Older Writings – Letters to the Bride

INTRODUCTION

The bride is being called to come to a place of deeper relationship with the Lord, perhaps to a place she has never reached before. We are being called to press into the temple, to go in behind the veil, to the Holiest of Holy place, where only Jesus can take us, to where we have communion with the Father, Himself. He wants to anchor us firmly to the mercy seat, where His power rests.

So many of us start down the road of our Christian walk, and become caught up in the experience of it, as we first become filled with the Spirit. We revel in the emotional aspects, as we feel the healing grace of the Lord, dealing with each of our lives, and our individual needs. Some of us experience the joy and the holy laughter. Others receive giftings and manifestations of His presence. Sometimes we are so caught up in these things, that we become focused on the gifts in our lives, and the joy of manifesting them. A hunger for them is evident, as we see people chasing from one conference to another to experience more and more of this joy, and to hear more about the experiences and prophetic words of others.

Instead of moving on with our own relationship, we get caught at this state, and take our focus off of Jesus, while focusing more on our experiences. There is a need to press more deeply into the Lord, and to a deeper relationship with Him. There is ever present with this process, the cross, and for some, it is too great a burden. It will require that we be prepared to give up everything for Him, just as He gave His life for us.

The bride must be ready to follow in the footsteps of the Bridegroom. It could mean that she will suffer persecution, misunderstanding, possible loss of friends and family, and a loneliness greater than anything she has ever known before. For once one has met with Jesus in the heavenlies, everything in the world pales in significance, and our desire becomes only for Him. This is the passion of the love of the bride, to desire nothing more than to be in the presence of the Bridegroom, and to become a vessel for His use.

The Lord is calling her to Himself. Will you hear as He says, “Come”? The time is short, and she must be ready, for He is standing even now, at the door, which will be closed behind her forever. John 10:1 ”Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.”

ODE TO THE BRIDE

Mercy and goodness go with me. I fall to the feet of the Father in gratitude, and kiss them and adore Him.

I am made weak as I give thanks for His Son, for being able to embrace Him as a husband. The blessing of the Father in giving His Son, overwhelms me and makes my soul long in love and adoration for Him.

Gabriel has bestowed upon me, my bridal headpiece. Forever, I shall be beside Jesus as His bride, and though I see my cross off to the side, the reward takes me from the cares of this world, for great will be the sacrifice and pain, but great will be my joy.

There is no love that is like the love of the Bridegroom.  O ye of little faith, seek Him, know Him, so He may know you. The joy will overcome all pain, and nothing of this world will touch you, for you have felt the heart of the Father in His Son.

There is no success of this world, be it wealth, fame or position, that can carry any value beside that which the Bridegroom offers. Shallow and deadly are the prizes of this world, which could lead you in Satan’s direction.

Hear the call of the Lord and His bride, for He is coming soon, and you must be ready in white robes, so that He may take you to His side and safely lead you to the Father, and to your eternal home with Him.

CIRCUMCISION OF THE HEART

Apr. 29, 1999

The Lord’s Spirit came upon me to write. “This is the day the Lord has made. Miracles will take place, for each day is a new miracle. Know Me, precious one, for I have loved you with a love that is great. You are my chosen one. Just as I suffered before man for My position in the Father, so shall you suffer for your position in Me. Do not tremble before men. Speak what I give you to speak. Share the visions that I give you to share. However, beware when My people show pride in who they are in Me. I ask you to ask them, that if I were to say ‘Do you know Me?’, could they answer ‘Yes’. If I were to return today, would I have cause to say ‘I did not know you’?”

We have to look at the degree of intimacy to which the Lord is calling us, and to examine how this expression is used in the Bible. To quote Math. 1:24-25 (NKJV) Then  Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus. The spiritual intimacy and passionate love to which Jesus calls us, is described in these words, “Do you know Me?” Do we love Him like a bride would love her bridegroom? Do we have a desire for Him that is greater than any worldly desires? Can we lay the desire of the world at Jesus’ feet, and instead, choose to wash them with our tears, and to wipe them with our hair? Can we say “Lord, not my will, but Your will?” Is our passion for the Lord great enough that we can endure the persecution of the enemy? Are we ready to ride in His army? Are we ready to move out into this nation with a boldness and a fearlessness of spirit, equalled only by that of the apostles?

We must first look at our hearts. Do we harbour pride, envy and judgment among ourselves? Do we, in fact, carry a pride of our position in Christ, as good long-standing upright members of the Body, and in so doing, do we place ourselves on a pedestal, that we need to consider? Could this, perhaps be stopping us from having a real relationship with each other? I have a powerful love relationship with Jesus, and receive messages and visions. Without that love and His leading, I would not be able to put one footstep in front of another, as far as walking the walk, to which I’ve been called. I once had a Christian leader in this country, laughingly say to me, “I asked God, why He would ever choose to use you?”, and he said that the Lord replied, “It is none of your business.” He then went on to say, that he had been suitably rebuked for his question.

Though this was shared over lunch, under the friendliest of circumstances, what could have been implied in this question was, why would You ever choose to use someone like her, with no strengths of any noticeable sort, when good proven Christian leaders are available, perhaps even someone such as myself?” Is this not the key to whom God chooses to use? They are often people who have no great righteousness of their own, nor any great leadership skills. All they may have, is a passionate love for Jesus, a willingness to lean on Him, and a faith to move out where other men fear to tread. In many of the chosen ones, there is no great strength about which to boast, for they know their strength comes from the Lord, and that everything rests in His hands. It is only He, Who can prepare the way for what He calls us to do. Because the Lord is leading, rather than “good proven Christian leaders”, all the glory goes to His name. Let us focus on Jesus, and as He strips and circumcises our hearts, never add to His work, by doing a stoning of others. Let us look at our hearts, and see if we have any  pride of position in our Christian walk. Do we need to have any superior Christian attitudes removed, or are we of a different nature, allowing us to be vessels whom the Lord can use?

We are now again in the kind of times in which Noah found himself, when sin abounded in the world. Are we going to be called into the ark of the Lord’s protection, before His chosen time to close the door again, or will we be left, with our pride of self, out in the rain of judgment that is coming? If God wants to use us in these end days, we must be prepared to look at our hearts and to be ready for the stripping. Otherwise, the forces of the devil will come down on us so hard, that like many of the wobbly Christians, with their limited degree of commitment, we will be swept away by the waters of our own sin. Satan will always be able to get through to our need for recognition and acceptance. This angel of light will come in a way so deceptive, that it will be for us, like it was when Eve took a bite of the apple. He will bring a message saying, “Surely you will be like God,” and we will barely notice his masked deception.

O bride of the Lord, examine your heart. Look to see what you are harbouring inside. Repent before the Lord, and then bow in repentance for the sins of this nation.

HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THE GARDEN

Apr. 30, 1999

“My precious one, how beautiful is the garden! Will you walk with Me?” Oh, the joy of being asked to walk in communion and fellowship with the Lord, in that place where we were created to be! Could I have chosen the path of Eve? When one has walked with the Lord, is it possible to choose another route? Oh, the shame of having to hide oneself from His radiance! The loss is unbearable, and yet, my precious Christians, do we not share each day in Eve’s shame, as we continue to sin? Will the Father say “Walk with Me”, when we, too, displease Him?

We say things and do things, that cause pain to others, and yet, we seek the Father’s presence. Our government leaders continue to take away all the remaining signs of Christianity in this land, and we sit aside, behaving like mutes, either refusing to stand in opposition, or too weakened by the enemy to feel we can make a difference. As Christians, are we not called to be apostles, to take the Word to all nations? If we hide in fear at the slightest sign of persecution, would we ever be able to truly relate to the early Church of Christ, which was built on that apostolic foundation of self-sacrifice, to the point of martyrdom?

If the bride is ever to rise out of the institutional church, she is going to have to return to a boldness of spirit, with a willingness to face persecution for the Lord’s sake. The path of the bride, here on earth, will have to follow in the footsteps of the bridegroom. There will be no easy route back to the garden. But oh, the scent of the rose when you arrive, and the inexplicable joy of once more being united with our Lord, will be without measure.

Precious people, rise up and claim your place with Him. Let us make this land one He would choose, where He is our Lord and King, and there is no place for the evil one. Just as the lamb will one day dwell with the wolf, make this nation a place where our children might run and play in safety, and be nurtured to grow and walk once more with the Father, the purpose for which we were created.

Oh, people of God, come together in unity, to covenant with Jesus. Let us move with a passion for our Lord, that will change direction of governments, that will restore a judiciary of Christian men and women, and that will reclaim our schools for Christ. Let us make this a land where our Lord can see His promise fulfilled. Let His covenant find a resting place here, that He might live with us, and we might walk in the garden again with Him, to know Him and to feel the radiance of His presence for evermore.

INTIMACY WITH JESUS

May 1, 1999

Human secular thinking, bases knowledge on research and the mental disciplines of logic, through patterns and methodology set by man. Yet it has on it, the seal of limitations of the mind, leaving no room to consider the infinite, and matters of the spiritual. In every man resides two people; he who is created of the flesh, and he who is created of the Spirit. Can you look at someone and truly say “I know you”? Can you see the things of the spiritual being, that are invisible to the eye? Only God knows us from the inside out, and is able to see what is in the spirit, as opposed to what we see in the flesh. The highest knowledge that man can reach, is through an infilling of the Spirit, and with this rebirth comes an intimacy with God, the one and only God of the universe.

This same God has given us the Bible which is His divinely inspired true Word. It is full of prophecy, so that we might have a picture of what God’s plan for the world is, and it also gives us the pattern by which we are to conduct our lives. No amount of mental exercises by academia, can produce these truths. A news broadcaster can tell us the facts after an event occurs, but you and I, as Christians, can tell others the things that are yet to happen. It is only through revelation and knowledge of the Word, that we can truly discover the way we are meant to live our lives, and how, through God’s Son, Jesus Christ, we might receive the gift of eternal life. This is the highest knowledge for which to strive.

Now, much of the institutional church teaches us to know that God exists, and will further teach us a limited number of facts about the Bible. We can call this religion. Institutions of learning, in much the same way, teach us history about price ministers and presidents, to a degree that we can know almost every detail of their personal lives, but is this the same thing as knowing them personally? Likewise, to know God exists and to know about Him, does not mean the same thing as having a personal relationship with Him. This is where religion and Christianity part, for to know God personally, means to be reborn in the Spirit, along with having the promise of eternal life. The only way to the Father, is through Jesus, the Son (John 17:3).

How can we help this relationship and intimacy to grow? We can never know all there is to know about God, for His love is boundless and infinite. But He has given us the Word, which is truth, and in studying it, we grow and develop our closeness with the Father. The limitations of man’s thinking and knowledge are never more evident, than it is to a person who has this close and intimate relation with the Lord. For in God we see that all things are possible, and through prayer and repentance, all doors are open to us.

True church of Jesus, rise up as a bride, preparing for her wedding. Those who share the same intimate relational knowledge of our Lord, come together as a voice to this nation, so that we might make ready the way for His return. Come clothed in purity, not in religiosity, lest He say “I did not know you.” We must be ready, for He is coming soon. Many will be found in the institutions, but few will be ready for His appearing. Let us be bold in our declaration of who we are, and what we desire in a nation preparing for His return. Lift high our gates to this land, so that He may enter in glory, and we may be ready to embrace the Bridegroom. For it is written in the final words of the book of Revelation, that it is the Spirit and the bride who say “Come!” We must be ready and united in one body to join with our Lord in the call.

…THEN GOD CLOSED THE DOOR

May 1, 1999

These words are spoken in Gen. 7:16 (NKJV) So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him, and the Lord shut him in. The fullness of time had come, for God to intervene in the affairs of man, and He planned to use Noah and an ark, to complete His purposes for the world. Gen. 6:5 (NKJV) Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

God was grieved in His heart and was sorry that He had made man on this earth, so He decided to destroy him. However, one man called Noah, found grace in the eyes of the Lord, and God, in His infinite love and mercy, saved him. We see how God values the family by saving the whole family, when there is one righteous man.

At the appointed time, the flood came, and the Lord rained down His judgment upon the evil in man. For He had reached a point, where after having striven with the human race, His anger was aroused. Yet, they continued to ignore His pleas for men to change their ways. Ultimately, the righteous nature of God, has no place with the sinful nature of Satan within His creation. Destruction by flooding, came upon the surface of the earth.

The family on earth, is God’s created institution, which symbolizes in the natural, the love of God in the supernatural for His heavenly family. He has used marriage and its intimate love, to reflect the depth of the loving relationship that the Lord wants to have with us. It is interesting to see, that the first attack that is recorded on this saved family of Noah by Satan, was in the form of a homosexual act by Ham, who revealed the nakedness of his father. In doing this shameful act, a curse was brought upon him and his descendants by God. It is important to note at this time, that if Noah had not been asleep in drunkenness, that this act would likely not have happened.

The story of Noah, is not a fairytale to be taken lightly. It is a very real event that took place in the history of creation. It is an event of ancient times, foretelling the second coming of Jesus for His bride, the Church, and her ultimate rapture, at which time God prepares to rain down His final judgment on a world once more gone wild with violence and corruption, as it was in the days of Noah. Is not homosexuality still the tool that Satan flaunts before God, as he tries to destroy the very nature of the family?

Just as in the days of Noah, Jesus is coming for His bride, to take her out of this world of evil to a place of safety, before the fire of God’s judgment comes down. We feel the rumbling of the earth, while it moans in labour, to bring forth a bride that will fulfil her destiny of ushering in the return of Jesus, to collect her to Himself, as the time of the fullness of the Gentiles draws near. The birthing of the true church, the bride, is very real indeed, and she must be ready like the virgins with the oil in their lamps. She must be a pure and spotless bride, with a clear message to the nation and the people around her, just as Noah displayed his faithfulness to God, by building an ark in response to His calling. The people around Noah, would have laughed at him and mocked him, as they tried to draw him back into the alluring ways of the world. But Noah never wavered before the forces coming against him, even though it meant looking foolish in the eyes of wicked men, who cannot discern the ways of the Spirit. So too, shall the bride be mocked and made to appear foolish, as she sets about to be an example to this nation, and to a world that abounds in sin and violence. As with Noah, the mocking will stop to be replaced with shock, when the judgment begins.

The saving blood of Jesus is our ark. The time is near at hand, in fact, Jesus stands at the very door, which He is ready to shut. There is an allotted time for mercy and repentance, as God calls forth a bride for His Son, one who fears not the mocking, but will speak forth boldly into this land. Will we be left behind, as were those in the flood of destruction? Let us not be caught asleep, in our own drunkenness of religiosity, as Noah was when he allowed the sin of homosexuality to enter his family.

We must come forth as the bride, for the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” and let him who hears say, “Come!” She must have an apostolic fire and zeal for Jesus within, one that is not afraid to confront governments, and to change people and nations. It will bring persecution, such as that which followed the Bridegroom and His apostles, even to martyrdom, but to be safe in the ark of Jesus is the greatest reward that man can have in these dangerous times.

THEM DRY BONES

May 3, 1999

The Lord gave me a vision, in which I saw a single bone with a joint at each end, somewhat like a leg bone, and then I felt I heard the words “…And just one cell”. I started to see a field of bones. Cords began to join them together at the joints, until the field looked like it were full of puppets, the cords of which were held by hands that moved them. They started to dance, and they made a crackling, rattling, swishing noise, the intensity of which became frightening. They then moved forward like an army of skeletons, with no eyes and no flesh, which was very fearsome to behold. Yet, they were very much a puppet army, moving and dancing under the control of the hands that held the cords.

I said, “Lord, what is the meaning of this vision?” The Lord replied, “I am raising up an army so stripped to the bone, that the pain of stripping will prepare each one to withstand the attack of the enemy. Satan’s method is to accuse the brethren, and to mock, laugh and jeer at him. But this will be an army that Satan shall know he cannot touch. He also will know that there is no flesh of pride at which to shoot. This army of Mine, will be in the hands of the Master’s control, and as it starts to march, there will be a noise so great, that it will be heard throughout the nation, and ultimately throughout the world. Only the Master shall control this army, and there will be no generals, for the glory of victory will be Mine.”

I had a further vision, in which I saw the angels of God, washing white robes, and hanging them on a clothesline to dry. I felt this army would have no uniforms. It simply would be clothed in these white robes, to signify the purity and spotlessness of a bride. Would this army that is going to make such a noise in this nation, in fact, be none other than the bride of Christ? As she is brought to life by the cords of love that bind her to the hands of her bridegroom, will she not move with a passion of love, the cords of which only His fingers can control, making her invincible before the weakened forces of the enemy?

Ezekiel 37:1-2 (NKJV) The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.

Then HE caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.

Ezekiel 37:5 ‘Thus says the Lord God to these bones; “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

Ezekiel 37:7  So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.

Ezekiel 37:10  So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Ezekiel 37:14  “I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’”

WHEN GOD RAISES UP A LEADER

May 3, 1999

When God raises up an anointed leader, we need always to be looking for and supporting the anointing, for success follows on its heels. The anointed leader can be a person who surprises us, for to the human mind, there is no rhyme nor reason to God’s choices. We often see Him take a weak man, one of few leadership skills, then do a work in him, and behold, a man of God emerges!

Noah was a simple farmer of his day, living among idol worshippers and sinners. Something in the heart of Noah responded to the call of God, and the response was so strong that he spent years making an ark, for which work others would have mocked him. But he never wavered in his call, even though he would not have understood the full picture of God’s plan. He only had to obey. Abraham, as well, was raised among idol worshippers, but he heard the voice of God speaking. Here we see a man move in absolute faith into a life-changing situation, having no set plan, only the promise of God, and again a willingness to obey His call.

Moses was raised in the luxury and the idolatry of the palace of Pharaoh. What a future was his in the ancient world! But the hand of God was on his life, and He gave him a difficult wilderness experience, and a training to prepare Him for leading His people through the desert. Moses could have said, “Lord, this is too much for me, I want to return to the lifestyle of the palace.” But the hand of God did not let go. Moses became one of our greatest examples of a man listening to the voice of God and obeying, as he led millions of people, through the wilderness for forty years, a people, who never ceased to grumble and complain. It is in Moses’ experience that we see how harshly God will deal with those that oppose His anointed ones. It is a very risky thing to do, for God will prepare the way for His leader, and will remove any obstacles He chooses to remove. When Miriam and Aaron rebelled, God asked them why they were not afraid to speak against His servant Moses. Miriam instantly became leprous and was shut out of the camp for seven days, at God’s command. It was only through Moses’ pleas, that she was restored to health.

Joshua was a man of obedience and faithfulness. From the time of his youth, he chose to follow God’s ways, and showed no fear of moving where God led, though others failed to respond out of fear. God anointed him to lead the people into the promised land, and in the most unusual way, led Israel to success. Because of Joshua’s great faith and obedience, he became a powerful leader, but God was his strength in battle.

David was truly God’s anointed. Would you and I have supported a young shepherd boy who volunteered to slay a giant with a slingshot? Would we see in him the potential that God saw? Would we have seen his heart for God, and his strength that came from the Lord? Did men not say “Lord, we want a king of our choosing, so that we can be like other nations?” In rejecting God’s leadership, He acquiesced to their desires, and allowed them to experience the results. But when God anoints a leader he will raise him up in due time, through any adversity that man brings before that leader. Here we see David become the king of kings, and placed on a throne that will endure forever, in spite of man’s attempts to destroy it. Trials and troubles will follow God’s anointed one, but likewise, God’s hand will never leave him. Woe unto those that oppose him

Deborah, in faith accepted the leadership of an army when stronger men feared to respond. Esther confronted a king, when it could have meant instant death. Mary said “Yes” to bearing a Son, as she magnified the Lord, knowing it could mean shame, stoning and death.

The greatest Anointed of all, said “Yes Father” and obeyed unto death, that you and I might live. To oppose this anointing, will bring the strongest possible judgment upon man, for the Father has given us a free will, and eternal life is ours for the choosing or rejecting.

Come, O bride of Christ, and choose to be obedient to His call, for great will be the rewards of choosing God’s most anointed One, and great will be the punishment of our rejection. Now is the time for the true church to come forth in obedience, and to move in a faith which she has never displayed before. She must be salt and light to a world gone wild, with a determination and fearlessness, even unto death, that the world might know and receive salvation.

A NEW SONG IN A MAJOR KEY

May 10, 1999

The Lord gave me a vision of a concert grand piano, with its white keys and black keys. He said, that the church will sing a new song written in a major key, rather than in a minor one. This represents purity, as opposed to the black minor keys that divide the white ones. The black ones speak of doctrine, of black robes, or priestly controls and hierarchies, of minor kingdoms that rise up in the body, and of the divisiveness that the devil brings, to keep the unity of the bride apart. They represent the attractiveness of Satan’s call, with its enchanting notes and sounds that lure us to his kingdoms and religions of this world. On the other hand, the white keys speak of the purity of Christ and the Word, of coming together in a unity of Spirit without division, and of being overcomers of darkness. They speak of a move of the people, rather than of the institutions, to come back to Christ without the division of denominations or priestly controls. Doctrine will have no place in this song, for the theme will sing of Jesus and His Word, and love will make up the cords that bind the song together.

I was then made to think of the nation Israel, or how often she fell away from worshipping God and into the worship of false idols. The results were, that she became enslaved in Egypt, and she was taken into captivity by other ruling nations, to ultimately come under the control of Caesar, himself. As long as she worshipped God and He was at the centre of the nation’s life, she was victorious over her enemies, while God blessed her with the fruit and riches of the land.

The church belongs to Christ, and He led her to a new land some five hundred years ago, a land which was claimed for Him, and in which there was freedom to worship as each one so desired. This country chose to set up a government that honoured God, placing the Bible and the Word at the centre of its life and laws. Christianity was taught in the schools, and the Judeo-Christian moral code was the basis of our judicial system. God established a democracy, with the people being given the voice to choose governments that would uphold these values. Caesar’s dictatorial control was to be a thing of the past, while Christ was to become the centre of our focus. The Lord blessed this country, and poured riches upon its people, as we became the envy of the world. People desired to immigrate to North America from almost every other nation, in order to partake of this blessing. Canadians rarely wanted to emigrate to other war-torn countries, for we lived in a land of neighbourly love, free of violence for the most part, and safe for both young and old alike. Children were taught truth, respect, and a set of moral values, as they daily studied the Bible and the Word. Violence in the schools, was almost unheard of.

Then Satan started his move, as multiculturalism became the buzz word and the religion of Secular Humanism took over from Christianity, saying that there are no real truths, and all religions of the world are equal. As Christians sat mutely back, a Charter of Rights was implemented, that introduced a watered-down equality philosophy, that in fact has proven to be nothing more than an open door to minority rights control, with the values that built this nation being washed right down the drain, while minority voices cry for the blood of Christians. As Bibles were thrown out in favour of this new religion of equality instead of morality, violence crime and pornography took over the nation and an attack so fierce has come on the family that the very nature of the institution itself has been threatened. The outcome is that we have a nation of disturbed children and broken families, where the addictions of homosexuality, drugs, alcohol, and pornography are almost the norm. It is destroying this beautiful nation that God gave us, but woe to us as a people, for judgment, is just around the corner. Tornadoes are only a hint of what is to come.

We must hold the institutional church responsible for the failure of maintaining Christianity as the life giving force in this land. The Church itself listened to Satan rather than God’s Word, when he said that there is no place for Christianity in the governments of this land. What foolish people we were as we cowered under the attack of academia telling us that Christianity is just another religion, and that the less involvement of Christians in governments and the judiciary, the better. In fact, every possible manner of liberal thinking took over, and Christians became labelled as the enemy.

It is now time for the bride of Christ to come together from within the fractured body, and to shine outward, speaking back life and truth to the people, as she pulls us out of the persecution of dictatorial government controls. It is time to form a voice in unity, that will now be heard loudly and clearly, with a new song that has the clarity and ring of a clarion bell. Make no mistake, failure to repent before God as a nation and church, and then to come together and act in a new direction, will result in the same fate for Canada, that became that of the people of Israel. Caesar shall return and the church will be suppressed with its people scattered in different directions, becoming the slaves of other cultures and religions.

I believe that the Lord brought us to this land to be a light to the world, in the same manner that Israel was to be a light to the ancient world. Just as God promised a Messiah to the Israelites to take them out of captivity, the Lord has again promised to return, but this time to save the world from captivity. Are we, like the nation Israel, going to miss the moment, or are we going to be a bride in readiness for her Bridegroom, with oil in her lamps?

Rise up, O bride of Christ, and sing a new song in the major key. Speak life into His true church and into this nation, as we prepare to repossess this land and return it to a nation that worships God, and places Christian moral teachings at the centre of its being. Let us put an end to the controls of human secular religions and shout for truth. Let the sword of the tongue and the Word of God, be our strength, as we form a new army that moves into the land with the Lord, Himself as its leader. Victory will be assured.

Then the Spirit and the bride will be able to say “Come!” and those who hear will say “Come!”, and those who thirst may come, and anyone who desires may take of the water of life freely.

A PROPHETIC WORD FOR THE BRIDE

May 5, 1999

“Conditions of the pioneer, will return to this country. All the blessings of this age, shall be wiped away. My children appreciated nothing. The wealth of the land, turned them from Me, and they worshipped idols. Now they know Who I am, for their children no longer know Me. The tornados are only a sign of My wrath, and show how quickly I can take away the riches and treasures that man sets aside. Do they not know, that the treasures of heaven are to be desired over the treasures of this world? They barter and trade, but do not recognize Me, as they accumulate more and more for themselves.

Americans set themselves up as the watch-dogs of the world, but have they been watch-dogs for their own nation? Has a Christian society, that once honoured Me at the very centre of its government, turned into a society that now wants to destroy any sign of My Kingship in this land? I ask you, have My people in the church been ready to fight the enemy, or have they joined the enemy and stepped back in silence? Have my sheep in the pew been led astray, finding themselves lost in the fast running waters? Are they struggling to swim and stay alive, as the waters overcome their strength to survive? Where are my priests, who have disguised themselves in black robes? Are they not hiding their shame like Adam, to whom I said ‘Where are you, … have you eaten from the tree that I told you not to eat from?’

O, My bride, come out from behind the black robes of the institutional church. Come, those who know the voice of the true shepherd. I have white robes for you to wear, for your purity will set you apart from those steeped in false doctrine and unable to hear My voice. I want My bride to ride with Me now, and to cross this broken country, that felt My hand upon it. I want this people to know Who I am, for I shall rule this land, and Satan and his forces will be sent flying. If people become blinded and confused by the treasures of this earth, then like a small child being disciplined by its parents, I shall take their toys away until they learn to respect and play by My rules. A covered wagon would better serve your purposes than a car, and a silver bracelet would be of more value than dollars, for what good is money, when there is no food to buy? I shall take away the public waters, until this people quenches its thirst with the living waters from heaven, and blesses the One that gives it.

Awake, O bride, for a mighty rushing water is going to flow over this land and once more revive My name among its people. Seek the Father, that you might show Him honour and abide with Him, that the people might know and see His glory in you. Speak unto this nation, and return the children to My Father, for I am coming sooner than you think, and I want only a pure and spotless bride, one through whom My glory shines. Silence is the enemy, but your voice shall sound a clear bell, that calls back life into this land.”

‘My bride, come ride with Me, as we march into the land, in victory!’

WHO IS SHE?

In a vision, I saw only the feet of a woman dancing, spatted feet, in high-buttoned shoes they gently moved, crossing back and forth, beneath her straight skirt of dark smooth cotton. I could imagine a woman of gentle nature, but firm and determined in her walk. This is a woman who stands straight and tall, a woman of principal, upon whom her family and her neighbours can depend. She does not compromise in her faith, for she has a love of Jesus that supersedes all else in her life. She knows not the meaning of political correctness, for she speaks truth to the world. Humility is seen in her manner, while wisdom comes forth from her lips.

This is a woman of some stature, with a love and compassion for those around her. Her feet seem to display a grace and a winsomeness of movement, as she taps out her steps to the tune she hears. Could it be that she is dancing to a heavenly tune, one composed by the Master himself? Could she be practising the steps in preparation for the dance, which is to take place at the wedding, that she is so anticipating? For she is fed by the Word, and drinks of the living waters of heaven while each day she communes with the Bridegroom, as she yearns with great longing for His return.

Might this not very well be the bride, herself, who is in readiness for the Lord’s call, as she makes preparation for the celebration?

A WARRIOR BRIDE

The bride will shout His name unto the Nation. She will sing praises to His name. Her worship and adoration for the Bridegroom, will consume her. Passion is constantly in her heart and the name of Jesus is music to her ear. Her soul panteth for Him and her heart cries out for His return. She is loyal to bring His name before this nation, and to cry out for His will to be done. She seeks to teach the children, day and night. She will not submit to defeat by the devil, for she knows the Lord will be victorious in this land. She reclaims this country, to make a nesting place for herself and the Lord. For He will be King of the nations, and Ruler of the world.

Come, O bride, come out and speak into this land with authority. Reclaim it for the Lord, once again, for God will have dominion from sea to sea.

The time is short, the hour approaches.

Put on your white robes, and mount the horses.

Raise high your sword, the sword of the tongue,

Bring forth His Word, the battle has begun.

CONCLUDING PRAYER OF THE BRIDE

O Father, my Father, our sins weigh heavily upon me. We are a nation which no longer knows You. We are a church that has lost its way in doctrine and in silence. We seek not Your face, but rather look for our own reflection in the mirror. Will Your mercy and grace endure forever? Will You withhold Your wrath, as You watch Your people sleep in the midst of turmoil? Your cry is for prayer and repentance, yet they hear not. You call to Your bride, and she heeds not Your voice. O Lord, have mercy upon us, as we go our own ways in disobedience. Pull us back and draw us to You. Open the doors of the nation, to allow the bride in, so that once more, the people will know You, and the children will learn Your ways.

Come Father, as we beg forgiveness, come and heal this land. Let us be a bride of purity and strength, one that will choose to obey and follow in the footsteps of her Bridegroom. Let us hold Your hand, as You lead us to our mansions on high. The Spirit and the Bride will say “Come!” and those that hear will say “Come!”. The hour has drawn near. Open our eyes and hearts Lord, that You might receive us unto Yourself. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Your Son and our Redeemer, and the Bridegroom for whom we long. Amen.
