A Tale of Two Governments
January 21, 2012
America has reached a crisis point at this time in history. It revolves around the issue of whether or not this nation is capable of making a choice for government, which would be decidedly different from that which Adam and Eve chose in the Garden of creation. Is the heart of man so corrupted by sin that the head is also delusional? God answers this question for us: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9).” He goes on to say, “I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings (Jeremiah 17:10).”
It would appear that the fruit of America’s evil doings is coming to rest in the Oval Office of the White House. Is there any real choice in the coming election, which would make it possible to take the nation back to Constitutional Law and the intent of the Founding Fathers of the nation? Is it possible to be free of the religious state, which Adam and Eve chose under the lure of the serpent, when they rejected the government of the God of truth, with its foundation of truth? Will any candidate return the Bible to the nation as its foundation founded by the Founding Fathers?
God set up a government plan for man, under His ruler-ship, in a world where all things were created good by the God of truth. Satan came along with the compromise plan of evil mixed with good. It introduced a belief system at the heart of his lure, based on the lies of liberalism from God’s truth, to establish the first religious belief system, with the pointer of man’s spiritual direction changing to go from life to death. The first government of man, which was the only good government for him, gave way to the government of Satan, based on the lie that evil can co-exist with good, and man will be the better for it. But this is the lie that led from life to death for Adam and Eve, and proved God’s Word to be truth.
No sooner were Noah and his family off the ark, than man was right back at it, with one language, one speech, and one purpose. His purpose was to build his own city of ruler-ship, with its own religious tower, having a top reaching into the heavens. And so, the first tower of religion, reaching up to God and built with bricks constructed by man, was the beginning of a one world government combined with a one world order of religion, to which all men worked together for one purpose. This was the city and tower of Babel, which would become the mother of all harlotry of man to God, called Babylon the Great.
So, the Lord came down, confused the situation and divided Satan’s rule into nations scattered over the face of the earth. This infuriated Satan so much that he countered by beginning the process of re-uniting the nations again in a unity of religion through empire-building, which led to the first empire of Egypt. This would be followed by the Assyrian Empire, with the Babylonian system of empires following it, culminating, finally, in Satan’s goal for a One World Order, where he could be worshipped like the Most High God.
Though this empire would finally encompass all nations, it would also have inherent in it the weakness of trying to unite cultures into one, something, which today we call multiculturalism. When multiculturalism is being pushed by liberal governments, Satan is always the force behind it, in his drive to unite the nations under him. God calls these nations, the Gentile nations, which He describes as less than nothing and worthless (see Isaiah 40:17).
In the midst of this division of nations, God set up a people and nation, which He called Israel, to be ruled by Him. This people were to trust in Him and obey Him, in order to be a light of liberty to those caught in the death-trap of the empire-building warring nations. It would be a culture based on life rather than a religious culture based on death, in separation from the multicultural pact, which is quickly uniting all nations into one. Today, we call it the United Nations. They come together with the aim of uniting religion, economic matters and government affairs. Is there any candidate running for the Office of the President who will tell the United Nations to pack it all up and remove itself from this land, where it is a blight on the horizon?
When we think of building a tower with bricks, we are taken back to the slavery of Israel, as she built bricks for her Egyptian masters, and their building programs. In America today, we call it the church-planting of little, red brick churches, which dot our American landscape. Then there were the stonecutters of Solomon’s temple, who came from Tyre, which cause us to look closely at the great cut-stone cathedrals of Europe, which house Roman Catholicism rooted in the Romanism of the last Babylonian Empire called the Revived Roman Empire.
Now, God called Israel to isolationism from the nations and obedience only to His commandments and the truth of His words. He laid down the Law, with victory for the nation over her enemies, coming from Him and not from man. Truth was the foundation of His nation, Israel, and the obedience of the nation to the Law was the activator for God’s blessing upon her. Of course, the converse was true as well; to stray from God’s Law in disobedience to Him meant that the curse or disaster would overtake the nation. God set up His truth/state versus Satan’s religious/state and the empire-building nations of the world.
As Satan progressed through the empire governments toward his One World Order of the last religious/state of the Babylonian system, God began the Way back to Garden living in a kingdom that would fill the entire earth. America, like Israel, became His nation of people ruled by Him and His Word of truth. There was no religious ruler over America when her constitutions were formed. The Word of God ruled over man in this country, even though his heart is always set toward religion in his delusional state of mind, unless the Spirit of life has been returned to him and he is born again as a new spiritual creation. At this point Jesus, the very Word made flesh, is able to rule over man and He will not share His throne with the ruler of any union of nations.
Is there one candidate running for the Office of the President of the United States who will return the country to her original glory in God, Jesus and the Law of truth, with borders protected by the Bible, or are they all pushing for economic, religious and governmental unity with the nations? Is there one isolationist under God who is not afraid to call America back to her north-south family ties between Canada and the United States under one God in whom they trust, having dominion over them from sea to sea?
Is there one candidate who will seal the borders, turn the light of liberty back on and look upward for her victory in this world to come from her relationship with God and His ability to drive the forbidden, religious idolatry out of this country? I guess the question is: Do we want a satanic, religious messiah or Jesus, the true Messiah, to rule over America? Both will claim to be the Messiah, but only one is the true Messiah.
God denounced Israel for wanting a king other than Him. So, He took this evil of the nation and used it for good. He raised up a good king called David to sit on the throne of His people. David depended upon God and His Spirit to rule over him and the nation of Israel. Now, this was a man/king after the heart of God. So, God took David and pitted him against the giant of the religious, gentile nations. David saw that his strength came from God and knew as such that he was guaranteed victory. Instinctively, by the Spirit, David knew where his target lay, which was the head of the beast, according to the curse upon the serpent of the Garden. Victory would be his if he bruised the giant in the head with his stone (see Genesis 3:15).
David picked up five smooth stones (no tools of man had been used on them), and the first one found its target to fell the giant. However, there were four sons of the giant with which the line of David would have to contend, the symbolic giants within each of the four empires of the Babylonian system. It would rest with the final stones of the church to come against the giant of them all – the Antichrist, who would restore the city of Babel, the One World Order, and then sit on the throne in Jerusalem, to be worshiped like the Christ.
In the Antichrist is found the culmination of the four empires, a smooth stone for each, yet nothing compared to the power of the Rock (Jesus) to crush the feet of this last giant’s empire. The victory will go to Jesus when Babylon, that great city of evil, comes tumbling down and He then sets up His kingdom on this earth after entering Jerusalem through the east gate.
A certain King Hezekiah followed in the footsteps of King David as king over Judah when the Assyrian Empire was threatening at the walls of Jerusalem. Like David, Hezekiah chose to trust in the Lord for victory, and so the Lord responded to him concerning the king of Assyria: “He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor build a siege mound against it. By the way that he came, by the same shall he return; and he shall not come into this city,” says the Lord. “For I will defend this city, to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.” And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses – all dead (2 Kings 19:32-35).
Is there a David, a man of faith running for office, who can stop the barbarians at the gate, for that is what it will take to turn America around and back to God, the only One who can deliver victory for her? The question is whether or not there is one among the candidates who is not a One World Order man, but rather a man of truth with a heart after the heart of God.
It is really all about a tale of two governments in this world, the religious empire-government of Satan and the government of God in truth. The good news is that truth wins in the end when the kingdom of God comes on this earth as it is in heaven. Will America survive to see that day, or will she go the way of all nations, which God sees as nothing and are counted by Him as less than nothing and worthless?
