noah, to Seth and finally back to Adam, making Jesus a Son of man. From Adam the thread ran back further to God, making Him also a Son of God, born of the Spirit of God.
Jesus became a Son of man through the woman, but at the same time, a Son of God by being conceived of the Holy Spirit with none of the seed of man in Him. Through His adopting father Joseph, He was in direct line within the tribe of Judah for the throne, but He also was in the line of Solomon from whom the throne had been torn away. His throne was that of the throne of God, yet passed through the throne of David, a man chosen by God to rule over Israel.
The day Jesus arose from the dead was the day all nations were blessed through the father, Abraham by the Father, God. Jesus was offering a far greater promise than a mere land promise. He was offering a kingdom promise open to all the people of the earth to come into His spiritual nation of Israel, which will, one day, fill the entire earth, when His kingdom comes on earth as it is in heaven.
The keys to this kingdom were given to the church, which would carry the blessing of Abraham out to the entire world through both Abraham and God’s Son of inheritance. He is the only One Who is able to offer salvation from sin and death to the world. No other man was ever born free of the sin of man by being begotten of the Holy Spirit and conceived of a virgin. This was no son of the harlot, Eve; this was a Son of a virginal woman called Mary, who had none of the seed of man in her.
On day one, the morning of Pentecost, the apostolic church began its commission to be a witness of the truth of the gospels to all nations. No longer would Hebrew be the only language of the Scriptures, nor would the truth belong only to the Hebrew people. God would invite all people into the spiritual house of Israel to partake in His Son’s wedding feast for His bride of the church.
One could receive with a rebirth of the water and the Holy Spirit a place of honor at the feast beside Jesus as His bride to share in His inheritance. To be a guest at the celebration one only has to believe on the name of Jesus for salvation to be in the spiritual tribes of Israel. The choice was man’s and the invitation was issued in every language of the known world at the time when the phenomena of tongues appeared.
This was the purpose of tongues – to fulfill the promise to Abraham that he would be a blessing to all the nations, or families, of the earth. The language of Israel no longer belonged to one nation of the world. The divided languages of the nations as dispersed from Babel were beginning the process of coming back together into one.
Just a couple of centuries prior to this, Alexander had introduced Greek as the common language to be spoken in all the nations he conquered. God was preparing the ground through him for the blessing of Abraham to go out to all the nations. How could a spiritual Israel expand by speaking only the near-dead language of Hebrew, without the people being able to hear the truth in a language they could all understand? The Old Testament was translated into Greek and became accessible to all peoples.
Jesus was calling His church into one spiritual nation out of all the nations by sending out His apostles to spread the good news of salvation. This would separate the true Israel of believers from the religious gentiles, in readiness for the kingdom on earth, where there will be no religion, only truth. The religious tower-building of Babel was the counterfeit of Satan, the unity of which God destroyed and broke up into religious nations with divided tongues separating them. When there is real unity it can only come in truth and never with religion.
Note how the counterfeit church system of religion, called Christianity, splintered, splintered some more and is still dividing and splintering to this day into many fragments! Jesus will rule over the kingdom where He will only testify to the truth and judge only in truth. All nations will become as one in so far as they will bow to no other god but Him – not to any Arab potentate or Roman priest. All such acts are acts of disobedience, which put other gods before the Lord God Who has commanded that His people shall have no other gods before Him.
The blessing of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was always about this kingdom blessing, long before it was a national blessing under the Law. The founding fathers of Israel did see the Land, but they never possessed it, nor will the true Israel ever possess it until the return of Jesus with His church, which will rule and reign with Him. He will ride straight through the East Gate, as the closure of the Garden on the east side is once again opened to the tree of life.
This is exactly what the antichrist spirit is fighting to prevent as God’s own people of America now join in the process of moving toward a One World Order, the counterfeit of Satan to the New World Order of the kingdom. Satan will be allowed to rule through the Antichrist and the false prophet, who together will be the counterfeits of God and His spotless Lamb. This has always been at the heart of Satan along with his plan for world ruler-ship so he can possess the throne in Israel before the return of Jesus. He hates those who are loyal to God and the Lamb and witness to the truth at the expense of religion. They are his only impediment to his religious One World Order.
The antichrist spirit has always been challenging this move of God, which began with Abraham and took form when Jacob struggled with the angel and man throughout the night, until he was victorious in receiving the name of Israel, the father of the spiritual tribes of God’s family, the house of Israel.
Many religions claim Abraham as their father, but he belongs to none of them. His inheritance traveled down the line to Jesus and to the believers who stand as witnesses to the truth, washed clean of religion by the Word. Through the crossover blessing of Israel at the cross, the new covenant set the spiritual nation free from a land promise to a kingdom reality, in which all the nations of the earth have been blessed in Abraham.
Though he can be considered the father of all of us who call ourselves by the name of Israel, our true inheritance rests in Jesus, the perfect Sacrifice Abraham’s son Isaac could never be. Jesus’ message of inheritance was that of a new covenant in relation to the kingdom of God with the living water and the living Spirit of God being returned to man. Our breath is unto death, as sons of the beast, but the Lord offers us the breath of life again from the God Who alone can impart the Spirit of life to man.
Rejoice in Pentecost and in the Spirit of life, for God has blessed the human race with a second opportunity to bypass death and continue to live in the spiritual realm into which God took the dust, when He changed it into a human being. By this Son of inheritance called Jesus, the entire world has been given the option to enter into spiritual Israel. She will at last take her rightful place in the Land, the same piece of property as that of the original Garden of Eden.
For the whole earth is God’s, and His portion of the people is called Israel (see Deuteronomy 32:7-12).
Beware of taking the mark of the beast or worshiping the Antichrist as ruler over the One World Order! Beware of any President or other leader of the American people who would lead you in that direction! It will spell disaster for the nations of America.
