Jerusalem And Her Harlotry – Ezekiel 16

Jerusalem was the city of David, the city of inheritance that belongs to the true sons of God of the crossover blessing. The New Jerusalem will belong to Jesus and His bride, built on the foundation of the apostles, with the gateways being the tribes of the nations of Salvation. David’s inheritance will go to the spiritual line of inheritance and not to Solomon’s blood sons.
The Lord God took the city out of its filthy state from the day it was born, struggling in its birth blood and uncut navel cord, thrown to the field to die. She was loathed from her day of birth, yet God took her and said, “Live.” By the command of the Word (the truth of the Bible), she would live and grow in beauty until her time of love. Through the covenant of love, Jerusalem became God’s. The union with Israel will be consummated when the bride becomes the Lord’s in marriage. Yet naked and bare, the Lord spread His wings over His bride. An oath was sworn by the Lord God to the bride, saying, “You are Mine.” She was cleansed and anointed. She was beautifully clothed and had bracelets on her wrists and chains on her neck. She was given special sandals of badger skins, or very good footwear. She was crowned and wore linen and silk of embroidered cloth. She ate the finest food of fine flour, honey and oil. She was adorned with gold and silver. She succeeded to royalty, for this was the bride of the King. Her fame went out to the nations because of the beauty bestowed upon her.
This beautiful bride, first as the nation and later as the church, played the harlot. Pride was at the source of the problem as she relied on her own beauty. You could say they both adorned themselves, appearing in their own eyes to be more important than their betrothal to God or to their Beloved, the Lord Jesus was, as pride and idolatry filled their hearts. (Ezekiel 16:16) You took some of your garments and adorned multicolored high places for yourself and played the harlot on them. If ever there were a picture of America and the church’s role, this is it. She literally paid the foreigners and said, “Come in with your high towers of false religions and we will cloak you so that we can become a multicultural nation, endorsing your gods, and we will give up the Bible and our God if it offends you.” This is exactly what happened to this beautiful land of liberty given to the church to guard and keep her covenant relationship with God, so that she might be a light to all the world. She surely played the harlot as her gold and silver of pure worship were cast aside to make room for the idol worship of the foreigners. This land of plenty belonged to God’s people, only because they honored God’s ruler-ship in the nation, but now it shall become like the nations with whom it played the harlot in the name of multiculturalism. Ezekiel could see it all, centuries before it would come to pass, for God had pulled back the veil for the prophet that he might write a warning for both Israel and the believing nation, but most importantly for the end-days church.
Canadians and Americans stole life from their children when they willingly gave up the Bible for the rights of the foreigners, allowing abominations and secular humanism to be taught in its place. They murdered millions of babies by aborting them before they could take their first God-given breath of life. They monkeyed with creation, honoring the monkey more than they honored God. So God used the monkey, the idol of their hearts, to bring plagues upon them. The nation has forgotten that its founders came to this land and struggled to break out of the liberalism and controls of man’s governments over them, to bring forth a new nation in liberty in God’s Law. Now, high places have gone up on most every road. Can one drive any distance without seeing mosques and religious palaces of stone and crystal, which house all manner of abominations?
Americans placed more faith in trade with evil nations, those of the oil kings who use slave labor, than on God’s provision, as they came to depend more and more on the cheap products manufactured with the use of the Eastern slaves and child labor. They made themselves the center of world trade on the pathways of the sea as they said to God, “We no longer need You.” In fact, they built the twin high towers of world trade in their seaside city of New York, the Tyre of America. They became worse than any harlot, by saying, “Come in here, all you multi-cultics and we will give over to you our liberty in God. We will shut God and the Bible out, and we will make room for Allah and your cultic ways, if you care to join us. We promise you protection through our rights laws that give to you more liberty than we ourselves enjoy. We will no longer require obedience to God’s Law in our land.” They were worse than any harlot, handing out the bought-and-paid-for welfare payments and medical expenses to whoever entered the country, without requiring of them any labor toward these same funds. They chose to depart from the liberty that comes from keeping God’s Law in the land, caring little for their God-given democratic vote, the exercise of which would keep them free, but rather submitted to the demands of political correctness.
“Woe to you, institutions of religion, for I will judge you and judge you severely. I will lift your skirts to show the world how corrupt you are, and how filthy your priesthood is. You are a woman who has broken wedlock and your shed blood will be judged. Blood will come upon you in fury and jealousy, for I am a jealous God. I told you that I would accept no other gods before Me, but you had no ears to hear in your wickedness. Now, like the snakes of Egypt’s magicians, the witchcraft you so love, I will allow them to devour your shrines and consume your jewelry, your homes and your livelihood, and to take them away for their own. They shall use your rights, which you gave away so freely, to destroy your own God-given rights. My hand was in covenant with Moses’ rod, as it was with you, but you shall have no power against the wicked magicians with whom you are having a love affair in your nation. Then, I will lay aside My anger, after they have destroyed this adulterous generation. You forgot your heritage in this land, and so it will come upon your heads. You are sister to Samaria and Sodom, but you are worse than those nations, for I gave it all to you. You knew the difference between right and wrong, yet you chose to do evil. When Israel returns for judgment from the nations, you, O Church, will also be judged in the midst of your multiculturalism and religions. I will separate church and nation for the judgment, but first it will fall on the house of the Lord. The atonement will be provided for those who will remember and be ashamed of their harlotry.”
The Lord is coming again to put a stop to evil and harlotry, and then you shall remember the days of your youth, when you knew your Lord and He knew you. You shall fall in shame before Jesus, as the brothers fell before Joseph. You have lost your first son inheritance to the youngest son, the one who did not commit the evil act against his brother. In love Benjamin and Joseph shall come together, but without harlotry of any sort in their relationship. This is a picture of the true bride, the bride of Christ meeting with her Beloved Lord.
Come out of her, all of you, Christians, Jews, Muslims and Buddhists, lest you go down with the harlotry of religious practices and the worship of idols.
