| In keeping with the editor’s promise to our readers about posting some older writings of Elinor Montgomery, today’s edition of Freedom Post will share the contents of the little book, Angelic Scrolls. THE CALL Feb. 26, 2000 How do I tell You of my love? My forehead has been sealed and I am bound only to You. No chain or chord could bind me with greater strength, than that of our love. Let the scrolls be opened, let Your messages flow, for You, and You alone are worthy, and the bride has joined You. I shall pen Your words, I shall sing Your praises. O John of ancient days, you closed and sealed the words. Now angelic forces hold those scrolls before me. The Lord’s hand is over mine. The years have rolled away, and the time is upon us for the mysteries to be revealed. Who is worthy but the Lamb? None is without sin. I fail in strength at His feet, as I worship in adoration and love, for He has brought me to Him. He has taken me into His garden. He has shown me the saints of the ages, and I yearn to share in their presence, the joy of His fellowship. I hear the trumpet call, and can see the curtain drawn back. Visions rush before my eyes, as Daniel says to take his hand. “I have seen what you will see, but only the Spirit will reveal its meaning. Many kings and many rulers desired to see what you have seen, and many shall persecute you for it. But the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you, and woe to those who would stop these words.” “The heavens shall pour forth its messages, like the rains of the forest and the cedar trees shall again flourish and grow strong and tall. There shall be wood for the covenant and My purest of gold shall cover over it with a pureness previously unseen. This shall be a covenant with My people, and I shall go before them, for I have heard their cries. Come, My precious one, you shall need the sandals of the wilderness and the rod of Moses. For I shall speak with you face to face, and as you lift the rod, mighty miracles shall take place. Angelic forces hold My scrolls, and I have longed for this time, when I might return for My bride. Ride beside Me, for there is a battle to be fought. You must be pure of heart and resting at my feet, for I shall separate you from the world. Satan seeks those with whom he can have his way, but My bride will be sanctified and a credit to My name. She shall shout it throughout the land, for I am hers and she is Mine. We shall move as a single body in motion with the winds of the Spirit. Come, My precious one, let us open the scrolls, for the battle is about to begin. A CHURCH IN SIN Feb. 26, 2000 There is a drum beating, and I can hear the sound of battle, with marching feet. Storm clouds are forming, for the wrath of God has been aroused. We have walked away from the mighty Jehovah-Nissi, Who brought her out of Egypt, with His protective hand. He then led her and fed her in the wilderness. Still, she grumbled and wanted more. Would she give thanks? Would she get down on bended knees to the omnipotent God? Have we given thanks in this land? Have we honoured the most high Creator, Who created and prepared a land of plenty for us in another wilderness, a place which had to be conquered and subdued, with hard work and with sacrifices. Our God walked with us, and blessed us with peace and bounty, for we worshipped Him throughout the land, in our homes, in our schools, and in our churches. We taught His Word to our children, and for a time, He was our God and we were His people, a chosen people of blessing. Then Satan’s forces were unleashed. He brought forth his centuries-old message, packed slightly differently from the one in the garden, but the call remained the same. “Surely you shall not die, but you shall know good and evil and you shall be like the most high God.” Has man changed? Is he any different today than Adam and Eve were when they fell from God’s grace, bringing a curse upon our children, as we allow the teaching of the Word to be taken away from them? Where has the church been hiding? Is it hiding from the Father, as did Adam and Eve hide in shame, when God came into the garden to walk with them? Will His wrath and judgment not come upon us as we labour and travail in pain for our Lord, who is once more entering the birth canal in readiness to enter this world? Our God will begin the process of separating and dividing the chaff from the grain, and He will destroy and scatter to the wind the useless, non-fruit-bearing parts. A church that is built on a weak foundation will not survive the coming storm. Only the ones that are anchored in the Word and pointing upward to the Lord Jesus, will remain. For Jesus wants His bride beside Him, a bride who will adore and worship Him in a single-minded manner, that will cause the world to know who she is. Priesthood, shed your flowing robes, and put away your liturgy. Humble yourselves and move to the rear, as you make room for Jesus up front. Place the sheep before you so that they might hear the Shepherd’s call. The cliffs are steep, and they cling to the rock awaiting His rescue. Threatening depths lie before them, yet the Shepherd ever calls to save them. Great will be the judgment, if He does not reach them. Woe to the church of this day, that has allowed them to go astray. I hear the drum beating, I see the storm clouds forming. O my Father, I fall to my knees and beg for your forgiveness. Return this land to a state of righteousness and beauty. Remove the vile stench of Satan and his army, with its foul-smelling poison. Restore our children to the Word. Restore our land to You. We ask this, Father, with a repentant heart, on bended knees, as we come to You, seeking Your face, instead of being part of the party at the foot of the mountain. Come, Lord Jesus, come! Claim Your bride, so that we may ride with You into battle for the very salvation of this nation. A PURE BRIDE Feb. 26, 2000 The ark is being prepared before you. Its wood is of the finest cedar, its gold is made with the purity of God’s grace. His power sits over the mercy seat. He is placing His army now in position to repossess the land. First we must make our covenant with Him. We must agree to restore the name of Jesus back to the land. We must promise to stand up and be heard as His people, so that we will be as powerful as salt is to the taste, and will shine forth as a bright light to the nation. We must rise to every challenge that would remove His name from the land. We must claim the Word of God, as the source for truth and the only source that overshadows all the arguments of secular humanism, with its man-made doctrines. We will wield the double-edged sword that cuts through falseness and hypocrisy with an edge so sharp, that the enemy will flee in fear and trembling before the Lord. The Spirit shall lead us and only Jesus shall be our focus. No one shall be able to touch this ark, except the true priesthood of God. They shall be in white robes, not black ones. They shall not recite a mantra, but will raise their hearts in adoration and true praises to the Lord. They shall worship Him as the Bridegroom should be worshipped. Faint not, but stand tall. Let this nation know Who is with us, as the cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night goes before us. Let them know that the only power is residing once more over the mercy seat. No other power of this world can stand before us, for Satan will be put under our feet and used as a footstool. Would the true church, the bride, cower before the governments of man, allowing all the voices of Satan to rule? It is now time to know who we are in God. For in faith we become invincible, and in obedience we will win the battle. No man shall claim the victory, for all of the honour and glory shall belong to the Lord. THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY COME Feb. 26, 2000 I see an army forming and its leader sits upon a white horse. He has written on His breast-plate ‘King of kings and Lord of lords’. The army stretches as far as the eye can see and beyond that. They are joined by another army that has the semblance of ghosts, with their skeletal shapes, all clothed in white robes. On their breast-plates is written the name of ‘the Bride’. Together they unite and move as one. They line up behind the ark of the covenant, the purity of which lights the way before them and can be seen by all whom they pass along the way. Many of these onlookers want to join into battle, for they recognize the purity and the benefits of a victory. They yearn for the days that have been lost, and for the return of their children who have been stolen. Would man not desire to be rid of the vileness of pornography, sexual sin and the violence that has been the result of Satan’s binding of the Word? Is there anyone who would not want to leave their silent pews in the church, if given the chance to fight in a battle that allows their voices to shout the battle cry, a battle that at last will allow them to say, “Enough is enough” to governments that will be forced to listen? It is never too late, for God’s timing is always perfect. His trumpet sounds at just the moment when He has prepared a place for the Bridegroom and His bride. She must always be ready to respond to the call. I hear the trumpet blowing. It is now time for her to come forward. Is not the Lord’s covenant a promise to His bride, that when she comes forth to meet Him that she shall rule and reign with Him for a thousand years of peace, and the wolf shall lie down with the lamb? How can she reign in a land for which she has refused to take up her cross, for which she has refused to risk her life? Need she fear if the Lord promises to meet her? Need she fear the enemy, as she responds to her calling to be visible and to be heard? O bride of Christ, rise up to this calling to take the land. The budding rod is ever there, showing God’s dealing with those who would come against His chosen and anointed. The manna tells us that all of our needs for the day will be provided. But you and I must take responsibility for the commandments. We must be the vessels through whom the Lord will work to restore His teaching to our children, and to return the mandate to the courts to implement God’s laws not the laws of man. Rise up O bride , and be heard, for we have a new covenant with our Lord. He shall be our Lord and we shall be His people. We shall come together as a covenanting people, to restore His name to all the nation. This is the call of our day, this is the Word of the Lord. Will you be faithful and obey? THE FIRST SCROLL Feb. 27, 2000 The angel handed me a scroll, and on it was written the words, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Who is to be feared above Him? Who has power greater than His? His Word is truth.” The truth is our foundation. It is our strength. The Word is our weapon. It is to be wielded as a mighty sword in battle. We shall march forward as a mighty army fearing only the Lord, as we become invincible in His Word. How can the church march in this army? Is she clothed in her armour? Does she have on her helmet of salvation, her breast-plate of righteousness? Is she girded in the truth? The Lord is seeking His bride, but where will He find her? If the trumpet were to sound and if He were to appear on the clouds, would she rise up in one unified body? Would she even hear His voice, for how can she know it, if she has not been taught to listen for it, and to recognize His words? Will the priesthood in their black robes keep on dancing to their own tune, the noise of which drowns out His call? A mighty roar is rising up in the throat of the Lion of Judah. He is about to unleash His breath upon the institutional church, and divide it into two parts. That which is built on false doctrine will fall and crumble before our very eyes. His judgment will be as swift and come as quickly as the fire of Sodom. He no longer will endure the twisting of His Word. He no longer will stand for the questioning and doubting of His divinity by His shepherds. Who are they that they set themselves up in authority over His Word? Has he not commanded man to not take away from the book of prophecy or God shall take that man’s part away from the Book of Life. Does this sound like God treats His Word lightly? Only the inspired words of the Bible shall reign supreme as our law throughout eternity. Any nation that alters this truth shall know the wrath of the Father. How, as a people declaring Jesus to be our Lord, can we sit back and allow other religions and other belief systems to take God’s name out of the laws of the land, while at the same time, not putting up a fight, not even uttering a sound? How can God tolerate shepherds who lead His sheep into submission to the enemy without any fear of their mighty God, Who can destroy whatever He chooses, in the blink of an eye? Jesus is calling out His bride, and woe to those who do not hear His call. Woe to those who have changed His words and are leading His sheep to destruction. Woe to those who have questioned His divinity and call Him just a nice man with a prophetic word. O people of the church, wake up to the hour. Know where we are in this period of time. Repent and change your ways, for the hour is now close to midnight. Do not tarry, but make yourselves right with God. No longer rest in the patterns and rituals of the institutional church, for the Lord is about to turn away from it all. He is calling us to a relationship with Him as His bride, and He does not want to marry an institution. O people of God, tremble in His presence, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. THE SECOND SCROLL Feb. 27, 2000 A new day is dawning, a new age is coming. The angel handed me another scroll. It said, “And He shall reign for ever and ever. There shall be no other gods before Him. He is the Lord your God and He is one God.” Is this the teaching in our land? Who is the God of Canada? Could we say it is the Lord of the Bible? Do we raise up one God before us, the mighty Creator of the universe, a righteous God? Do we love righteousness in this land and hate wickedness? Do we honour His Word and keep it, or do we endorse every manner of evil and call an abomination an alternate lifestyle? Man relates to the computer more than he does to the Word. He grasps at the internet, seeking the stock trends and the latest gadgets for sale, before he will seek God and immerse himself in His Book. He will accept a human authority that tells him there are no real truths, just a feel-good system of relative truths, but he will not accept God’s message of truth. He sets himself up in pride of self, while naval-gazing inward, instead of humbling himself and looking upward. He seeks to set his own direction instead of listening to the instructions of the Lord, and finding his direction from God. What was it that made Lucifer fall from grace? It was pride and the desire to challenge the Most High God. He was cast out instantly from the presence of the Lord. This is his constant lure to man, for man to set up his own kingdoms and to ignore his dependency on God. He will entice us as he says that our goodness is all that is important, that God will love us if we are good and we shall surely not die. He twists the scriptures until we are so comfortable in our pews of good deeds, that we no longer feel the need for the saving blood of Jesus. This is how Satan tries to establish his authority on earth, and without proper teaching, the church will be so in bondage to the lie, that she no longer functions as a true church of Christ. Jesus’ reign on this earth is a sure thing. Satan shall not have his way. Those who buy into the lie, shall surely die with the lie. Those who do not act in this land to raise the banner of Jesus’ name over this nation, will be as guilty as those who have walked away in deception. The time of decision is now. God has provided a way for His people to be heard as one unified voice. Will you be part of it? Will you respond to His call for this time? Judgment is about to come upon the land. Let us raise a shout to the Lord and unite in one strong voice to the nation. THE THIRD SCROLL Feb. 27, 2000 A scroll was unrolled before my very eyes, and it was written in red. “Eternity is for those who have come out of the world. No man shall come to the Father except by Me. I am the truth, the way and the life. Follow Me.” I had a vision of Jesus, leading me along a craggy mountain path and He admonished me to stay behind Him and to follow in His footsteps. I was very aware of the danger of the terrain. We came to a place where, through an opening, we could see a beautiful city, one of warmth and light and beauty. The people looked peaceful and happy. But I could also see people who had chosen to come out and away from this place, to the craggy mountainside. As they came out, they instantly lost their youth and became wrinkled and very old in a matter of seconds, and finally they all died. Now what is the meaning of this scroll and this vision? Jesus does not say you have a multiple choice decision to make, that you can take any one of several routes to the Father, and dwell with Him eternally in heaven. He says that He is the only way and provides the only path that leads to the eternal city. He does not allow us the right as Christians, to say all religions are equal. For He clearly says they are not. Only a belief in Him will lead us to God. No amount of naval-gazing or spiritual exercises will bring us to the Father. Are there any other truths apart from that of our Lord’s Word? The answer clearly is ‘No’. No matter how good something feels, or how well intentioned we might be in our assessment of a truth, it has no substance or validity unless it lines up with the Word of God. For Jesus tells us that everything that was written was inspired by God. He is the only way, the only truth and the life. As I think about the vision, I am struck with the fear of the Lord, and with the realization of the dangers of this world, that surround me daily. Satan is ever waiting to pull us into his net and snare us with his lies. The Bible tells us that we must be born of the Spirit. Unless we are being led by the Spirit and tightly following close behind Jesus as He leads the way in these end days, then we shall surely lose our footing, for Satan has unleased all his forces to trap us. Many Christians are falling away. They are represented in my vision, by those coming out of the eternal city, then aging and dying. Ministries are leading the people to accept the lie, that we must compromise and give equal billing to all religions in our land, and to endorse them all as being of equal value, in the name of promoting multiculturalism. Nothing could have been further from God’s plan for His nation Israel, than the acceptance of the cultures that surround them. We are compromising the truth that says Jesus is the only way, and we are allowing Satan to silence His name in the land. Churches are also teaching that homosexuality is acceptable, though the Bible clearly tells us it is an abomination. Both the divinity of Jesus and the truths of the divinely inspired words of the Bible, have been put under the microscope of man and have been declared invalid by many of the Christian institutions. If you find yourself in one of these churches, then get yourself out as fast as you can and place yourself in a new body which focuses on Him and the truth of His Word. Otherwise, you shall surely come out of that city, wrinkle up and die. Bride of Christ, come forward. Join in a covenanting relationship that places Jesus at the helm, one that will move according to His leading as He seeks to lead us in to repossess this land, and to raise the banner of His name over Canada. Come restore God to the courts of our land, and to the schoolrooms of our nation. Now is the hour, this is His calling. THE FINAL SCROLL Feb. 27, 2000 The angel handed me the last scroll. I felt a trembling in my spirit, as I began to read it. “This is the time of judgment. I shall pour out my Spirit on all people and I shall draw my own to Me. The Spirit and the bride say ‘Come’. Woe to those who are outside the camp, for now is the time of decision. This is last call. Prepare the way for the bride, for the Bridegroom is coming.” I was taken in spirit to the heavenlies, where I saw diapers and was made to think of babies, and their need for care and changing. I was then taken to the Throne Room, where God sat on His throne in His kingly robes, but there was pure white milk all around the foot of the throne, and it extended a long way out beyond Him. I wondered at the sight of it, and the Lord made me think of those babies and the nurturing that they would need. Does this not speak of God, birthing new Christians? Can they come through the infant stages if there is no one to care for them or to look after them? They will need a great deal of milk in the beginning and will not be able to eat hard food. If God is going to feed the children of this nation after pouring out His Spirit upon them, then you and I are responsible to see that they are taught the Word of God in the classrooms of this land. You and I are the vehicles through which He works. You might well say that we are the milkers who milk the cows and then deliver the milk to the markets. How can a church that sits silently feed the babies of the nation? Did Jesus only come for the good people in the synagogues, or did He go out to the sinners along the wayside? Unless we return the ten commandments as the moral basis of this nation, both to the courtrooms and to the classrooms, then we are failing our responsibilities as Christians, to be salt and light to the nation, and to feed and nurture the new lambs. We have responded to the message of Satan, that there is nothing we can do to reverse the direction in which Canada is moving. We are not using the power that has been given to us as new creations in the Spirit, and which has been planted firmly within us. We are not moving in faith and obedience to our Lord. We are not producing the fruits of changed lives. The Lord is calling us to make ready the way for the bride. Does He want to marry the institutional church? I believe not. I believe that first and foremost, He wants us to passionately love Him. Then I believe that He wants us to know Him in the most intimate way. If that is so, we shall want to shout out to all the world about our love for Him. We would never be ashamed to do so. Seeking just moral change in the land, is not enough. We must seek to return Christianity to the nation with all the benefits to other religions that go with its recognition of freedom and rights. However, we must never compromise and teach anything other than the truth to our children. The Alliance of Covenanting People is a body, the purpose for which, is to restore not only Judeo-Christian principles to Canada, but it is also a body of people who will behave like a bride should do, praising and placing her Bridegroom before all else, and honouring Him in every area of her life. Come, rise up to the call. The Spirit and the bride say “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. And whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” (Rev. 22:17 NKJV). Will God continue to give us another and another and another chance, as the country walks away from the truth? The time of judgment is upon us. The trumpet is sounding a last call. Will you respond, or will you refuse His invitation to the banquet table? THE KEEPING PRAYER Feb. 28, 2000 O Father, place me in Your ‘keeping cupboard’. Do not let me spoil. Lord, let me hear no evil and speak no evil, but give me the power to discern the moves of Satan. Put yellow flashing lights before me, Lord, so that I might see his spirit working in others. Let me judge them not, but let me ever address Satan’s wily ways. Let me warn them lovingly, those who cannot see. Let me help to keep them in Your protective care. O Lord, place Your spreading wings over me and wrap me in Your robe. Let our love be so strong that it will bind us as one, and we shall always move in harmony. Place the enemy before me, never behind me, where the whispering and the murmuring in the camp causes the rebellion that You so hate. Lord, place before me the budding rod, so that man will know Your will shall prevail, not the will of man. Place me firmly at Your feet, where I may look up into Your face, and feel Your love and see Your glory. Lord, this is the battle of all battles. This is the call for the bride to ride with You into the fray. Let us hear the call. Let us hear Your voice. Let us be so close, that we shall always talk face to face. Lord, shape us and mould us for the battle. Sharpen our swords of the tongue, so that the enemy shall stumble before the truth of Your Word. Let the Spirit speak, Lord, not the mind. Let us constantly seek Your will, not ours. Let our whole beings submit to Your plan. Keep us cradled in Your hand. O my Lord, the battle will be long and Christians will be bloodied. Protect them Lord, protect Your bride who ever yearns for her Bridegroom. Precious Jesus, hold me tightly, never let me go. This is my desire, this is my ‘keeping prayer’. |
